Ivy almost chastises herself as Salvatore looked away, despite his warm words. She knew her troubles were her own, and she shouldn’t saddle them on other people. Especially with people as important to the community as Salvatore. She was drawn from her thoughts when he spoke about the kinds of women he had met over the years. As he looked to her while saying the last part, she couldn’t help but to blush deeply. She was used to men hitting on her, but Salvatore seemed to have a way about him that made her body feel warm. She then winced when he said that he could tell that something was wrong, and she glanced away. Ivy was well aware that he meant her no harm, but she was reluctant to burden him so but at the same time, she felt the need to talk to someone. She fiddled with her lollipop nervously, biting on her lip before she looked back up at him, “I… I just had a really bad customer.” She admitted, keeping her voice low so that no one could hear her, “I don’t know who she was but… she was a monster. I don’t know what kind but she had big claws and… she made me see things…” She bit her lip again, “Like my store melting away… I was so scared I just gave her what she wanted.” Her eyes glanced around in an almost paranoid fashion before she locked eyes with him again, letting him see her fear, “And I’m scared she’s going to come back… She already told me not to look under my bed tonight…” She trailed off, not even wanting to finish that thought.
-
Ivy couldn’t help but to jump slightly when the door opened but after a flash moment of panic she realised that the person who walked into the store was a rather tall, handsome human dressed in what appeared to be very fancy clothing. She felt herself relax slightly, not knowing that it wasn’t that horrible woman returning to cause her more trouble. Nervously, she continued to suckle on her lollipop, watching as the man seemed to ignore the shelves and approach her. She couldn’t help but to stiffen slightly at his approach, but relaxed a little more when he gave her a friendly greeting, along with a charming smile. Despite herself, she felt her cheeks redden slightly as he leaned down on the counter, giving her a warm and friendly look. She felt herself relax a little more as he seemed to exude the aura of comfort and protection. In a way, she was glad that he was there. If that strange lady came back in, she had the feeling that he would not put up with her antics… unless he was as vulnerable to her illusions as she had been. She pursed her lips around her lollipop for a moment, trying to push those thoughts from her mind. After all, she had a customer- a really hot customer- to deal with. Ivy pulled the lollipop from her mouth with a soft pop, licking her lips as she gave him a slight smile although she could sense that it likely looked fake, “Hello… it’s a pleasure to meet you, too.” She said, responding to his warm greeting with a soft but no less warm greeting of her own. At his second question, her smile became slightly strained, “As… well as it can. But then retail has its own fair of troubles, doesn’t it?” She tried to smile a little wider but it came out more of a grimace than a smile.

I've just finished a scene with @JennyDK so, if they don't mind, I would like to do a scene between Ivy and Salvatore. It could be very interesting and he looks like he could give some great comfort xP

If anyone is interested in visiting Ivy at The Sweet Tooth, a sweet/candy store, then please let me know. She's had a bit of a scary encounter with Jessica and could do with some kind of comfort xP

Ivy felt herself cringe a little at the sound of the other girls giggling. The sound made her want to hide behind her counter for the rest of the day. Her face paled as the girl told her to not to look under her bed that night. What the hell did she mean by that? Ivy remained stood where she was, stunned, as the girl turned and left the shop. The sound of the bell ringing cheerfully was almost mocking to Ivy. She wasn’t sure how long she had remained standing there before she suddenly shook herself, trying to draw herself from her reverie. Her eyes darted out of the window, almost afraid that she would come back. Her eyes were drawn to the front door of the shop and she quickly went over to it and locked it tightly. She flipped the sign to say that they were closed. Right now, she was not ready for any more customers. Her first one of the day had been a disaster. She needed some time to herself before she could open things up again. Returning to the counter, Ivy picked up the discarded sweet packets and threw them into the bin behind the counter. Glancing outside once again to ensure no one could see her, she knelt down behind the counter so that she was hidden from view and began to cry, sobbing out her fear. She never wanted to experience anything like that again, and she hoped that that evil woman would never come back. It was only after she had calmed down a little and the tears had stopped flowing when Ivy stood up and went into the back of the store. She leaned herself up in the bathroom, trying to make sure that she didn’t look as if she hadn’t spent the last half hour bawling her eyes out. When she was satisfied, she returned to the storefront and hesitantly unlocked the front door and flipped the sign back over. She then returned to the counter, but she didn’t sit back down on the stall. Instead, she stood stiff and her fingers nervously played with each other on the surface. After a moment, she reached under the counter and pulled out an orange lollipop. She unwrapped it, allowing the wrapper the fall into the bin behind the counter before she popped it into her mouth. While her favourite flavour was strawberry, she really didn’t want one. Not right now.
-
Ivy moved as quickly as she could, wanting to do this as quickly as possible. Once she arrived at the ice cream bar, she threw everything she needed into the blender as quickly as she could. She lost precious seconds as her hands trembled and no matter what she said to herself, she couldn’t get them under control. Her milkshake wasn’t anything too special, with some milk and powder thrown in with a good amount of strawberry ice cream. She also threw in some strawberries for extra texture and flavour before blending it all together to produce a very thick, ice cream milkshake. She finally poured the drink into a plastic cup, pressing down the lid and picking up one of the plastic straws, thanking any kind of God, existent or not, that she was finally finished. Taking a shallow breath, as the band of fear constricting her chest prevented her from taking a deep breath, Ivy picked up the cold cup and turned around to return to the front of the shop. When she saw the woman again, casually eating the sweets she had been given, she flinched again. Carefully, as if afraid to startle a very dangerous animal in her midst, Ivy put the milkshake on the counter and withdrew again, “T-there’s your shake.” She would have told the woman to enjoy it, but a small, spiteful part of her didn’t want to wish that on her. If she never saw that woman again, it would still be too soon.
-
The cackling of the other woman made Ivy cringe, causing her to curl up into an even tighter call in an attempt to get away from her. She sobbed in relief when everything seemed to return to normal. Her beautiful shop back to how it should be. She flinched again at the sound of the girl's voice. She looked up as she pointed out everything that she wanted, demanding it as if she was a Queen ordering her servants about. Trembling, Ivy pushed herself up from the floor using the cupboard to support herself. She snatched a bag up from where it was resting on a hook beside the till and, careful to slide around the woman, emerged from behind the counter. Not saying a word, she went up to the shelves and took the ones that were demanded, and put them in the bag, her hand trembling violently as she did so as she sobbed softly. Despite the urge to just throw them carelessly into it, Ivy still loved her sweets far too much to do that. Ivy turned back around, not daring to look at the other woman as she put the bag down on the counter. She wanted to defiantly tell her ‘There! There’s your fucking candy!’ but she stayed her tongue. Instead, she said in a small voice, “I’ll be back with your milkshake.” She then turned and walked off down the aisle towards the back of the shop.
-
Ivy’s eyes went wide as she saw her shop begin to melt around her, as if everything was made of chocolate and was under the heat of the blazing sun, “W-what is going on?!” She asked, feeling herself sinking down to the floor as she looked around frantically, feeling a knot of fear growing in her stomach. A small scream escaped her as everything melted away until she was left on nothing more than a small platform, surrounded by an endless void that she tried hard not to look at and yet seemed to close in around her. She closed her eyes, her hands clutching harder at her head as those strange formless words came upon her, demanding that she give the woman what she wanted. This is not what Ivy had signed up for when she set up her shop. She didn’t think she could handle this. She shook her head from side to side, “Please! Make it stop! I’ll give you whatever you want if you would just stop it!” She sobbed, tears pouring down her cheeks as she couldn’t hold back the fear anymore.
-
The cackling causes the hair on the back of Ivy’s neck to stand on end. Once again she heard the strange scrambled words in her mind, the ones she couldn’t hear and yet she understood their meaning clearly. She cringed back, pressing herself up against the cupboard behind her as she reached up and clutched at her head, “Please! S-stop that! It hurts my head!” She cried as she felt a headache throbbing painfully behind her eyes.
-
Ivy flinched when she felt the slaw lightly run from the base of her neck to her chin. It left a burning trail on her skin and she wanted nothing more than to reach up and rub the skin, but she was almost paralysed, staring back into the huge eyes that seemed to be mocking her. She gumped, her throat twitching in response as her hands clenched on the counter. She had never seen such a grin on someone before, and she really didn’t like the look of it. All she wanted was to try and get as far away from this person as possible. This was not how she had imagined her first customer to be like. Finally able to muster some kind of courage, Ivy tore her eyes away from the others and she took a step back. She took a quick, shallow breath as if she was coming out of the water before she looked back up and tried to speak with more confidence than she had earlier, “You wouldn’t be a bother… ma’am. I-If you tell me what you want, I can go and make your milkshake. Y-you’re more than free to have a look for a-anything else you may want to purchase.” She cursed herself for the stuttering, but at least it wasn’t as bad as earlier. She wanted to get to the ice cream bar so that she could have something solid between her and this woman.

Location: Bear’s gun shop Victor’s eyebrow rose in interest when Bear said that there was a black cougar as well as a couple of others causing trouble for the local livestock. With how much the town likely depended on the ranches, there was no doubt in his mind that the townsfolk would love to have the trouble dealt with. And it wasn’t as if he had not hunted a cougar before. He thinned his lips, looking down at Fenni who tilted his head back up at him. The two of them looked at each other for a moment, before Fenni’s tail wagged a little. Victor then looked back up at Bear. It might be less risky to bunk with Bear rather than at the tavern or an inn. He wasn’t looking to settle permanently, so a house was out of the question. He didn’t even have enough money to pay for it anyway. And killing a couple of cougars was a good deal. He straightened a little, downing the rest of his whiskey before carefully putting the glass down on the counter, “It sounds like a simple job for me. How long would those two cougars pay for board? A night? A week?” He asked, wanting to be absolutely clear on this. -
Even as he felt himself becoming comfortable, Drake was suddenly aware of how much her breasts were jiggling. He had never really noticed such things in the past, but he couldn’t help but notice how hypnotic they were. It made him freeze in place, unsure how to even react. He jumped a little when she spoke, and he immediately looked up at her face, almost missing what she had said. He gave her a slight smile, “That’s why I’m here. I’m about as far out of my comfort zone as I can get. My family aren’t really ones for new experiences… I didn’t want to live my whole life knowing only the forest. I’m curious, and I wanted to expand my horizons. I’m not the most confident of people but… I’m not going to achieve my if I keep within my comfort zone.”
-
Ivy couldn’t help but shiver as the woman spoke again. It was, if possible, even creepier than before. She had to resist the urge to step back and run into the back of the store. She wasn’t sure if this person was doing it on purpose, or just one of the side effects of her being a monster. She didn’t really want to judge, but with each word being spoken, she was finding it harder and harder not to. She flinched when she heard a voice in her mind. It sounded almost scrambled, as if she couldn’t hear the words yet understood their meaning clearly. It caused her head to throb painfully and she reached up to touch the side of her head, shaking it slightly to try and rid herself of the disorientating sensation. Getting a grip of herself, she said, “T-the shelves are packed with sweets… a-as for the milkshake… I-I have an ice cream b-bar at the b-back. Y-you can p-pick your own f-flavour.” She could barely get the words out. She was stuttering like some shy virgin confronted with their first kiss. She felt her cheeks heat up in embarrassment, and yet she couldn’t help herself.
-
While waiting for her first customer, Ivy grew bored and had picked up a book she had placed behind the counter for slow times. She opened it up to her spot, glueing her eyes to the pages as she tried to keep her excitement under control. When the bell did ring, her eyes jerked up and towards the door, a smile on her lips. It faltered a little at the woman who came into the shop with her huge, rather impressive purple claws and skeletal looking wings. She slipped the book underneath the counter so that it was hidden from view. Before she opened her mouth, the other woman spoke and Ivy felt her smile drop as she stared at the girl. Her voice was so strange, it was as if many people were talking at once. It made a chill run down her spine. The greeting she had on the tip of her tongue vanished as she forgot herself for a moment. Finally, she shook her head and gave the woman a hesitant smile, “H-Hi. Welcome to The Sweet Tooth… how may I help you today? I have a wide range of sweets, candies and chocolates that will satisfy even the pickiest of sweet tooths!” She asked, trying to keep a welcoming smile on her face.
-
Drake purred softly when she seemed so happy with how their small test flight had done. It had been better than he was expecting, and he was quite pleased with himself. At her concern for his wing, he tilted his head to look at it. It wasn’t really hurting, and nothing seemed to be broken, despite how delicate the flight bones appeared. He looked back at her as he shifted back into his human form. He rubbed the back of his neck as he gave her a shy smile, “I’m really glad you liked that. It felt a little weird carrying me, but I think it’s something I could easily get used to. It would be nicer to fly somewhere with a bit more room. Less chance of clipping my wing.” His smile then turned into a grin, as he felt a little infected with her chipper mood. The fact that she seemed to liked flying as much as he did, was allowing him to relax and feel more comfortable in her presence.
-
Drake was glad that Julia pressed herself flat against her back, reducing the wind resistance. He was vaguely aware of her body pressing against his, but he was too focused on flying to really notice. The two of them twisted in the air, spiraling up until they came to the top floor. Drake twisted, flying over the railing. Before he could fly into one of the shelves, he angled himself to just about miss it, his wing just clipping it. He rightened himself, flaring his wings and dropping down onto the library floor, skipping forwards to prevent coming to a sudden stop and accidentally unseating Julia. When he slowed to a stop, he twisted his head to look at her, “Are you alright?” He asked, hoping that the experience was neither harmful nor unnerving for her.
-
Ivy smiled with contentment as she took a step back, observing with pride the colourful display of sweets and chocolates before her. The colourful wrappers and bags were eye catching, and she found herself almost mesmerised by the artistic appearance of it. She reached forwards, tweaking the wrapper of a small bag of sweets, delighting in the soft crackling sound as it settled. She then looked around at the shelves that were stacked by new sweets, ones that she had made herself. It was her hope that people would come in and enjoy her creations that she made with her hands. She turned and moved over to the front door, placing her hand on the closed and open sign, before she flipped it so that it declared that her shop was now open for business. She glanced up at the small bell on the door that would ring when someone entered. Ivy then turned back around and moved to the counter, slipping behind it and sitting herself on the stool behind the till, eagerly awaiting her first customer, @JennyDK.

Drake arched his neck, looking back as he felt her weight settle on his back. As he had thought, she wasn’t heavy enough to really impede his flight. He shifted a little, testing the balance of her weight and he figured that he was going to have to be careful in flying, as he would need to practise with such a weight on his back before doing the more complex maneuvers that were commonly used in the forest to avoid crashing into trees and branches. His tongue flickered out, lightly touching her knee before he said, “Don’t be afraid to wrap your arms around my neck. It might allow you to better lean into my movements. I’ve never done this before so I apologise if things aren’t exactly smooth.” He then twisted his head back forwards, tilting his head slightly to look up and the judge the kind of clearance that he had. He was glad that the library was as large as it was, as it gave him plenty of room to fly. He tensed his muscles a few times before he skipped forwards several steps before launching himself into the air with his powerful hind legs and a downsweep of his wings. As he suspected, Julia’s weight made it a little harder to get into the air, but it was not impossible. After several strained sweeps of his wings, he was quickly climbing past the bookshelf which passed as a blur beside them. They emerged from between the shelves and into the main body of the library. Trying to be as careful as he could, he twisted so that he flew around the central column, flying up into the upper levels of the library.
-
Drake tilted his head at her request and blinked an eye down at her before he snorted softly, causing a small curl of smoke to emerge from his nostrils, “Honestly, I’ve never tried carrying someone while flying. So… it would be a first for me, too. But I’m willing to try. At least, if you fall off, you’re able to catch yourself.” He said, his upper lip curling a little to show his sharp teeth in a grin. He was certainly willing to try. Many of those he knew would likely consider it beneath them to carry someone like some kind of beast of burden. He didn’t think so, especially if the person he agreed to carry didn’t take the piss, which he doubted Julia would do.
-
Drake watched as she stepped closer, his purring getting a little louder at her awe. He shifted back a little, sitting back as his tail twitched a little. He tilted his head a little, pausing a moment before he spoke, the words a little awkward with his forked tongue, “I can fly. And yes, I can breath fire.” At her last question, he peered at her, looking her up and down a few moments before he said, “I should be able to handle your weight, easily. Flying might be a little strain but still possible.” He then looked at her own wings and asked, “Are you able to fly with yours?”
-
Almost self-consciously, Drake shrugged a little and gave her a little smile, “I suppose all I said was that I wasn’t human. I’m, er, a dragon. A Lampent Guardian… it’s a subspecies of the Nightstalker dragon.” He hesitated a moment before finally saying, “I suppose you’re curious to see? I’m not that big, since I’m still reasonably young but…” He trailed off before he stepped back and seemed to melt into his true form, his talons clipping against the floor of the library. The soft glowing of his markings lit up the books in a soft blue light. He wasn’t that large, roughly about the size of a Welsh Pony, but still large enough that Julia could comfortably sit on his back. He tilted his head a little and peered at her, blinking one blue eye at her. His snake-like tongue flickered out, touching her lightly on the shoulder. Then, to appear as less threatening as possible, he started to hum softly. However, it sounded a little more like purring than an actual hum.

Drake observed the tail as it opened up slightly to reveal the insides. He could smell the subtle scent as it filled the air, and it wasn’t as unpleasant as he would have thought. He observed the glistening flesh. He still wasn’t too sure if he was the kind of person that would want to have sex with such an organ, but he was somewhat beginning to see why people would. He turned his attention back to Julia and gave her a small, shy smile, “I’ve never met a Manticore before today. I’ve lived my whole life in the Glowing Forest. Not many Manticore’s come that way. So I had no idea about the tail.” He explained.
