  1. Shinigami listened to his opinions or observations on the matter of her questions, feeling like he was figuring her out pretty easily. He saw through her hypothetical questions, stating his analysis of what she could or not have done to Mitsuko or Jumi. A part of it certainly impressed her, not that she had any intentions to deceive him or anyone there. The only power that she had offered to Jumi once left no trace behind as it was nothing but a borrowed power. Demons sounded like irritating annoyances but they would find that she is not easy to corrupt. Still, she started to understand what kind of threat the girls really were against. Different means but similar dangers of being violated or raped by manipulative enemies... After taking another bite of her food and swallowing it, she drew a smile, "I'm glad you see things for what they are, then. It will make things easier... I guess mistaking me for a demon is what made them believe that I wanted to force them under my control but I was merely enjoying myself. My mother would have preferred that I take their souls but I did not feel like it... In fact, I am here because these two were there. My mother might have taken a liking to making me her pet. Besides, I have no reasons to lie now. I am still alive thanks to them...", Shinigami said but also admitted. A demon might find shame to admit such things but the fox believed that there was a connection to these two. There was nothing to lie about. If Hikaru's power could see so much, it did make things easier. Shinigami would nod to the last part, acknowledging that she was at least trusted for the time being. Slowly, she sat a little more properly and lowered her paws back to the ground. "Put me against a demon and I will prove myself. I do not intend to stop fighting but I will not fight humans if they leave me alone. Jumi and Mitsuko have enemies to deal with and I do not intend to sit back and watch.", she told Hikari and Umi. Human cultures and beliefs aside, Shinigami still enjoyed putting up a fight. She only needed to direct her energy in the right direction. If being tested would help toward that goal then she didn't see anything wrong in speaking out about it.
  2. Shinigami figured that the language would not ring any bells for humans. She had gone far enough that she would not back out. "It's the name for Death. The one who reaps souls. In the same way, my name is ነⶴጎክጎፏልጮጎ or, in a way you can understand, Shinigami. I believe that this name has a similar meaning to you humans...", she said, feeling that Mitsuko and possibly Jumi knew. Whether it was or not intended, she was the signed fox of death, daughter of Death itself, or so she claimed. Created by Death, in its irony of giving life to a bringer of death. She didn't know if she could trust Hikaru but what could she lose now except the life that animated her? Her mother was not a being of high relevance to them, anyway... Keeping her position and paws raised in comfort, Shinigami ate what food she had before she leaned in to grab another piece. "But back to what I am, isn't it? As alive as you are, I presume. I can fight with magic but so can you. Our differences of powers, though, you will have to find out on your own. Otherwise, how different I am from you is what you see in front of you.", the fox said while moving her toes, her ears and her tail, being oddly cute to Mitsuko for a short moment. Playful, certainly, but such was the nature of Shinigami anyway. "So the question really is... Can you trust me not to kill you all? Am I a threat?", she asked with a certain amusement, imagining that this was the outstanding question on everyone's mind. Eating her food, Shinigami behaved in a way that was mostly calm and not threatening, even stretching herself slowly. The racial difference still proved to be an issue, if she took what Jumi had said at face value. Everyone feared her because she was different. The fox certainly had her history with being a threat of sort but she had put that behind her. Being among humans as a friend was a new concept to her but it was not one that sounded impossible. Mitsuko, Jumi, Nymphia and even this Alexandrine... All had treated her rather well or had helped her somehow. This approach of enjoying things with them was something that she could get used to. Maybe even fighting demons and common enemies would sound good.
  3. Nall looked pleased with the answer, looking forward to having some of his favorite food. Best was not to eat too much before getting that so he would wait for now. At least Mitsuko calmed down, as the situation looked friendly so far. They were well received as guessed and nobody batted an eye over Shinigami making herself comfortable. Perhaps she worried for nothing. The conversation seemed to turn around Shinigami for the most now and, like Jumi, she trusted her to not be hostile toward them. It was best for her to eat and not say anything for the moment. Surely, the vixen was more than capable of answering questions on her own, without their help. Unless, of course, she needed it. Hopefully, she would ask then. Shinigami, for now, still looked surprised to see Hikaru figure or try to figure her out. He did not say anything vague to the possibility of her being a demon; He could see that she was not one. This alone drew a gentle grin on her face, simply feeling amused over trying to trick anyone about what she may be. "So you see... Good, then. We will be saving time.", she replied, finally taking a piece of food while staying in this position for now. Whoever this man was, something about him picked her curiosity. He was not like the rest of humans but she could not really guess what was not normal about him. Maybe that could help toward a mutual understanding, if at least between her and him. It was not all but it was something. Not being labelled a monster or a guardian, whatever that was, pleased her as well. She was a beast for sure but she didn't see herself as a monster which, to Shinigami, was more like demon creatures or whatever tentacle beast like the one that had raped her. The next question however was pretty interesting but made her show a certain hesitation for a couple of seconds. If she didn't reveal who she was now, could she be trusted? But if she did, would they be afraid of her? Something about him, though... Her gaze had drifted away but soon returned to him, "I'm the daughter of ጋቹልፕⶴ, or her creation if you will. But right now? A mortal fox left to die among humans for being too friendly with them.", she said honestly. Shinigami was born to serve but her interest in enjoying some good time and not make use of the relics more pushed her mother to not be pleased with her. What she was exactly, she did not know but a fox was the word that defined her best. She could bleed, she could die and she also suffered the same weaknesses as any other mortals, including the possibility of being raped. Being a futa was both a gift and a curse for pleasure and sexual assault, though. On a more basic side of her existence, she also proved that she needed to feed as she was eating a piece of the food that was offered to them. She also required sleep, like any other living creature. Born to be a goddess but she had chosen to do things a bit differently.
  4. Mitsuko continued for a bit, if nothing stopped her. A sound however soon made her look the other way toward the new arriving person. Once he had introduced himself, she looked slightly nervous but did not move from her spot just yet. "Oh... It's nice to meet you. I am Mitsuko.", she said for herself, figuring he already knew Jumi already. "This is Nall and our friend, Shinigami.". Once named, Nall raised up and sat properly, being this little creature on the table. Shinigami however took a good look at him but changed nothing about her current behavior. If anything, she had nodded after she had been introduced. The head of this temple finally had revealed himself but she was clueless to what he would do for them. Nall's eyes seemed to shine brighter when more food was being brought to them while Mitsuko looked relieved to find something they could feast on. "Thank you for this... I would not to make requests, after what you've prepared already...", Mitsuko said shyly, to which Nall looked back to her and then to Hikaru and the members, "Do you have fish? I could really eat one right now.", he replied, seeing as he could probably ask but Mitsuko sighed, "Nall... We can't be rude...", she plead, hoping that it wouldn't bother them. Preparing so much food for them was already nice of them. Shinigami, while interested in the food, eyed the man while sitting comfortably and raising her paws to lean one of them against the table. Mitsuko panicked slightly, hoping they would not take her manners wrong but Shinigami ignored her to keep her gaze on the leader, "So you're Hikaru? You were told about me, then? I don't do this often but if you must ask me something, I might be open to give answers... For the sake of being clear about why I'm even here to start with.", she said, as normally as she could make her words sound. Her lack of human social skills was flagrant but she did not mean any offense by it. If he was the leader of this human base, best was to clear things out, regardless of who was in the room right now. The vixen was certainly carefree and a bit teasing in this position but Mitsuko worried that it could be considered inappropriate.
  5. Mitsuko got to do things she never even dreamed to do. So much that casually kissing Shinigami was almost something she wanted to do more of, if the fox let her. The valkyrie looked at Umi, her words to her made her blush but she nodded. "Alright... I'm glad to hear it. I will ask if I find questions to ask about. Thank you for giving her a chance...", she said while giving a smile to Shinigami who blinked, not fully understanding why this girl was still this kind to her. The amount of hugs she had felt, even during her punishment, that affection for her and kisses. No humans ever treated her this way. Even Jumi had fought with her, partly because of her, yet she was still there. Doubts or not, she could have left anytime she wanted. Returning her attention to Jumi, Mitsuko noticed her intention and opened her mouth to bite on the roll. She may have cared about doing something embarrassing at one time but with what she had went through at the manor, having to be naked in front of Jumi and even Nall for a short time that seemed like a long time, she felt a bit less shy than a normal girl would be. If she was required to, she probably would undress right there for one of them if she was asked. Shinigami at least witnessed the moment with a smirk without bad intentions. The two girls being this loving felt good. The vixen grabbed a roll and ate it while Nall kept his attention on food for the moment, minding his own business and ignoring the lovers.
  6. Nall could only agree to Umi but he hoped that Lenneth was stalled enough for the valkyrie to prepare, at least more properly. "And this is why I'll keep her safe. I like her... She recklessly chose to trust me and I may owe her for that. Maybe what's happening is not all bad after all... Well, the two of them are all I've got now.", Shinigami said, speaking of Mitsuko and Jumi. She could not really count the cat as he was merely a pet of Mitsuko, not really knowing of his history or of whoever Althena was. Jumi might have looked more cautious toward her but Mitsuko otherwise treated her captor like just another human. Or maybe she just didn't care that the fox was NOT human, which made things even more interesting in a way. Shinigami still listened to Jumi after asking her question to her. Jumi really was Mitsuko's mentor of sort. Not only a friend but a guide to her. As the fairy put it herself, a partner. It meant that the fox had two potential allies, as long as the two of them agreed with the way to treat her. Hard to say what Jumi thought of her but her noticeable wariness toward her at times told her that she was not fond of her as much as the valkyrie was. Still, they were soon interrupted by Mitsuko walking in slowly, her gaze toward Jumi. "I'm... glad to hear, Jumi. Sorry I walked away, I only needed a moment and I couldn't help but hear what you said.", she said with an affectionate smile before she came closer, taking a bit to look at everyone. "I've made a decision.", Mitsuko said as she moved toward Shinigami, knowing fully well that Umi was there now. This alone motivated her to push forward. "I will do my best to help Shinigami. I don't want her to be hurt. I know she can defend herself but I like to think that she needs us, now...", she said before she leaned to the fox who was wondering what she would do. Without hesitation, Mitsuko moved in to give her a kiss, only making Shinigami confused but not resistant to it. Once Mitsuko stood back, she looked at Umi, "I'm not corrupted or forced. I love her.", she said sincerely before she went to Jumi and carefully went to sit on her laps, hugging her closely. "I also love Jumi. Both of them matter to me.", she told her.
  7. Hellhound did not really look at her at first, still amazed at the outside world flying by. A part of that was because she was not worried about what Akemi could do to her. She WAS naked right now and her butt was in full access to her friend. Her tail was a little in the way but its legs went toward the back of the car. Human rules didn't really concern her until she was forced to obey them. She had done lot of sexual things where she was not supposed to, at least. The hound knew well enough that she could easily attract attention or at least distract her opponents or destabilize them. In this case, she did not mean to taunt but since Akemi was seemingly showing an interest, she was not worried about letting her touch. Her skin may have been dark but it didn't change that her womanhood in question was very visible. Despite her teasing nature, she didn't look aroused or anything yet. Being naked, if she could not cover herself, was as normal as breathing for humans. Hellhound may be sexually active but she also knew not to let her feelings get the best of her with random thoughts. Her mind was oddly innocent for one who took a pleasure to have sex with her victims but she also shifted from a sexual hunter to a silly goof depending on her situation. If she was not being aroused by the fact that Akemi could probably do anything to her right now, her tail still wagged slightly but thankfully didn't get out of hand with its movement. When a hand finally felt her tail, Hellhound instantly tried to calm it down. To Akemi, she didn't even look back and seemingly had fun with looking outside. As her butt was felt, it moved ever so slightly, as it responded to the feeling. So far, so good... Clearly, the angel was having some fun touching her and the hound didn't expect her to touch her anywhere in particular. Only feeling her hand on her skin was good enough to feel good. The bump on the road didn't feel like much at first but the touch had shifted to her weak point as a result and a very soft gasp escaped her lips. She was not sure if that was an intended action or not but she enjoyed it as much. Akemi would feel an unusual warmth coming from there. Finally looking back but not doing anything to stop her, she still smiled. "Does it feel good to touch Hellhound...? I let nobody touch there but for you, it's okay. You're friend and not prey... Prey can't touch me unless they want to be punished.", she explained, defining how she sometimes hunt for sexual pleasure or maybe it's simply part of her playing with who she attacked. A dominating figure in the world, which was probably expected for someone like her. Still, she did not mind Akemi feeling her, leaving out all human expectations of decency. To her, it was like a game. She liked to feel good and any reactions to her nudity probably amused her but she would still cover herself if Akemi nicely helped her do so.
  8. Shinigami remained quiet until Umi was back. Thankfully, Jumi did the business to warn her about Mitsuko, wherever she had gone. "Things are not easy for her. Can't say I understand it all but she did look troubled. With Lenneth after her, I understand. Odin doesn't want a chosen of Althena to interfere with his plans.", Nall said like it was normal but soon food came up and his eyes shone bright. "I must eat...!", he simply said as he went to pick a roll. Shinigami for herself, raised an eyebrow but picked a roll and replied, not caring that Umi was there to hear it. "...So this Lenneth cat is also the pet of some god? How fitting... I hope my mother at least made her suffer. Next time I see her, she's dead...", she stated a bit upset. Nall stopped in the middle of eating his roll, eyeing the fox, "Mitshuko ish the one shupposed to fight her.", he said, a little clumsily before swallowing what he was eating, "Althena sent the sword down to her so she could defeat her but she is not ready yet... Lenneth didn't give her any time to prepare. She is very strong but um, you were already hurt by her so you know.", he continued but shifted his gaze to Jumi as well. With all the strange things that had happened, Nall only expected to find Mitsuko. Seeing Jumi as a friend of hers was normal in a human way but everything that had happened since the interference of Shinigami was far from planned. What he had seen at the manor was even pretty strange for humans. As for Shinigami, it gave some answer as to why she looked the way she did transformed. The sword in question didn't look all that special but maybe if she grew stronger. "Well, whatever... I guess I have to do what I said and protect her. And you? What's your intentions with her?", the vixen said but then asked to Jumi. She knew the two were together, clearly, but she knew nothing of the lives outside of what had happened back at the manor. "I heard her say that she intends to protect you. She's cute but easily vulnerable...", she said with a grin of sort, not just meaning in battle. Mitsuko was quite easy to break and made to squirm in pleasure. Twice, even... Shinigami knew the risks of a sexual assault on their bodies. Nall only blinked, not being sure what she meant so he continued to eat while Shinigami herself felt more protective, in a way. She knew the power of Lenneth and protecting them was the only reason she had gone out there to risk her life. A miscalculated attack that could have ended worse for her. Lenneth was not the kind to attack with pleasure. It was nothing but destruction in her path. How was this Hikaru going to help them with at least the issue of her being with them? For now, they waited for both him to come and Mitsuko to come back. Surely, she would not take too long. If she wanted to find more about how to solve this issue, she had to be there to hear it. She would need to eat as well, after that long walk. Mitsuko tried to find relief by walking around the temple. Her legs hurt by the walk they had done to reach this place already but she just needed to regain her composure. She was not alone. She had to remember that Jumi and Nall were there with her but also Shinigami now. These were more friends than she usually hanged with. Two very new kinds of friend, three even since Jumi was more than just a girl. She was a magical girl who was used to this world but she could as well be her mentor. Alone, she would be scared a lot worse but now... Perhaps she would be fine. A shade of doubt haunted her mind but it was best that she would come back for now. Slowly but surely, she would make her way back toward the room.
  9. Shinigami looked at Jumi but didn't look upset toward her or anything. Maybe she had not understood properly but this was what she had intended to do. "I didn't plan to fight the world. Not anymore, at least. I gave up on that life to protect the two of you but maybe you forgot that, didn't you? I will defend myself but I don't intend to fight anyone on a whim.", she said honestly, not wanting to pick a fight for fun. Not with a human, anyway. Unless one of them was looking for a fight then they would get what they paid for. Still, hearing that the both of them intended to find a way for peace at least made her feel slightly thankful even if she would not admit that, at this time. Nall remained quiet, waiting but following the exchange. The fox looked annoyed but her face said a lot by itself, showing a painful look of being stuck in a situation she was not used to. She may have switched sides for Mitsuko and Jumi but she had spent quite a long time exploring human ways before that and yet, all of this was still new to her. For now, she only sat with her arms and legs crossed on her chair, not looking anywhere in particular. She was trying to relax while she waited, not wanting to bother the two others anymore with her complaining, especially while Mitsuko was gone. If anything, she was finding out more about the structures and cultures of humans, randomly wondering if more of them enjoyed bathing as much as she did herself. What else could she learn? Mitsuko meanwhile, needed a walk on her own but didn't go extremely far. She stayed around the temple, at least. With all of this situation and what she dragged the others through, out of random love for a fox she just had met, hoping she would not end regretting what troubles that would bring. Lenneth also stressed her, after the first day she had seen her in her room, miraculously surviving an attack that was supposed to kill her that day. Even Shinigami almost died fighting her. Mitsuko felt like she was bringing lot of troubles to this new world and she didn't like it. The magical experience had turned bad quickly but maybe things would get better. Still, she had reasons to be anxious and only needed some time to think.
  10. Nah, Mino is not this kind of person (I don't think so). Midnight clubs was not aimed at being Cyberpunk but this one is. But other than that? It's still a night club doing sexy stuff. Except MC is a bit larger in space and roles fitting for the sections and areas. I presume this bar is more a random cheap night club in the middle of a dystopic crap city. Well, I am not trying to devalue the effort or "advertise" another club, obviously. I know why this one has more activity and the other doesn't (Considering which gang joined this one and not the other one) but yeah XD. I suppose a night club doesn't have to be very complicated. (Val-halla style). I'm just trying to find where to fit in, in this setting.
  11. All I'm saying is that this club is literally that one, cyberpunk aside. It's a clone, if I can call it that. (Which is funny, in a way). Only difference is midnight club was way more developed. We "could" always just limit this club to the bar or etc but it would be a cheapened experience, imo. But as it is yeah, this club is a clone with some small differences.
  12. I meant something like this, which btw is exactly what this club is or about except Arish's original club was more developed for all situations: It's about the same, maybe cyberpunk aside. Arish took care of public rest space where clients can drink and chill, get close, etc. There's also the VIP rooms for more private times before two or so users. All of that was planned in big for all kind of users. Feel free to look and take inspiration because there's lot of good stuff in there.
  13. Well, if Arish comes back, she'd do well being her usual role. Makes me wonder if we're supposed to have rooms where people can relax or play in, etc.
  14. Okay, I figured there would be a misunderstanding with F2F but I meant the whole "Free to fuck" business, not Female to Female XD.
  15. This is a part of what worries me with this setting. I know there's a kind of "F2F" going on but both the characters that I had in mind, while in places where sex had its place, I'm not sure if they would fit the whole "You can fuck anyone you like, anytime and anywhere you like". Arish by example took care of rooms (Like an inn) made for fun times.
  16. Tails is fair. He's a genius inventing plenty of things and devices. I do have female Tailsia in Troubled Souls, just saying. Sadly, can't use her here. :P For what I believe to be cyberpunk, I have to aim for edgier, darker, more science fiction. So far, only Bastet applies. Or maybe Arish or Warning...
  17. Inspector gadget is considered a cyborg in his series, in case this is not entirely clear. He's basically a half human at this point because his body is comprised of all the gadgets he uses. I don't see it as very different from what we were talking about. It's all the same "Changing your body so it use technology to do something you normally can't". The way Inky makes it sounds can be interpreted as more subtle, though. Like, a chip or something. A character of mine somewhere does have such a feature in order to do something she normally can't. She IS taken in another roleplay but yeah. It's complicated though. This opens the door to SO many choices if I decided to go more complex. I'll admit cyberpunk has never been my roleplay style either (Despite enjoying a couple of stories I've mentioned before). Like, I really enjoy Rebecca but I doubt I'd ever be able to pull this kind of thing on a character of mine. Then there's cyberpunk himawari. (Yes, I know the real character is obviously not her but she looks so alike. It's insane)
  18. Yeeeah, no. I don't picture any of my characters wanting to mess with their own body for semi-features. I get that in cyberpunk in general, lot of "people" seem to make very terrible or otherwise pretty questionable choice when it comes to their body. (And people do that IRL too) but I wanna stick to something a bit more natural and/or normal? If I have a robot, it will not have questionable features either. I might sound boring with that choice but I can't really see myself pick otherwise. The Cyberpunk look is great but I'll leave the oddness of the messed side of it to others. And I was a fan of Gunnm (Battle angel alita), Valhalla and etc. At least on the visual, Bastet or Arish kinda work well. I know Gunnm had a good representation of "Just get augments to become more of a super human or cyborg" but I also saw LOT of messed up stuff on that side. Ghost in the shell also went pretty wack on that side. Sooo. I'll try to aim for something a little more low profile. Even an android/AI with designed features for their role might fit more.
  19. Arish is weird enough to probably fit the style. Well, she is otherwise a pretty good girl but she likes her shoeless maid uniform. I don't remember everyone in valhalla being absolutely weird so I guess one normal maid would fit just fine in an otherwise cyberpunk world. If I remember right, even the main character was normal after all.
  20. Well, my characters have none of that. I saw the cyberpunk and understand the meaning of augments buuut. I am not sure what character could just have cyber stuff like network plugs and etc. It's all ideas I've already seen from the cyberpunk series itself and I don't wanna copy. Also, don't really wanna do what Val'halla characters did. I don't have a cyberpunk work but I did have a dark city. It was based on fantasy more than science fiction, though. Characters I had back there probably would not fit here. I mean, I do have some possible choices but they are not mutant-ish like what I've seen in cyberpunk styles. What characters I have may not exactly fit the setting.
  21. Sadly, I don't have cybernetics on my side. I dunno. I like some styles like Bastet etc. But never really did Cyber. Might aim for androids myself. Something of the Warning style or who knows? Could be a bit more robotic too, which I have plenty of in a way but that will need LOT of thinking about what really fits here. As usual, still thinking. :P
  22. I thought about something... I still have my maid girl. (Arish) that could be a waitress of sort. She is my "bar" character and has a history on like 2 other clubs. Those of which that she never developed the skills that she had a bio for. But she does have some lores in ED with a few posts and bios here and there. (From a bar to an apocalypse)
  23. Mitsuko was once more lost as to what Jumi said meant. Could any ancestors help somehow? This place seemed to hold many secrets. Still, Jumi had a point. In a world focused on humans or defending humanity as a whole, simply asking the people to accept Shinigami was going to be hard. What Mitsuko hoped however was for her to at least be left alone and not slain on sight. Humans may dislike her or not respect her but the valkyrie wanted to defend her, at the very least. She already wanted to be Jumi's knight of sort as well. She had a lot of work on her hands... "Right. I... still want to find out what we can in this place. Besides, once we're done, we can get a lift back home, right?", she asked, hoping it was true. Shinigami and Nall both looked lost on what these researches would bring but the fox at least felt comfortable for once, curious about how far this "peace" between her and the people there would last. Even Nall was curious about people connected to gods somehow but he was looking forward to food right now. "Well, it won't hurt being here, I suppose. Better than being locked in a room forever in fear of your kind. However, I'm not a pet and I don't intend to stay like this. Underestimating me would be a mistake, with or without relics. You might not like to hear it but I'll fight any attackers if I must. If your kind is so stupid that they want to see me as the enemy, they'll lose an ally.", Shinigami said, a bit fed with this... Mitsuko blinked, seeing an annoyed Shinigami but still, if she meant the part about being an ally, it might still be a win for at least her and Jumi. Humans would probably do as Jumi said and blame her with accusations of corruption if they tried to show her the world. Maybe it was silly of her to think that humans may accept her, especially after the convention. But still, Shinigami clearly didn't like this plan to hide and take it slowly. She didn't want to let go of her freedom. Whether Mitsuko liked it or not, conflict would happen soon or later. Being accused of being corrupted seemed like an easy way out for the magical girls to explain whatever alliance they had, whether it was true or not, to justify wanting to slay her. "...I said it before, Shinigami. I won't let them try. I might be new at this but I'll stay by your side. But... I don't want my choice to put Jumi in danger either...", Mitsuko then said, looking at everyone there. She was torn between her choice to help Shinigami and what history Jumi already had in this world. She knew better than both she and Shinigami and she may or not want to defy other magical girls for the sake of the fox, who was mostly their captor. Was she wrong to want this? looking down for a bit, she slowly stood up. "I need a walk... Sorry, I will eat later. Please give my apologies to miss Umi for this. I will be back later...", the valkyrie said before she left, making sure Nall wouldn't follow her around, this time.
  24. Still searching for a human ish myself. But I might also use a robot, who knows? Androids can be quite advanced in cyberpunk. (Val-halla as example)
  25. Mitsuko followed Jumi after Uni started leaving, sitting near her while Shinigami followed them just the same. Nall however just landed on the table near them. Mitsuko waited that they were mostly alone to speak, following what Jumi explained about the library. "We know Shinigami's origins, though... What are we supposed to find now that would help us? Would there be a proof that she is not a demon? Or a way to help her fit in?", Mitsuko asked a few questions curiously. Shinigami herself just looked around passively, slightly annoyed about what time they might waste searching. "Death is Death... Don't humans know about her? You are all so mortal, I had no doubt that you would.", she said, like it was obvious. Mitsuko scratched her head, though. "It's... It's not that simple. Life and death are normal parts of being humans. We never really ask how we're born or how we die... Besides, throughout times, Death had many names. I mean... Ancient civilizations spoke of gods guiding them through death. Um... Ancient history is not really easy to understand, though.", she tried to explain what she had learned at school but it didn't seem to convince Shinigami much. She barely knew her own "mother" all that much. Was she death itself or simply a holder of the power of death? Regardless, she was still the one that created her or at least brought her to life in this world, as far as she knew. The other mystery about her was the relics. Those were seemingly destroyed into the sound breaking explosion created by Shinigami herself, destroying the portal to her manor or the dimension as a whole. Mitsuko however was not there to see her part with them, hiding them in the manor while she was with Jumi. A thing that she remembered, however. "The power that you used before you take us, though... Was it a demon's power? You controlled a number of sort.", Mitsuko asked, leading to Shinigami turning to her. "You mean the spell of doom. It was a power of the relic, handed to me by my mother. Putting a time on someone's life. Once the counter ends, the life it cursed ends with it. I can't do that anymore.", she answered as honestly as she could. Mitsuko's eyes saw no reasons for her to lie. If the relics were the bad things and Shinigami was completely separated from them and her mother, she might be considered friendly. Still, she was too new at this to have a proper judgement in this world of magic. Turning her gaze to Jumi and Nall, she still wondered how far all of this went. Her, a guardian of Althena, according to Nall. Jumi was her own kind of magical girl as well. "What do you think, Jumi...?", she finally asked, figuring that she would not be able to figure this on her own. What she wished for was evident but was it realistic? She would not give up on the fox, though. Perhaps their meeting was coincidental and strange but she had followed them this far.
