My 6" heel scrapes against the floor as I step to regain my balance. I've gotten pretty good at walking in heels, but these are steeper than my usual pair and the short chain between my ankles makes it impossible to take a full stride. I crouch down carefully to sweep up the dust from the floor. My corset squeezes me into good posture, restricting my movement more-so than it already is. My wrist bound together make the task a tricky ordeal, but my uniform is non-negotiable.
