Exactly, not girls. As for futa, it really depends on the partner. Some like them, some don't. It makes for a fun yuri time with an added spice. One of the rare times I may have to pick a human if I decided to roleplay, at least as far as I understood this. But yeah, according to what I've seen of some games and movies, I can tell on that side what you're really going for with this.

Just so we are clear, you can check my spiritist in my albums. She is a sort of tabletop "class" character with a name so she doesn't have any real details to her except, well, the class she has and what specialty she can use. She is basically like choosing a DND class and making a character out of it. I made a character out of her. THAT IS, as long as it fits the fantasy setting. If the setting is something else, I'll switch. I wasn't exactly thinking about the setting when I made that comment, just a wish to do something with her. I didn't exactly take a look or made myself aware of what setting you're going for. Edit: After reading the main post, yeah, I think she might not fit that setting. I don't think I have a single character that does either. The mix between the themes shown might not fit any possible character I might make. Although, the mix of wild west/steampunk/weird science would basically be Wild Arms for me. Cowboys and ancient machines, etc. Reading the rest of the post doesn't do better to tell me what kind of character should exist in such world except for a possible Bioshock themed character. But yeah, never really delved in that kind of thing before. It's my bad for not reading well.

So how many max people can join? I still have that spiritist character I wanted to use somewhere and it seems like the old board game attempt I tried to do didn't go further than just a few posts. As I mentioned in another club I think, I'd still be interested to see how and where this is going for the sake of the experience, I suppose? Plus Spiritist. She's anxiously waiting for a spot.

Jumi's protectiveness was admirable but Mitsuko felt like she was the one who should be doing that. Factually, Jumi had much more experience than she did, though. One day, however... She might want to hurt us and it could as well be a poisoned apple but... I don't know. There has to be something else. Shinigami said to put it somewhere safe. I think she doesn't want anyone else to mistakenly bite it. I'm glad you're there to keep me going, though.", she said, laying down waiting but without teasing anyhow or at least as much as possible. She was freely naked in front of her, after all. To the question of couples, Mitsuko was mostly trying to adapt to this new world. What one may consider wrong, this world's perspective allowed for more sexual freedom. "I mean, it doesn't have to be a couple thing. Just a friend thing... Have the fox change into a human and make them transform into one like her? Would she be stronger than she was? She might need to find a way to defeat Lenneth but not like this. Shinigami exhausted me and it left me tired but I was glad to be there with her. Thanks for being there, though.", she told her before she gave her a subtle kiss, leaving her friend to get ready for bed as she herself went to one and laid down, ready to rest and/or cuddle with her. Just that would feel nice to her for now. Shinigami simply let Umi continue, not knowing what she had in mind. Can you...?", she asked, feeling curious. For the time being, Shinigami was not sure if any of her current tricks would help them do anything but a magic object may work. "Maybe if I provide magic to one of your objects, you might be able to use it. I don't exactly trust humans but I have reasons to trust you, at least. My spells are mostly offensive but I do have some tricks.", she said with a smirk before she cast a dark chain, binding both her own wrist and Umi's for some seconds. A bind she then undid. "I was made to do a lot of things... I don't know if I am perfect but I am proud of what I can do. If you have a catalyst or an object to store magic, I'll share some of mine to you. For now, we can focus on this...", she continued, enjoying the body examination.

Mitsuko smiled a bit, standing there naked but comfortable, trying to behave like she did at the manor. As she was more used to it, it got easier to do that. The apple did not look strange or anything but it was fresh, seemingly. If it was magical or something, its properties were not easily noticeable. Mitsuko moved closer to her, like her current state was perfectly normal. "You're right. I'm not sure why she did give this to me. I don't really trust her like I trusted Shinigami. I would like to hold you close, Jumi.", she said, approaching closer and seeking some comfort. Nall, for now, sat there quietly and listened to the answer given. On this, he shared the same thoughts about exactly. Perhaps he was himself an odd creature to humans but he was not the one being seen as an enemy of humans. They were both beastly but Shinigami was a humanoid force to reckon. She had bigger paws than even his head, much fur but no wings, a long tail and this odd biology, fitting for a daughter of Death, perhaps. Her purple-ish bits also suited her color schemes well... He may not know much of sexual things, thanks to living with Althena who only kept her surrounding pure, but he saw why Mitsuko and Jumi would be attracted. The two themselves being gifts for the eyes to look at, back then. Shinigami didn't mind Nall being there and wouldn't push him away, even if things went further. For now, she looked at Umi. "Nothing to be careful about. Look at and touch whatever you like. It's the only time you will have this chance. Not a single thing you see here is forbidden.", she replied with a smirk, enjoying the arm touch at the very least. "You're also free to make yourself comfortable as well. I don't bite... Do you humans have any means to extract or store magic?", she said with a slight tease but turned to ask as well while they were on the topic of analysis. If anything in the mean time, her body was still at rest but she was still sexually exposed, hiding nothing as she observed Umi's behaviors and reactions.

Mitsuko followed quietly, only watching the surrounding at first. A small building for guests where they could be alone. That sounded perfect for them. "W-we can rest or anything, now.", she told her. Shinigami raised an eyebrow as the private room was mentioned but that sounded alright for all events. Nall just put a smile when he was invited, thinking that he might finally be able to find something out about the fox, whether that info would be useful to the girls or not. The fox did not sound like she wanted to hide anything from them anyway. After they left and sealed the room, the two followed Umi all the way to another sealed room. These measures made it seem like security was not a joke but neither commented on it. Once they were invited inside, Nall moved to land on a desk for the time being so he could rest his wings. Shinigami instead took a look at the room and waited for Umi to say before she did anything. Once the fox was told to get comfortable, she went to the bed and magically removed her clothes before she would lay down on it, revealing everything about her, her legs spread to let her tail rest between them. Despite what was there for them to see, Shinigami's body was in a relaxed mood and she only looked up to the ceiling. Before Nall could say anything about it, Umi placed a chair for him just in case he preferred it. The point of view from where he was now was interesting to say the least, though. "I will be alright! But um... What are you going to do with her?", he dared to ask out of curiosity, not thinking of anything sexual in spite of what the fox was currently showing. There certainly was something pretty about her. Shinigami turned her head gently to look toward Umi, "Feel free to look and touch as you like... Whatever mean you have to feel or draw my power, I don't mind it either. Use what you find to make one of your seals against her.", she said, referring to the previous encounter. While oblivious to Shinigami's intentions, she was not sure if thinking about fun times with her friend was a good idea in the temple. Some affection was fine but she feared being judged by Jumi for even thinking about it, if she did not make it obvious enough already. Still, she looked forward to some time alone with her anyway, holding Jumi's hand as they went, at the very least. She wanted to give her some attention. Nall seemed to stay near the two others for the moment, being curious about Shinigami himself. The fox didn't seem too worried about the two now that the girl and the cat were gone. She also was getting used to Nall being around so she did not say anything about him for now. "That sounds fine... I am sure they will be having fun on their side while we are busy.", she said to Umi while then looking at the altar room. That place looked rough and not comfortable. "If you hope to check me and use my powers, we need somewhere I can lay down. A bed would do fine.", she replied to the question, thinking that it would be best. She was not certain how Umi would examine her but Shinigami would make herself comfortable for it.

Mitsuko held on Jumi tighter when the fairy mentioned watching. A part of her wanted to go along but not because she was worried about Shinigami or feeling like it would lead somewhere. She had seen all of Shinigami already and she knew that it would all be there just fine for another time. Her body had recovered from the sex but she probably was not ready for another rough round like what she went through at least twice already. Thinking that she had been mated with in front of both Jumi and Nymphia by the fox on two different times was embarrassing enough yet she minded less and less, with all of the sexual adventures she had been through so far. Being naked in the manor for a while had helped, too. For now, Mitsuko thought about one thing in particular: A chance to be alone with Jumi for a while. Same rules applied for Shinigami. She didn't mind if the fox did something with another. She just hoped to have her around again later. Shaking her head gently, she looked at Jumi. "We don't need to... Let's head back to the rooms together, Jumi...", Mitsuko whispered before giving her a kiss. Nall was still around but the message was probably vague enough for him to not understand too well. He was more relieved about the event with the girl being over. As Shinigami didn't mind being left with Umi, she moved close to her and looked at them, "I will find you both after this is over. Put that apple somewhere safe." she said.

Shinigami wasn't sure how their magical world worked but "trying to find if any of them went missing" sounded like a good idea. "If you find who she is, you might find where she comes from or how she got there. I wouldn't be surprised if she tried to join Death at the end of her own life...", she replied, both to Hikaru then to Jumi. "At least you have a good idea of what to do to find her...", she said, not focusing on the first part. Daughter of death or not, she still felt things that weren't exactly fitting of a bringer of death. Mitsuko was embracing her for a moment until Jumi went to touch her shoulder, making her look up to the fox then shift her hug to Jumi instead, holding her close and enjoying the moment. Once free, Shinigami focused more on Umi. "I don't mind letting you learn... Maybe Death wants me to give humans troubles but as fun as it is to toy with you all, it hasn't been bad to be with a couple of you.", she vaguely said, feeling like her random experience with Mitsuko and Jumi wasn't bad for what they meant to be at first. Being accepted by humans wasn't in her cards back then. As Umi spoke of her curiosity, Shinigami smiled but the question caught her slightly off guard. "I don't mind watchers. They might mind, though.", she replied, curious about who Umi meant. Not all humans might like what they see. "Mitsuko and Jumi can be there if they like.", she added, treating Umi like she treated Nymphia.

Well, it wouldn't just be posters. My character is a little more professional than that. I was thinking more like a tv ad of sort. Hologram screen ad in such fashion. For now, it's VERY late and I'm afraid that I have to go sleep. Unless I die then I won't be able to post at all. Some sort of big day tomorrow. I guess we will see how this goes later...

I could do an introductory post where the company in question releases the system to be used and characters can always go "I'd like to try that." We know how it is if some hologram ads present it. Just an idea anyway. Emiko could always be in the same scene. Just not the same "plot". Notice ads, notice maid girl who looks out of place, things like that.

A visit to the dive shop and yeah, have fun after that. Emiko was not planned to come as someone to dive into anyway. COULD be interesting. But yeah. I still have to think about what I want to do with her after this discussion but more and more, I could do something with this idea with some characters of mine. (The digital space mostly, for my part)

Well, that depends on the roleplayers. I don't make those stories. Just explaining how it works. You dive in their mind, feelings, past. It's up to the roleplayers to set what they see and how they find more about layers. Of course only few know about ar tonelico so I doubt it will be done in any way like I explained it but I guess it's good to dream. You don't have to spend an eternity in the cosmosphere. This is why Diving points were a thing in Ar tonelico. Every events you trigger cost DPs because such events put a strain on the dove partner's mind. After a while, they need a rest. But yeah, it's really up to the roleplayers. As for Emiko, she is optional. She can just exist as a character.

If we remove the whole reyvateil idea out and go more cyberpunk, that's basically it. A future way to help patients with mental health, therapy, etc. That's the benefit we could be thinking about. While it probably does other things but that's the main idea. It's no small fun trip since we dives into someone's memories and trauma, feelings, past, etc. To find about how we can help them. This could, in a way, be the update sale pitch for emiko. Since I think the only way to really find more about her (with how little she talks) is by diving.

More "npcs" can be found in a mindspace. Like, if a someone memory is important to the one being dove into. But yes, the diver is only a visitor, really. Also, generally a problem solver. One who seek to deepen a bond or help someone with fixing something. But yes, in one layer, a story unfolds based on feelings and memories. There are a few ways to do this but this is why the cosmosphere is so different from just "visiting one's mind". It's a complex world that can also serve as a therapy for the one being dove into. Get fixed and get stronger.

Point is, the subconscious version can sometimes think that they're playing a role in a memory. So they can have a fitting costume or body age for that memory. They are not necessarily WITH the diver in that mindscape. They can be wandering about if that's how their memories play. Only thing that change is how the diver affects that memory... The diver meets with that memory, learning about it. Sometimes, it can involve trying to help that memory solve a quest or a problem. In doing that, you deepen the bond with the person. If you stress the memory or consciousness of the person, it can lead to a bad end of sort and an ejection of the dive program. As I said, it's pretty complex. :P But yes, traumatic memories CAN be locked by a kind of mental lock. It might be a memory that they try to keep away or hidden to avoid its pain. A diver in this case can HELP ease the pain by solving the problem from within the soulspace. It can be used to mentally heal someone who is going through a trauma or has traumatic scars, etc...

Physically yes. BUT only in their soulspace. They're still "conscious" but inside that body. I don't exactly get the full technicality of it but it often comes with a personality and memory fitting of that form as well. Some soulspace event can get very weird but it's like a visit of someone's memory. They CAN or NOT recognize the diver at that moment, etc. Still, a part of their subconscious is aware of what is happening and can let it happen or not. It's very complex on that side but yeah, the person being dove into doesn't exactly control what their soulspace might show. But if the experience goes as planned without eject, it should deepen the bond between the person who was dove into and the diver.
