  1. So, there's a certain anime that came out fairly recently that kind of inspired this idea. It doesn't have to be the exact same concept, mind you, but the idea is very similar. The basic premise is that a young woman meets a nice young man and falls for him very quickly. There's just one problem, the woman is actually a monster, and her monster form comes out every single time she feels overwhelmingly positive, adding some major conflict to the relationship. Naturally, I'd play the man and my partner would play the monster woman. I have a few ideas for how to go about this. One is that the woman has gone her whole life up until now blissfully unaware of her monster form as she has never felt this close to anyone before, and just simply falling for someone for the first time was the big thing that truly brought it out, and at first, she's not even aware of the fact that she transformed when it first happens, and when she finds out, it makes her afraid to confront the man again as she does her best to avoid him so he'll never find out she was the monster who terrified him shortly after their first meeting. The other scenario is similar to the anime that inspired this, basically, there's a whole backstory where she fell for someone as a kid but then noticed that being open about those feelings caused parts of her body to transform, so she decided to close herself off and never get close to anyone ever again, leading to her being more of a recluse who lives with her overprotective mother, so when she meets the male lead, it's when she's going on a grocery run or something along those lines, and it's when she falls in love with the guy that her monster form comes out completely for the first time. Another scenario is that she comes from a society of these creatures that generally stay away from humankind, but being more of a rebellious spirit, she has decided to leave her home and move into the city, and that's when she meets the man and finds out how difficult it'll be to hide her true form. The one thing all three scenarios have in common is that through various circumstances, the guy doesn't see the woman transform for the first multiple instances where it happens. So every time he sees her in her monster form, he just sees a terrifying monster and assumes the worst may have happened to her human form. It's only overtime that he starts to put two-and-two together. As for what the monster form should be like, it can be whatever you want. I really have no preference there. Anyway, as always, something to note about me, my post length isn't always long. I can write at least one good paragraph per post if that's a requirement of yours, but don't expect huge posts from me all the time. At the very least, I can easily avoid one-liners.
  2. I actually have quite a few ideas that connect to your interests if you'd like to discuss details via Ecchitext.
  3. So, along with the three ideas I keep bumping to the front page, I have a few other vague little concepts that are connected to specific character types I'd like a female partner to play. We can discuss further details for general plot ideas related to that via Ecchitext, but yeah, I'd like to start a new RP using one of the following types of female love interests for my lead: 1) A tsundere. It's funny, I'm not even the biggest fan of these types of characters in anime, yet I love when my partners play them. I enjoy having my character repeatedly beaten up over misunderstandings. Plus, it makes for decent character development when my partner really commits to the role. 2) This is something I've never really intentionally sought out before, but I have an idea for a generally wholesome slice-of-life RP where my character starts dating a woman with some kind of mental condition that adds a bit of depth and slight conflict to the relationship. Like, the condition wouldn't be played for laughs. It would just be a part of the female lead's personality. It could add internal conflict, like does she feel worthy of this well-adjusted man/woman who's taken interest in her, you know, that sort of thing. I've thought of a few different scenarios, and if you feel comfortable playing a character like that, we can discuss it. 3) Naive victim. This one I've actually done many times for multiple different scenarios, and yeah, this would be mainly for laughs/sexual scenarios. Here, you would play a character whose entire purpose is to be taken advantage of, most likely leading to a downer ending where her naivety leads to her own downfall. Heck, in a scenario like this, it's even possible I wouldn't even play a main character myself but rather multiple antagonists who take advantage of your character. 4) Strong yet sensitive soul. Basically, you would play a woman who's physically stronger, maybe even taller than my character, but also has a sweet spot for my character. Like, she could be aggressive around others, or maybe she's a gentle giant, but whatever the case, she is always loving and protective toward her much weaker boyfriend/girlfriend and will do anything to protect him/her. This could even be a combination of the tsundere trope where she starts off with animosity toward my character then gradually becomes much kinder and more open about her true feelings. So, yeah, those are just some character types I'd like to have my main character hook up with if any of you are interested. Again, there are multiple plots we could create with these general ideas, so hit me up if you wish to discuss that. Also, as always, gotta remind you all, I don't always write long posts. I've adjusted enough that I can at least consistently write one good paragraph per post if you want me to, but just note it's not always easy for me to write huge epics every single time.
  4. Sweetbread is a great RP partner. I've been having a lot of fun. She puts great detail into her posts but also seems to understand that I can't always write super long posts myself. Honestly, I only have one minor gripe, and it's that I really wish she'd post more than once a day, especially when I can clearly see she's online more than once a day, but at the very least, every post is worth the wait. Nevertheless, I do recommend this person.
