  1. I mean, not really. Remember what Shinigami was there for at first. I am not bashing anyone for trying to stop her but Azreal was the most level headed in this situation. Rie telling her a straight no is why she was the prime target of her demonstration. She probably wouldn't have cast anything without her defiance. (And there's a difference between defiance and simply protecting their ground.) And let's be honest, doom is not death. It still doesn't enter the rule of killing character, it would if the thing DOES activate. If I started discussing what nasty thing I have in mind then we might as well carebear this around with petty magic and skills. I mean, do we also ask permission if we scratch someone's body, wound them, make them bleed? I was not asked permission when Hellhound was shot. I simply reacted to it and if I didn't want my character to die, I found a way so she doesn't die that can be explained in the story. This scene is exactly supposed to demonstrate that some enemies out there will not play nice with you and hug you. The funniest in this scenario or the scariest is not her but the fact Rie thought provoking her was a good idea. I was baffled myself the first time I saw it. Asking her "What card do you think you hold?" and "Everyone will hunt you?". She made very precise that she doesn't care about that. Rie tried to intimidate her into making her lose her ground and it only increased her will to show you that you're an insect to her. Most demons see it as a suicide to step in the magic girl HQ, SHE sees it like fun. This is what she shows.
  2. It's worrying yes. But so is any enemy capable of inflicting doom in any situation anyway. Some have power through strength, some through magic. She has power through death. And note, I am not being seen cheating or breaking the RP rules. Rie was never meant to actually "die", hence the fun thing about turning around it to make the tense situation I'm looking for. But I will simply say "it's funny you mention that". That said, remember that Shinigami escalated it slowly because Rie is, well, Rie. And she kept being Rie. XD Because of that, however, that opened to me a new direction in what I want to do. But yeah, she is more or less inevitable. How many seemingly hopeless enemies ever existed anyhow and all managed to find defeat at one point or another. The irony is that I went at first with just fun in mind until out-of-control escalation happened. To this point, again, they only managed to prove Shinigami right. The world savers are, for some of them, irrational and pretending to protect while being themselves the cause of their demise. "I thought your kind would be more judicious..." -Shinigami
  3. You can see her now. And yeah, I understand what Rie "wishes" to do in nature but she seems to lack all senses of self-preservation. So much that even Mitsuko had to step in to try and stop her from killing herself. And yeah, while they're trying to warn her of the threat of a thousand magical girl, she also doesn't show a single hint of backing out of that, just wanting to be there anyway. XD The only reason they pulled their weapon is because of the doom threat on Rie but SHE will single handed get everyone killed. Just consider that in any real story (As warned by Shinigami), if there was no rule of no character kill, Rie would have been killed right off for her defiance and inability to shut the hell up. Mitsuko knows a bit too well but it wasn't too bad when it was just them. A "god of death" as Azreal put it though is a little hot to play with. The whole "What cards do you think you hold" was a big oof to throw at someone who literally holds your life in the palm of her hand. She is currently saved by RP rules plotarmor, nothing else.
  4. I love how Mitsuko at least tried to de-escalate but Rie only adds more. XD Like, if there was not any rules for not killing characters, she'd be dead without real consequences. In fact, their behavior is proving Shinigami right and it just makes me giggle. Azreal seems to have understood the assignment, at the very least. Rie is putting a "please kill me" sign on her forehead. Edit: The pictures loaded to me because I still had the loaded cache. I fixed them now and I don't know why they pictures actually changed. You can view them now... x.x
  5. Shinimagi could only grin for a bit before she shrugged with disappointment to Azreal's question. "Did I not explain this already...? But you are correct about the spell cast upon her. Mostly...", she confirmed, soon resting her arms crossed against her chest. As she listened to Rie's ramble, she didn't seem fazed even once, even smirking at the end of it. "Your loud mouth is what got you there. I do believe it is also the reason even your kind doesn't like you... As you pretend to fight to protect others, your behavior is the very one putting them and yourself in danger.", she observed with amusement before she snapped her fingers and froze the clock above Rie's head at 13, not without a fearsome yet calm expression to herself. "You seem to be under the impression that I do not hold the cards. Think about your situation carefully... Pulling your weapon as I warned you of the consequences of fighting me, even as you gloat over the damage you would be causing, for the only reasoning of convincing yourself that you did something right...", she spoke coldly before she snapped her fingers again, this time quickening the counter down to stop again at 01. "Your death would bring no consequence to me that I am not already enjoying. You cannot bluff or intimidate me into leaving you alive... Your life is meaningless. Kill me and your friends will watch you die. I thought your kind would be more judicious...", she called out the group's behavior with a smile. Mitsuko watched with horror as Rie could die anytime and this fox girl did not give a care in the world. Worse... Rie was even provoking her and all of them were ready to start a fight in this place once safe. Obviously Shinigami was in the wrong but she had not done much so far except for holding Rie's life within her grasp, if she spoke the truth. Nall himself was quiet and shocked and there was not much he could do. She may be new to all of this but if she let this happen, these magical girls, Rie more so, would just cause everyone's death. The fox had said it herself, her death would be inconsequential but Rie's would be real. "E-ENOUGH!", she suddenly shouted and moved between them and the fox looking at the group. Mitsuko closed her eyes for a second, knowing she was forfeiting herself on either side but someone had to speak wisely. The fox herself blinked but observed quietly. "A-are you all really going to do this here? Rie... Stop. Talking!", she kept shouting, her face showed as much fear as she showed a glimpse of courage mixed with sadness, even shaking a bit as she went on. "Do you really want her to kill you this much...? I-I don't know how you fight your enemies but this is not a game... I am sorry to be out of line but I beg you to stop... She is not afraid to die, not afraid of any of you... B-but...", her eyes shifted up to the "1" above Rie before she looked at everyone, barely able to stand on her feet. "Please... stop this now..."
  6. The fox girl watched them, letting them talk, while Mitsuko was trying to focus on what she had to do. Listening to everyone's point of view made it conflicting, added to what that fox did but her mind was clear and she would act accordingly if she needed to. Nall stayed close to her as well. After everyone gave their insights, the fox shifted her gaze to Azreal and seemed shocked for a moment before she finally eyed everyone else, chuckling before she cackled. "You seem to confound me for someone who might be afraid of death...", she then said but muttered the last word with a twisted grin. "A suicide is nothing but the appropriate departure for me... But not quite the end you think it would lead to.", she explained smoothly. Mitsuko frowned from what that could possibly mean, was she insane...? She looked far too confident and calm. The fox didn't leave much time before she continued, "I think you are not very aware of who I am so let me introduce myself with a proper demonstration... For the sake of presenting a name to you, you may call me Shinigami.", she told them while soon pointing a hand toward them as a triangle like magic symbol appeared, similar to the one she had on her chest. The difference with this magic symbol was that the single line in the middle lit up brighter than other parts and before they could realize, she had cast an invisible spell, seemingly at Rie. No effect? But the number "30" appeared above her, soon going down. The countdown seemed to be slower than seconds and the end of it probably would not mean anything good. "Wait... Shinigami?", Mitsuko soon realized that she might have heard of such name before, only in meaning since she never had heard of this fox girl before. "It can't be...", she whispered but looked the others. Nall seemed to panic as he shouted at the fox, "Stop this...!". Shinigami, if that was even her name, stood there calmly now with a smile, "If you were to attack me, it would be not only dangerous but the consequence would not be one that you like. Right now, however, I am hungry so if you do not mind...", she said, unbothered while pointing her hand toward the barrier that is supposed to stop her from going further.
  7. The fox girl didn't stop her movement toward them but showed no signs of hostility. However, that did not stop her from giving off a bad vibe if anyone felt any from her. Her eyes shifted toward Rie as she was asked what she was doing there. Her body turned toward her to take a good look at the voice's owner who spoke to her. "Come, now... You know the answer to this question. Your kind gathers here for your own pleasure and those of these lower lifeforms gorging you on admiration.", she started, waving her hand at anyone still present around them, as a way to refer to the fans and magical girls or knights alike. "I've had to see it myself with my own eyes. No...?", she said, smirking while tilting her head slightly. Her eyes then took a good look around before looking at Azreal, whether she knew his nature or not, soon walking around some more as she replied, "I see there's a bright one among you.", commenting about his advice to hear her out. "Of course, there's always a team of them, isn't there? The heroes of this world fighting selflessly for the sake of everyone else. I would hate to spoil the ending for you...". Mitsuko saw the fox behaving quite casually, showing no real fear nor shame but also still no signs of hostility. Her eyes notice the symbol on her chest, though. And it was hard not to look at the rest while she was at it. The tension was palpable and nobody seemed to know what to do or how to react to her. The fox girl simply moved ahead, taking a good look at the place, not waiting for anyone to allow her through. She did not seem to care. She however made sure to brush her tail against Mitsuko's skin while going, probably on purpose if she saw the way the valkyrie was looking at her. The schoolgirl blushed as her brain struggled between enjoying the softness of the move or whatever threat this fox girl supposedly was for, well, everyone. She was left speechless for now, anyhow. It took Nall to land on her shoulder to bring her back to reality. If that was not enough, the demon in question gave her a look back with a smooth smile before looking at everyone. "Will one of you show me around, now?", she then asked.
  8. Nall took off soon enough to allow Jumi full movement. He was able to fly after all. Mitsuko, for herself, didn't mind to see Rie, especially since the situation seemed serious. Her presence didn't surprise Nall too much as he already had figured he would meet with many more. In normal times, he would happily take a moment to greet her properly but the feeling he had took the most of his current attention so Mitsuko spoke instead, "I don't know what he is but he said that he's not a cat... But yes, my guardian, I believe..." All three of them headed to the main hall for now, where Mitsuko had spent some time before already... Azreal might or not notice them and the flying pet heading there together. However, something was different than before, this one time. Someone or something who definitely was not human, if only humanoid in appearance, stood in one of the main areas without a hint of fear, overflowing with confidence. In appearance, tail included, she looked like a fox. If she was a demon, she was not as bad looking as the statues... The demon in question looked around at everyone with strange pink and white eyes but didn't seem to single out anyone in particular, not even Jumi or anyone. With a playful grin, she observed everyone's reaction before she spoke with amusement, "It's good to see so many of you gathered here and enjoying yourselves. I see you even prepared a warm welcome for me...". She stepped forward on her paws while her tail moved in perfect curves behind herself. "You have quite a nice place... Mind showing me around...?" Mitsuko stared at the personage that this fox displayed. Her look had goth vibes or so and while that fur looked smooth to touch, she had no doubts that Jumi would instantly warn her to be wary as she was, most likely, exactly what she was told to be wary about. Was she even a demon, though? Were there non-humans magical girls existing? She had lot of questions about what was happening and but the reaction of Nall quietly being in full alert near them didn't tell her anything good about her. She was an enemy...
  9. Certainly. Azreal would not necessarily be of help though but if he is at the convention, he can be a witness of what is going to happen and may act however he likes. My "event" will be going regardless, assuming nobody does anything too out of control to throw it off. So far, nothing special had happened but good times between Mitsuko, Jumi and a bit with Rie. Where we are now, if you read the latest posts (no need to read all of them), something is about to happen that is related to this page: ነⶴጎክጎጮልፏጎ.
  10. Alright, so I changed the post in order to make it less problematic regarding uninvolved parties. Those who are doing private things can keep doing their things without being bothered, thanks to the vibe change of the post. Those who want to involve themselves can as well. I think I made it better now and less cursed. I sometimes get into things too much.
  11. I can always change the effects I tried to give off and make it more tame. Of course they would still be alerted by Nall's detection anyway. Or by whatever noise people would make around what is happening. There are many ideas to make this work, I am just not sure right now what I leave be and what I change. I will see if I can improve things. Oh dang. Well, he can always participate. I believe everyone is welcome. (It would not change much in whatever I had planned anyway. ) At first, it was an attempt to re-include some people waiting. (Such as Rie) So yeah. I have nothing against anyone wanting a part into what is going on with what I've started. It's all for the fun part of it.
  12. The only real wide effect is the (short) effect of dread and eeriness. But that wasn't planned to be permanent anyway. The events will happen mostly around those who see. So yeah, I don't believe that those not around would even be affected. I did that mostly to leave an impression. STILL, if Rie wants to be involved then she could. Nobody else seemed to be in the hall. Also, I need to say that the convention is the only opportunity I have to do this right anyway, to present this the way I want to present it. (Can't explain in ooc)
  13. Well, the fancy thing is that I don't know who else is around. But I didn't really imagine a fight starting either. I didn't think as far as what other stories are affected by it, to be honest. If it is a problem, I can try and change things. But yeah, nobody is in the hall of the convention except those IN the convention topic, no? Because if they have to leave, it might lead to an evacuation. WHICH might impact things more than planned. I wanted effects but not total chaos. XD So it's good to know if things are fine or no. But yes, the "source" as it is now would be in the hall of the convention. As I really didn't plan a large scare war or anything. In fact, going outside may even remove from the effect I was looking for. Welp... Just let me know if we go with what I had in mind OR we wipe the idea altogether. The event would be very in-character for what I had in mind, though. I thought about it for a while and it goes well with the personality I am looking for for the character. Unfortunately, we can only see that IF we actually do it. So, yeah. ><
  14. Well, if you saw my last post, Ren may have an opinion about what's going on soon enough considering the scales.
  15. Went for a little experience. Also wondering if @AsBloodTurnsEverCold would like a turn in this or something since I am sure Ren is still in the facility. (And you seem to have followed everything so far.). You might be involved into this unless you don't want to. I still thought I would ask since you had a time with Mitsuko and Jumi. Also please tell me if I go too far. I am allowing myself some liberty but I also want the story to be good and enjoyable. >< (I especially feel weird about it because I'm not the club host but welp. My imagination is overflowing with ideas.) Anyhow, please let me know if anything feels off or wrong. Otherwise, thank you for the fun so far.
  16. Mitsuko smiled to the praise and gave a nod to what she was told, knowing it was indeed the truth. Well, she did not have the battle experience but she could imagine what reality could look like. It might be a game now but later, it wouldn't be. "Right... It was fun, though. I know real battles may not be as fun but I suppose it's alright for now. I could see what kind of powers others have. It's impressive. One of them even had explosive magic...", she observed, wondering how powerful most magical girls or knights would be. As much as Mitsuko was in shape, she never had to swing a blade at targets and for the first time, she needed a pause before she'd go again. She however planned to go again for sure, soon or later. Most likely once more in the same day. "Perhaps not yet, Jumi... I did not think it would tire me this much. I did not know I could jump so high without hurting myself...", she murmured, feeling like she was in a dream. Nall meanwhile seemed to enjoy her excitement but soon changed his expression as something alerted him. Turning on Jumi's shoulder to look the way they came from before, toward the convention's main hall, he looked like an alert cat feeling threatened. "Something is wrong...", he gasped, making Mitsuko look toward the direction he was looking before she looked at Jumi. "It could not be Lenneth...", she replied to him, concerned but assuming she would certainly not... Nall shook his head, however. "No. That is not her...", Nall responded, making Mitsuko look back toward the direction leading to the Hall. Who or what was it...? While Nall had this feeling, they would not see anything from where they are but his feeling seemed to be confirmed by potential sounds coming from the hall. Thankfully, there didn't seem to be any fighting sounds so perhaps it was not an attack. Would demons even attack the convention? Mitsuko felt like it would be something silly to do with all the trained magical girls and knights present. She was sure that she was told how safe the place was as well. "Should we go take a look, Jumi...?", the schoolgirl asked carefully.
  17. Nall seemed to hold on fine and thankfully, he was smart enough not to use his claws at all, not not hurting Jumi in any ways. He seemed impressed by the setup of the activity, just watching for now, while Mitsuko was preparing and watching, learning quickly how this worked so she would not fall behind. She was not planning to use any advanced techniques anyhow. She could feel the magic but she still was not sure how to use it, except for the magic she somehow managed to focus around her blade before. When the beep and countdown started, Mitsuko tightened her grip on her sword. The truth was that she was not sure what to expect but luckily, she had been able to watch the end of the last round. She knew at least what to expect on basic levels. This training could still surprise her and she had no doubt that it would. When the second beep was heard, she looked around for a target, only hearing the sound behind her then made her turn, looking in shock but still swung her blade at it sideways, almost too late. "O-okay... It's different seeing them from so close... Focus, Mitsuko...", she tried to spirit herself up and looked carefully around, trying to see this like a video game of sort. After all, it was not all different from that except that she was the main character playing now. Another one sprung to her side and she was a little more prepared for it this time, sending a slash in its direction before she leaped back to get a better view, not knowing where they could spring from. It seemed to start easy enough, to begin with. After a few targets hit, it started becoming a little more tricky with a higher target showing itself, not very reachable at melee range unless one was to jump to it or use a ranged attack. Mitsuko was not sure how to target from a range yet but she trusted her legs and tried for a jump, still in the video game mind that she had so far. Surprisingly, her legs kicked the floor rather powerfully to allow her a jump higher than one a normal human could and in the instant, she managed to get a slash in before landing. Her eyes stared down at her self, never really having tried to jump until now. Though, it was not the time to stop and think about it. A few different targets appeared, seeming to move in opposite direction. After a swift consideration, she dashed to one and slashed down at it before trying to make it to the second one. However, it retreated before she could make it. Before she could position herself, a small target appeared right behind her again as if it knew where she was. Statues tried to surround her even. Frowning to the attempt, she used her strength and spun her blade around her to slash them all off, making them retreat. The game was barely over, now with different targets appearing at different heights. Mitsuko dashed to slash one and leave it, figuring she only needed a hit like Jumi had told her. She jumped to another, struck and brought her blade down on a third one. unfortunately unable to hit the 4th one that had appeared along. One suddenly appeared and moved fast toward her, making her counter. Mitsuko was not sure if it would have stopped before hitting her but her reaction allowed to 'stop' it. Another sprung, doing the same thing from another direction while a subtle one appeared nor far behind her, more quietly. Her mind was focused on the faster one and the only way she noticed the slower one was when it quickly retreated a moment later, making her stare at where it was. "W-what...? If it was a real one, I'd have been...", she said and shook her head, looking around carefully and preparing herself. Suddenly, a pretty large statue showed itself with many "slash" marks on its center. It did not seem like they were there by damage but it was hard to tell. It was much bigger... Other participants seemed to prepare their best attack or for some other ones, going for many hits. It must have been a large scoring one. Mitsuko worked herself up and dashed to it, testing her strength and stamina to slash as many times as she could. After which, the target finally retreated, marking this one game as finally complete. Mitsuko panted after this, having practiced with simple wooden targets before but this was beyond what she ever thought she would do. A real battle would be much worse than this but it was good practice. She was definitely not the best, considering that it was her first time and she lacked in magic training, but she had not been the worst. Still, she could have done better... Now, was she capable of doing this again? Maybe another time would be best. Sure, she had to become better but she needed a break. Leaving after the score was given, Mitsuko returned to Jumi, still exhausted from having given her all but she smiled. "A-alright, I did not think that it would be like this but I enjoyed it. I could get used to do more of this. I was so nervous that I did not think about exploring my abilities, though.", she told them but felt slightly disappointed by the latter. She knew that it was her first time, though. It was hard to blame her for it. Nall looked as happy as usual, still on Jumi's shoulder, commenting "You did great! Right?"
  18. Mitsuko looked surprised for a bit then above at Nall and soon nodded, "Alright, then. So be it... It sounds easy enough.", she said, getting ready to go, mentally and physically. A movement from Jumi made her stop for a moment, also making her blush in surprise. Though she was more comfortable with this kind of behavior now, after what they had done, even if in so little time. She cuddled her gently as a form of response and offered a smile while Nall above was clueless about their relationship, just admiring the sight around them. Mitsuko nodded when a turn potentially opened for her. "Alright, Jumi... I will show you what I am capable of. Nall, you wait here with her...", she said and gave her friend a quick kiss before she went to find herself a spot, one that was not too far. Dashing to it, she placed herself on it so she can use it for herself. Then she formed her blade and waited. It was not only a transformation that she was going to show off this time... She had to show her capabilities but while she was nervous, she tried not to stress herself. This was not new to her. Nall obeyed and watched from above, lowering himself slowly to Jumi's side though, having seen nothing that happened between the two. He was going to get a taste of Mitsuko's powers as well, though. And he looked rather excited for it, having no idea that Jumi had not seen her in practice yet either. He was not worried for her, considering the game's rules, anyway. Mitsuko herself observed around, trying to see how it might go in her mind. It was only a target practice, she told herself. She had done it before with handmade targets. The white cat flew close to Jumi and landed on her shoulder to rest. He was not too heavy but if one was to compare, it would be about the weight of a pet of his size, perhaps slightly more due to the wings. A smile drew on his face as he eyed at Jumi, "Do you think that she will win? She looks like she knows how to use her sword. Maybe she IS a warrior...", he said and turned his head toward Jumi's. "Right?", he asked, not really knowing that Mitsuko took inspiration mostly from manga and anime for her stance. She had the strength, too.
  19. Mitsuko listened to the instructions and nodded. "Alright... This seems easy, then. I don't know how well I'd do yet but I will do the same as what I've practiced. How do we register, though?" She had to ask while Nall seemed to fly above them to get a better look of the area. "Can't you just go inside...?", he questioned, not being sure how this worked. Mitsuko could not really blame him as even she had no idea. Jumi was the best one to tell them right now. "I don't think so... Jumi, can you take care of it for me?", she queried about her registration.
  20. Mitsuko was surprised with how Jumi approached this topic seemingly so comfortably. She didn't know what to say about it now, making her silent for the moment. She enjoyed to see her fly, though. Jumi was even encouraging toward her. Looking at the event happening, Mitsuko seemed impressed with the sight. "Wow... Many of them using their magic and powers...", she said while watching them until she turned to them while listening to the instructions. "So we only need to hit them, not destroy them?", she asked. If it was the former, she felt strong enough to be capable of hitting them fine, probably. Even destroy them, depending on how it would feel when she hit them. If it was the latter, she would have to focus more power on her hits. The only training she had done with her sword was on human made wooden dummies so it was not very close to the kind of dummies that they had here. Mitsuko was confident that she would do alright, though. With some of them struggling, she might have a chance not to end being last, at least. "Alright...! I am ready, Jumi. I feel like wanting to try this. Will you participate, too?", she asked her, wondering if Jumi would be there as well. She was not planning to compete with her anyhow. For Mitsuko, it would be a test of her own strength and abilities, both of which seemed to have been improved. At the same time, she would have the chance to see what other magic gifted heroes were capable of. Learning of what abilities others had made her as curious as finding out what she could do herself as well. It would be fun.
  21. As her descriptions imply, the rumors about it happening may or may not have been inflated and twisted in its story. She IS capable of casting doom on others, though. (Imagine the typical death oriented Final Fantasy boss or something.) IF the rumors were true however, they would affect mortals as immortals are not capable of dying... or something. XD Her playful yet deadly nature doesn't make her unfriendly or anything, though. As in, I have no idea if she cares about others with her or not. So far, Demons don't seem to form parties.
  22. Another episode of "I am acting weird again.", I've made a new conceptual character. (Conceptual means that she is a concept for the time being, depending on people's reaction about her.) I made the symbol myself with paint and it is not a google found image. I made mathematical calculations to do it right. But yeah, I've described what I could.
  23. Name: Shinigami? Age: 凵几片几回山几 句丹卞丹 Sex: Female Orientation: Mostly Yuri. Race: Fox Demon? Hair: Purple? Eyes: Pink? Short Bio: Shinigami is a beast of underworld origin, or so it is what is believed when it comes to her existence. She bears the mark of Death, potentially being Death herself, in a form that she would have chosen in order to manifest herself to mortals. She is very playful in attitude and enjoys to toy with any opponents who would dare to face, challenge or defy her anyhow. Rumors about her say that seeing her always ends in one's ultimate end but it is not said how such end comes to happen, either by her hand or by any other unknown means. Death may not necessarily be instant either as it may come one day or another in the unknown future. Such rumors may actually be exaggerated but her power is not, as she is very powerful as a being of death. Abilities: Shinigami, being who she is, is a powerful beast woman with powers definable by the triangular symbol that she shows off. Her abilities range from being offensive in nature to being defensive if she requires protection. Worse of it is that she also possess powers of healing in the rare case that she would actually be wounded. Her magic power and capabilities to control the elemental energy around her makes her a fearsome opponent but a worse ability of hers is to become invisible. If that alone did not worry someone, she is rumored to be capable of resurrecting herself though it is unknown if she can actually die. Her weaknesses, if any exist, are unknown.
  24. Mitsuko looked even more shocked than before with where Jumi was going with this. Even if it was not intended as an actual suggestion or possibility. "I-I'm not planning for a child...!", she said a bit loudly, even making Nall stare at her for a bit. As the bit on Mitsuko's powers came up however, Nall turned to Jumi and replied, "Her power comes from the blessing of Althena... But Mitsuko also has a lot of potential. This is why she was chosen in your world to wield the sword.", trying to explain the girl's powers to them. Mitsuko wasn't sure if she had any potential of her own but surely she had something. She felt stronger in general but she didn't know if it was from the sword's power or from anytime before that. Anyhow, she looked at Jumi. "I will do what I can... I'm ready to try. I'm transformed and many have seen me in this form now. I will show what I can do...", she told her, seeming confident enough. There was nothing to worry about and failing would not or should not put her in grave danger. It was the best time for her to start.
  25. Mitsuko opened her eyes wide when she heard of the arranged marriages. Obviously, that didn't apply to her but that was still surprising to hear. "I don't think I'm ready for that... Or willing to try that ever.", she only commented. Nall himself seemed confused but since the custom was precised to be an old tradition, he did not think anything of it. As for the response about fun, Mitsuko remembered the challenges she was told about before. "Right... I will surely try, then.
