The girl Psiana was as professional as she could be, despite seeing surprising things, and tried to keep herself from showing specific reactions. She did not look very expressive but at the very least, she did show relief when Nymphia seemed to trust Shinigami and the others to go a certain way with them. She was not too worried about Nymphia being naked now and with the concerns in some of them's face, it might have been hard to discern if anyone had done anything with her. The mark however did worry her a little. "A temple not too far from here... We will escort you there. This is the least we can do for almost attacking you, or at least her, to save you. I think it would do her good to catch up.", she said. Nymphia smiled a little at the idea, having stayed near Shinigami for now. She soon went to some of her team but hugged the black one in particular, with the green one close to the two. The rest of them otherwise appeared content with the way things were. "Well, if Psiana says she's good, I don't mind.", the yellow one said, shrugging. The red one of their team stepped closer, "We might as well introduce ourselves now, should we not? I am Pyra. And then there is Aqua, Blitza, Glacia, Leafia, Psiana and Blacky. We could not come to the convention and Nymphia really wanted to go so we've sent her here.", she said to the other group. "Only, we didn't know this would happen...", Aqua said with some sadness. "We will have time to talk about it and other things, won't we...?", Psiana said and moved her hand toward the open world to let the group pass. "If you would... We will try and provide a good covering so nobody will notice you like this. We don't have to approach the city either but it will be a walk to turn around it.", she offered. Shinigami felt a little more trusting but still played carefully, looking at Jumi. "Well, that does not sound so bad...", Kaida then said. "If something happens to us because of these marks, they can at least take care of the problem.", she concluded, not having all of her head right now. "Feel free to talk to any one of us... Ask questions if you like.", Glacia then offered as they started going.

"Not a demon...?", the mermaid girl wondered then focused more on Shinigami, which she didn't do before. Looking at her up and down, anyone in their right mind would call such claim a lie. Nymphia herself stayed close to her but didn't look afraid. The strange thing was that she did not look like a puppet either... Emotionally, their friend was there. From the fox's ears to her paws and her tail, she did not look like an usual demon but demons could take this form certainly. Still, if the ice magic girl's feelings were correct, something DID feel off about this. "I don't think she is lying but we don't know what these marks are doing to them...", she commented. "Why are you naked...?", the red one asked, curious. It was a silly question, though. "More importantly, why are they so clean if they just ran from demons after... you know...", the yellow one asked, doubting their words a little. "They don't look related to the one who flew out just before.", the icy color one remarked. Shinigami remained tense, not knowing what they would do but to answer them, "She's the one who did that but that would be hard to explain in a way you understand.", she replied, pointing at Mitsuko who was carried by Jumi. The one named Blacky looked the most worried for Nymphia right now, along with the green one, but hearing Jumi say that they would be fine felt somewhat relieving even if they did not know what to believe right now. The mermaid spoke again, "Psiana... You can find the truth. If she lets us find out what is true then maybe we can appease our worries.". The pink one nodded and walked closer to them. "I am Psiana... I can glimpse into your mind to find the truth. Will you let me do so?", she asked calmly. Shinigami bared her fangs, though... It could be a trap. "I assure you that Psiana will not hurt you. Not unless you give her a reason to fight back. We want to know, for Nymphia's sake...", the green one then said. Shinigami looked at the others but lowered her guard slowly, showing that she was not completely hostile. "Do your worst...", she replied to her. The pink girl came closer and reached to her but did not touch her. With her magic, all of what they could see was Psiana seemingly reading her mind laid bare for a moment while everyone waited impatiently with unease. After a while, she finally lowered her arm. "If I did not see it, I would not believe it. This is a lot to take in but she speaks the truth. She is, to put it loosely, a magical girl's creation somehow. Nymphia trusts you... She... well... I won't say further.", she told her, figuring it was best not reveal their private moment and how they met otherwise. Her team would trust her words. "Our apologies for being careful...", she finally said to her, getting a nod from Shinigami. She then turned to Jumi and Mitsuko. "Are you going to be alright?", she asked, seeing their states.

The magical girls' faces showed confusion, shock or sadness, soon turned into anger at the sight of Shinigami. Nymphia herself had a smile mixed with some confusion as well from their reactions. Turning to look back to Jumi, she nodded. "It's my team...!", she exclaimed but while she looked happy, her team in question did not look too overjoyed. A green haired girl approached slowly and carefully. "What happened to you, Nymphia...? Is this why you were...", she started, biting her lip. Seeing her naked so casually with what could be defined as a fox demon with scary eyes in her opinion did not look good. Worse, they all could see the mark on all of them except for the fox. The long black haired one of them who was lightly dressed pointed toward them. "My dear girl was taken by that demon, that's what. We came too late... I will not forgive you.", she said with pain in her voice. Something that she really believed. Her eyes showed that she wanted to attack but Nymphia was in the way. Plus, it was risky. "Calm down, Blacky... Losing your temper now will not help her.", the pink one then said, seeming more calm even if she showed some disdain for Shinigami regardless. Nymphia blinked but looked at them all. "Wait... Miss Shinigami did not do this to us...! She helped us. I can explain...!", she tried to defend the fox, standing between. The yellow coated one shrugged, observing them, "Why should we believe your words now? You might still be spellbound by that demon. I say we pummel her and free them.", she said as she hit her palm with her other hand. Shinigami stepped closer, defensively putting an arm in front of Nymphia. "Try it, just to see.", she snarled. "Curious...", the light blue one then said, "Why would this demon try and protect her? Or is she trying to protect her prize? But I don't know. Something is off with this one.", she commented, eyeing the others as these girls' situation was strange. With Jumi keeping Mitsuko close as well, it did feel different from usual demon business. The flaming red one shook her head lightly, "Why even think about it? She's a monster just like any other, isn't she? We came because this is where Nymphia was last sensed... She's here now and we're saving her.", she said, holding a long sword ready for a fight. She was not moving just yet, however, making sure that others agreed. "Let's not be hasty...", a mermaid themed like magical girl spoke, not willing to trust Shinigami but not wanting the girls hurt either. She first approached carefully with a smile, "How about we talk with them, first? Psiana can read their mind as well.", she said then looked at Jumi. "Let us hear you... Please tell us what is going on here."

Shinigami was thinking about it. Something annoyed her about Reika but she had been the one to create the perfect beast she was... One who died to make it happen. At the very least Nymphia looked as fine as she did the first time she had met her. "...Don't involve demons anymore. Though, I might have made a friend among them. Don't seek to hurt any of these girls again for my sake. No more causing troubles for them.", she warned the Reaper who nodded quietly as response. From what began as a game of death turned into Shinigami finding her way around humans even if that part was not set at all but if Reika didn't cause too much troubles, there probably was no reason not to see her again sometimes. The reaper smiled softly, taking a good look at the group but mostly at her fox, "Well, time for you to go, then. I might see you again. Be careful when you leave...", she warned before she vanished. Kaida eyed the others, "That sounded ominous, didn't it? We're still underground and my dragon can't be above anymore.", she said, thinking. Shinigami turned to them, still holding Nymphia's hand. "She would not have done anything... Not anymore. Let's go...", she replied and began going, all leaving naked but most of the group did not care right now. The fox also made sure that Jumi and Mitsuko were fine to go as they went back up the tunnel like path that went under the house above. That event was finally over. Nothing would appear to be odd on their way, even as they made it to the basement of the house. Nobody or anything was there but they might be able to hear voices and not only one from the outside. Shinigami's ears twitched from the sound before she eyed the others. Nymphia however seemed more alert suddenly, listening to the voices before she dashed ahead on her own. A movement to stop her came too late, making the fox sigh before she followed her at a normal pace. Once outside, Nymphia could be seen just a bit further from the entrance while seven more figures further, seemingly magical girls, stared at them. Shinigami turned to Jumi. "You would not know them, do you?", she asked her softly.

Kaida seemed to curse under her breath as she noticed and remembered the mark. At least she had regained this much sanity from the healing. Nymphia seemed bothered as well but less open to let her mind fleet into unwanted possibilities. With what Mitsuko had done, it was like they never had sex. No lust except from what the mark may do to them as effect. Shinigami shrugged as she heard Jumi and walked closer. "Don't you worry your pretty head... I will keep you safe. Whatever she did also involved me. I feel better than ever now.", she said, pointing to Mitsuko. "I will not try a gate again after what that demon did. Besides, seeing you all walk like this sound more interesting.", she teased, smiling a bit even. Reika merely watched for now while Mitsuko appeared to be unconscious at this moment. Kaida was not sure what to think of Jumi's question since she herself rarely ever experienced such event as what she was remembering from this fleeting dream that was not really one. Things that was done to her or that she had done. She knew the risks... These memories were a warning. Nymphia however tried not to let it get to her but the sight of the others felt a little embarrassing with what they had done before in the bath. "I-I don't know how to feel about this... Miss Shinigami...", she shyly said, making the fox remember their time more with a smirk, "Back to yourself?", Shinigami questioned while moving closer to her. The approach did not seem to help her mood, now seeing the fox more clearly. Shinigami leaned forward as Nymphia was still sitting on the ground then poked her forehead. "No playing for you. you had me worried already...". The ribbon fairy blushed red in protest, "I-I was not thinking about...~!", she started but Shinigami leaned closer, "Besides, you already had your time with me back there. You are not safe just yet.", she continued, patting her head. Nymphia stared at the fox, remembering something about what she mentioned, soon covering her face with her hands. "...Aaah no, I-I did not mean to...~", she could only say, amusing Shinigami. Reika sighed. "You really did make some good friends, didn't you...?" Shinigami helped Nymphia up at her pace, pulling her hand to make her follow toward Jumi and Mitsuko. Kaida did so on her own while Nall stuck close to them now. "They're an interesting bunch. It's fun to be with them.", she said, not quite speaking how she felt about it, if she even understood her feelings. "I see...", Reika replied, raising a hand to snap as a symbol on Shinigami appeared shortly, breaking to pieces before a new symbol formed and disappeared, "There, you're free. The link with you is gone... You can be yourself, my perfect goddess. Mao might miss you, though...", the reaper said, "You can always summon her if you wish to see one of us. Mao will surely answer your call...", she specified to the fox.

Shinigami found herself surprised by the turn of events but was mostly put off by Mitsuko's different behavior. If it was the acting of a god or goddess, it at least did not look too bad for Mitsuko but the exchange with Reika seemed to have put a stop to the reaper's demeanor. The hug that the fox felt almost was more pleasant than what else she otherwise was fated to suffer. Feeling her restraints finally let go but not without more words from Reika, she stayed down for a moment before the one who had created her; A girl who had died for the sole purpose of bringing her to life. "You made me perfect but that girl inside Mitsuko's body is right. I don't need your power, I have mine...", Shinigami then replied. Ignoring Mitsuko who shifted her focus to the others after she seemingly made sure Reika wouldn't make a move, the fox instead focused on the reaper while she slowly stood back on her paws. "You did what you thought was right and I did the same. Being with humans is not so bad. I can't understand everything about them but they helped me when they could have killed me instead. Playing with them has been interesting... Besides, you made me strong. I can take whatever they go through...", Shinigami continued, proud of who she was herself, similarly to Reika's pride. "I don't think I can forgive using that girl, though...", she said, turning away as she recalled what Nymphia had done for her, including bath. Reika looked away as well, knowing it was a daring move even for her, but no words would change what was done now. Mitsuko was already preparing something and after confirming with Jumi, she eyed toward Shinigami as well. "Alright... I think it's time, then. Stay still while I relieve you of your pain. Your bodies and minds will feel renewed. Nall, Jumi, please take care of her for me...", she said calmly while looking at them. The fox tilted her head but Mitsuko proceeded, starting to shine with a bright light. A magic circle then appeared all around everyone while her angelic wings spread wide. Heavenly magic then poured through them, restoring and cleaning their bodies but also their minds to erase the pain. The energy would feel most relaxing or refreshing, lasting long enough to purify them completely except for their marks and their memories. Even Shinigami had been included and the feeling of it did feel confusing for her at first but seeing how it healed her even from the inside, she remained quiet. Reika could only watch quietly as well, wondering if it would do for them what she said it would. As it finally reached its end, the bright light faded to leave the place in its natural light while Mitsuko lost her magical form and soon began to drop to the floor. At this moment, even Kaida and Nymphia appeared to be in better shape although all of them were still naked, the fox included. It felt natural to her, though. Nymphia first opened her eyes, needing a moment to realize what was happening or what had happened. Her memories were there but she no longer felt the trauma of the event, except for the mark. As she was mostly back to herself, feeling naked made her blush with others being there but she still relaxed seeing that her three friends of before were there. Kaida barely changed anything regarding that. She could not tell who Reika was, though. "...I feel great. Did we dream...?", she had to ask, wondering if her memories were real. "Unfortunately, I don't think we did...", Kaida spoke next, not feeling as shy to be naked but still realizing that something was amiss. Shinigami smirked, relieved to see them healthy.

Hellhound waited patiently in the car and only observed Akemi from the inside, wondering how well that went. Seeing the smile of her friend however made the hound return a similar smile of her own, added with her tail wagging gently. "She is? Good...", she replied to the first part. The name alone sounded mythical and it made Hellhound assume that there was no way this person would not be able to heal Hikari. The attention Akemi brought to her abdomen made her ears lower down, though. It was not out of shame or regret but it reminded her that she had played roughly and without holding back when they fought and she had hurt her friend badly, as she was herself. Difference was she healed quickly. Hellhound was quiet for a moment, overthinking about what a healer would think if they knew where the wound came from and her being the source living with the one she had wounded. "Do you think she will try to play with Hellhound? Magical humans don't like me so she might. She is your friend so I don't want to hurt her.", she told Akemi with a concerned voice. Of course, in the best situation, neither sides were going to try to fight each others so Hellhound would simply behave as usual. Hopefully, the hound would not be mistaken for a demon... The implication of it left a bad taste as she felt she was not related to them. In the best case, it would be another human willing to give her headpats. Maybe...

Hellhound waited patiently for Akemi to be done, keeping an eye around while hanging out for a bit. She was not too worried of being caught there and even if she was, they would be gone soon. As she would be hidden in the car, chances were she would not be in troubles anyway. Hearing Hikari speak about the both of them made the hound even more determined to try and help her. Once she finally saw Akemi climb out to come against her back once more, she held on a little tighter so they didn't fall. Looking back and making sure she was alright and secure, Hellhound gave a smile back to her. As the words were spoken for her to bring them back to the car, she readied up steadily against the wall. Seemingly calculating her action, she bent her legs while turning around so her paws were against the wall. With the least possible power, she coiled her legs and only formed a minimum amount of fiery energy on her paws before launching herself with a slightly blast that thankfully only barely marked the wall. Akemi would feel herself be in the air for a moment as Hellhound flew toward the parking area as quickly as humanly possible. "It will be rough, Akemi... Hold me tight.", she warned as they approached the roof of the parking. Using her four limbs, she tried to land in a way to slow the force of the fall for her before she looked back to make sure she was alright. Either way, she soon started to leave. Now, all that remained was to climb down to the level where the car was. This was done easily by Hellhound going to the edge of the roof then climbing down the walls where they could see inside each of the levels as they went. Trying to recognize the right place, she kept climbing down until the recognizable car was in sight but she made sure that nobody was there before she finally climbed up to safety. Only then did she stand still and gave Akemi the time to find her ground. "We did it. Are you hurt...?", she asked out of pure concern, knowing she was herself capable of leaping to places but to carry a human along meant she could not land recklessly. Hurting herself was alright but not hurting Akemi.

Shinigami started struggling as Reika, so casually, kept playing with her like she was nothing but a mere distraction. Her fingers still ran so lovingly on her body, making it hard not to feel good. Of course, she resisted sexual attacks well enough so this was nothing but floating pleasure right now but her feelings were mixed with anger. Reika grinned as she focused mostly on Jumi. "Oh it wasn't. Micori was my plan but her friend showing up was not included. Look at you all... Shinigami alone was spared, or at least from their enchantment, only to watch you get raped I imagine. Oh but her body says that she did feel pleasure, a lot of it... Micori, I would guess. But not only...", she teased, making Shinigami angrier. The reaper took a good look at Jumi, smiling softly. "Shinigami had to see for herself what it's like to be with humans. Your world is one of pain and suffering... She will inevitably deal with you all being the victims of those craving to make you their playthings. She had to feel it all to understand that her place is not with you. She was the perfect beast of death, gifted with the power of a god.", she told them, showing some annoyance of sort as she pulled her fingers from Shinigami to lick them with satisfaction. "The power you speak of was nothing short of terrifying. I think even she understood it.", Mitsuko then replied, "Unlike then, her power now is truly hers and equaling those of a human gifted with magic." The valkyrie's words made Reika sneer at her as she snapped some portals open around Shinigami, "You think she should be at the same level as them? She is mine, I made her. I died to become what was needed to bring her to life.", she said to Mitsuko who stood still, observing the fox who was close to feel something again if she guessed right. "And you would rape her to keep her with you...? Although, I do not doubt that she would enjoy it but I think you are too obsessed with her. Somehow, she got attached to Mitsuko and Jumi enough to give up on your gift. Using Nymphia has made her despise you, even... You failed.", she calmly replied. Reika however madly aimed her arm toward her, portals opening. Mitsuko did not move an inch as tentacles rushed toward them but stopped a certain distance in hesitation, causing at least Nall to back off quickly. Still, Reika could not do it... Her hand even shook a bit as she stood there uncertain. She could easily subdue them, break them or even kill them but it would only make things worse. "...You win...", she finally conceded, making all of her portals disappear. With a defeated look, she turned to Shinigami and awkwardly hugged her while still upside down and kissed her thigh before she stepped back and freed her. "I am proud of what you are... I made you perfect but you're not mine anymore.", she said a little more softly, in a pathetic attempt to finally sound rational. Mitsuko observed her for a short moment then turned to Jumi. "...I can help you all feel better if you wish.", she offered, glancing at Nall before turning her attention back to Jumi. "Mitsuko is at the brink of losing herself. She was not ready for so much at once... I will make sure to restore her but I can offer you all the same and heal your bodies and minds to erase the trauma from what was done to you. Your memories will remember and you will have to deal with these marks a little longer but you will be able to walk back home like it never happened.", she explained to her. Nall still felt concerned, mostly as he watched Mitsuko. "However, I can only do this once with my remaining strength... It's all I can offer..."

Understandable. I have ideas but they just don't seen "epic" enough for a 50th challenge. It just seems new or out of the ordinary to me. A story over a span of years seems original for what this is about. I am trying to think about something more than just a theme or etc. (I admit I am a big overthinker, though. But you know this. XD) The span thing could also bring an idea of "What about time travel"? sort of ideas? Like... You have a character travel to the past or future. Oh! What about... A story with a character you had when you started ED, meeting a character you have NOW? Like a kind of "Sega Ages" event thing? That sounds like an epic thing right there! :D So to sum up... We take one of our first characters and we write a story about them meeting one of the newest characters we have. Something like that. A story about your history in ED. Well, dunno if that would be epic to everyone's eyes but it sounds like a fun idea to me, at the very least. Like a kind of different universe clash story.

It depends what you define as epic. There are so many themes available out there. It could be an event style thing too like write mini stories championship. Winners climb to the next tier. But if we simply want a challenge, maybe something that was never done? Beyond the "random sexual fantasy in this or that situation." Something more epic?
