  1. It seems one way or another Xyvee is going to learn quite a bit on her first day!
  2. Wait. Which of us is even in charge? Maybe neither of us? The little creature beamed her friendliest smile up towards the much larger furry robot, hand settling back down to her side. "Evee ees seecooreetee" she began, hands lifting up to point towards Vulture and then back to herself. "Maet." That doesn't sound right. Mate? Close. Err, wait, no! Partner! "Pootneer?" Pointed ears wiggled slightly. A noise which had lingered in the background had caught her interest. Making her way over to the desk the Luanari hoisted herself up to look over towards the screen. It was some sort of battle. Perhaps a study of combat formations? But then they didn't appear to be really fighting that much either. Also a ball of some sorts was involved. Clearly they weren't escorting anything important or delicate around. Even so, it was for some reason a bit exciting to her, enough so that her tail had emerged, wiggling just a slight bit behind her. "What is?" she asked before remember that she hadn't even gotten the creature's name. In effort to recover from her blunder she turned her attention back towards her fellow security officer. "Name?" Clearly the most natural end to her initial question, and definitely not two different ones at that!
  3. Usually she didn't need to worry about this part of town. Those who might spot her were often the sort to drink excessively. People who imbibed in drugs. Suffered from hunger. Or, of course, were criminals. And those who were simply down on their luck were often believed to be one of the former. Their word wouldn't go very far. Not for most officers. It wouldn't however stop magical girls or knights from investigating. Weird tabloid news articles had often ended up with the discovery of some monster. I doubt any article written about me would be very serious. 'Bunny girl spotted in the city!' Real scary. But I suppose it is better than any of the saucier ones. She paused at a corner, the hood of her cloak twitching ever so slightly. Her ears were not simply for show. In fact her senses in general were elevated thanks to her demonic blood, but especially so for her sense of hearing. Emi was in many ways like a rabbit. It was strange though because her mother had described her father as being not exactly rabbit-like. A hulking bestial creature with fur, fangs, claws, and perhaps rabbit-like ears. He was like a beast in many ways, and not just physically. But he could also apparently take on other forms too. It was part of what made hunting him so difficult. Maybe he has a transformation too. That will make things more difficult. When she had figured that the coast was clear Emi darted out, hurriedly shuffling forward, keeping herself low and glued to one side of the street. This was the most dangerous part of her journey out. A very long, mostly straight wider street. The main road, in fact. But there was an abandoned shop she knew she could duck into in order to wait things out until night fell. She even had some snacks stashed away there.
  4. Sorry for the late reply but finally did make one!
  5. Finally got a reply in! And also added Emi's height to her profile.
  6. Upon each thigh Emi strapped a thin black holster, each of which carried a couple extra slim magazines and a small handgun. Her transformation wasn't required for every job. Sometimes mortal weapons worked well enough, especially when it came time to deal with other magical girls or knights. As long as they hadn't transformed themselves it was often all she needed. Heck, she didn't even need to fire them. If she was quick enough on the draw that was typically enough to allow her a chance to escape. It also came in handy when dealing with civilians or, occasionally, law enforcement. And of course there were quite a few monsters who were still vulnerable to firearms. Thin arms slipped through the bands of a soft pink backpack. Within this she held some basic lockpicking tools, four extra magazines for her pistols, a towel, and finally some soap. The water in her place generally didn't work. It was, after all, supposed to be abandoned. That left only finding an unused location to bathe and wash her clothes, or the local gym. Alternatively, breaking into someone's home. She had utilized each option in the past. It was good to do so whenever she had the chance, and so she brought what was necessary for it regardless of whether or not she planned on it. The rest of the backpack was left empty for anything she might pick up, whether that be food or money or more ammunition or new clothes. Over everything she had decided to wear a very dark blue somewhat tattered old hooded cloak, one which was almost black but not quite. Once it became night this would help to conceal her form well. She would have rather had the cover of rain to offer an excuse for it, but then if there were few enough people out and about she could still get away with everything, provided she kept out of sight. That was generally preferred regardless. Food first. Maybe a fast food joint. They generally don't care. I could pilfer a supermarket once night falls, provided they close. Or maybe even if they don't. With her plan decided upon Emi departed from her home, making certain to lock up on her way out. Despite the lingering daylight she did her best to keep to the less traveled alleys and streets. It wasn't just normal civilians she had to worry about, after all. Other magical girls and knights may be hunting her. The monsters she hunted generally kept out of sight as well. But beyond that there were also criminal elements to worry about. Being as small as she was generally painted a large target upon her back.
  7. What a day it had been already! Xyvee had finally woken from her slumber after five long years. She had met some of the crew. She had met her captain. She had discovered a planet and unintentionally named it the Human word for mating. It had been very embarrassing from there, but also enlightening! And, in some ways, thrilling! The Luanari had already learned so much and her day had only just started! Now that she was somewhat acquainted with her pilot position it was now time for Xyvee to meet her future friends in security! Or, perhaps, just the one friend? The one that she knew about. They hadn't really spoken yet but she had seen the man, or what she thought might be a man, and they were certainly much different from the other Humans! In fact it had been entirely possible that they weren't even Human at all! Technology and fur! Like the other small one. Maybe they are the same species? Either way I am very excited to learn more about them! And make friends! Just maybe with less embarrassment this time? With a soft hiss the metallic door leading into the security ward slid open. The petite creature's golden orbs darted about while she entered, glancing around at what was effectively her primary headquarters aboard the vessel. Receptionist area. Evidence room. Locker room and, if it was anything like a Luanari vessel, an attached armory. Storerooms. Cells. And, of course, the surveillance office. It was there that she located the large furry creature currently in the midst of relaxing within his seat. I suppose it may be a slow day, huh? Well now that I am here maybe I can help cheer him up! As she entered the room the little Luanari raised her right fist, settling it squarely against her mostly flat chest. She was of course dressed only in the skin-tight grey under-suit which her people wore as a uniform. It wasn't as though she needed the full armor, after all, right? "Evee reepoorteen for duty!"
  8. Within the darkened room of a long abandoned house hummed the screen and tower of an unusually new computer system, the former of which bathed the space in a soft blue glow. Like the polished wood desk it sat upon and the black computer chair sat nearby it was very much out of place. Within that chair was seated the small pale form of one Emi Ueno, currently in the midst of tapping away upon the keyboard of said computer system. Dressed in naught but her frilly black underwear she was currently in the process of checking over the daily news alerts she'd set up. From the outside the building appeared to be more or less run down, and indeed it certainly was in need of a lot of work. When one entered however they would discover that the home had been at least picked up and kept somewhat cleaned. Most of the furniture within was old, and many pieces were falling apart or makeshift builds utilizing patches or modifications. The floors were worn and torn, and the ceiling above was patched with wood and paint and plaster to keep out the elements. Electricity for the computer and a fridge were provided by cables which ran up the old creaky stairs, through a hallway, and out to a small generator sat tucked away upon a second store balcony. There was no running water. But this was her home, really the only place that would accept a monster like her. Nobody would rent to a person carrying the blood of a Demon. No, she was forced to move from one abandoned home to the next. At least she could look up demolition permit dates. It gave her notice on when she might need to move, and she certainly had moved quite a few times already, some of them in a hurry and with pursuers too. For that reason some of the alerts she'd set up were focused on herself. Weird news sightings of Demons matching her description, or monsters, or ghosts, or whatever else people decided to call her. Knowing this information allowed her to gauge whether or not she needed to move early. Coupled with this were the various heists she pulled off. Nothing major: some food stolen here, a computer there, generally whatever was needed and little more than that. Becoming intangible certainly made it easy enough, and she really only needed to wait for night time to strike. There were alerts for other magical girls and knights. Those that might secretly be terrible people, or those who might for whatever reason hunt her. Knowing a potential foe beforehand was always useful. It had allowed her to avoid being caught thus far, although she never did enjoy those sorts of engagements. Other alerts were geared towards other monsters, those that she might hunt, for despite the way the world treated her Emi was still trying her best to be one of the good girls. Coupled with this of course was information on one Demon specifically, although he rarely seemed to pop up these days. Still, he was one of the main reasons why she hunted in the first place. What she was going to do with him if she ever found him even she didn't know. A low grumble emerged from the bunny's stomach. She knew that she was out of food, and yet it was not yet night. Still, it wouldn't hurt to be ready. At least then she could leave as soon as possible. And so with a slight spin in her chair Emi turned and pushed herself to her feet, snatching up the clothes laid out upon her bed. She really only had a single outfit which was why she tried to wear as little as possible when she was at home. It kept it cleaner. A white dress with red trim, a red hat, and of course her little bunny collar pendant. When it was winter time she was often able to leave more easily, as people tended to dress up more heavily. Nicer seasons meant wearing less, and that was not at all good for keeping her identity a secret. I hope it rains tonight. Then I'd have a reason to wear something with a hood.
  9. Oh right it is Mirage! I might've been reading those two threads a bit too close to each other.
  10. Clearly Ivy wore him out!
  11. I made a Semi-Human character who generally operates as a wanna-be somewhat rogue Magical Girl (but who also occasionally commits crimes to survive). Lives as a hermit. Definitely capable of falling and becoming a Broken Girl as well if another enemy is needed (but just trying to be good within the confines of everything that life throws at her currently). Let me know if any changes are needed or anything, or even if it is acceptable to begin with!
  12. Name: Emi Ueno Race: Semi-Human (Knight) Alias: Luna Rabbit, The White Rabbit Gender: Female Age: Young Adult Hair: White Eyes: Blue Height: 3' 9" (114 cm) Short Bio: Emi's father was a Demon who, through his wicked acts with her magical girl mother, gave creation to Emi. Both her and her mother were cast out from the family due to the child's nature. Her mother, still young herself, found it very difficult to provide for the two of them and so resorted to selling her body, a sacrifice which eventually led to her death. It was the demise of her mother which unlocked Emi's latent magical girl abilities, and originally she tried to use them solely for the purpose of helping others. However her inhuman nature drew unwarranted criticism, fear, and ultimately hatred towards her. Even as she tried to help others she was hunted by some who deemed her impure and on the side of the very creatures she strived to remove from the world. Life as a civilian was no better, as she found it difficult to make any money, was constantly forced to hide what she was, and was often taken advantage of by those who managed to find out. Things finally came to a head when one of those who would blackmail her tried to push things too far. It was the first instance of her achieving a more bestial transformation, and as a result led to the first instance of her slaying a Human. After that an even bigger target was placed upon her. Even so it also shifted her perspective on things, and she started to use her powers more for her own gain. This isn't to say that she stopped trying to help others. She simply started to help herself too. While not a full blown Broken Girl she may be considered on the verge of becoming one, albeit actively fighting that potential fate. She generally operates alone and lives as a hermit, primarily because others tend to hunt her and also partially because she simply has learned not to trust others. One of her goals is to find and confront her father, who she still believes to be alive. Orientation: Pansexual Emi Ueno Transformation and Power: Emi's transformation sequence begins as any typical magical girl's transformation does: with a blinding white light which extends forth from a bunny collar pendant. This light both protects her during the process and conceals her entire body in a silhouette. Her clothes fall away as pure white petals, revealing her naked form. The rabbit's new outfit begins as a collar around her neck. From this thin ribbons lash out, twisting across her body. Extra fabric materializes outwards from each ribbon, covering first her torso, then her legs and rump. Small heeled shoes appear, followed by cuffs upon her wrists. Her hair extends outwards, twisting about while ribbons secure it into a couple of large braided tails. The final part of her transformation is the inclusion of frills upon the shoulders of her outfit, only after which will the light finally shatter into a cloud of gradually dissipating petals, leaving the transformed Emi in her full glory. In this state her eyes lighten up and gain a hint of pink-purple. As a magical girl Emi's powers focus on spatial manipulation. She is still young and still gaining full control over her abilities, and so the primary use of these powers is to teleport things around, swap things, and become temporarily intangible when need be. When at all possible she will utilize weapons, however Emi has been training herself to fight in close quarters and is, thanks to her Demon blood, far stronger and quicker than she might otherwise appear. Emi's Magical Girl Form Corrupted Transformation and Power: Emi's corrupted transformation sequence begins with a pitch black energy which spreads across her body from the same collar that she wears for each of her outfits. It coats her form in a silhouette of darkness with crackling dark purple edges. Clothes shatter away to dissipating pieces. Glowing purple ribbons twist out from the ribbon, covering her torso in a lattice design which barely conceals her areola and crotch before puffing up and forming a fluffy white fur. Fabric stretches out to cover her legs, forming a pair of thigh high boots. Thick fabric then erupts from the collar, forming a great hooded cape. Thin ribbons dart across her hair, which extends and twists together to form a pair of spiked buns, a single long braided ponytail in the back, and a pair of tied ropes in the front. Her arms become much larger and covered with fur, taking on an appearance closer to a beast's, and these are then covered by a pair of gloves. After her ears have grown out longer still the black energy finally shatters away, revealing Emi in her glorious bestial form. In this state her skin gains a slightly lavender shade and her eyes become a ruby red. The perfected form of her parent's combined bloodlines, Emi's corrupted state is far stronger than her normal magical girl form. It combines the spatial abilities gifted to her by her mother alongside the slight regenerative power, incredible strength, and blinding speed of a rabbit Demon. This is a form which only really comes out when she is completely desperate and no longer capable of maintaining control. She has not managed to gain any control over it yet, and while in this state becomes a berserker. Emi's Corrupted Form

  13. That's all it probably was. Just curiosity. She was curious, he was curious, everyone was curious! Humans liked sex. That had to be it. They just liked it so much that of course that would be the first word that they would want to know. It just meant she'd need to get more used to hearing the word, perhaps even witnessing the act much more frequently than she was accustomed to. Heck, perhaps even participating herself! How much do Humans do it? Do they always think about sex? In what way is it different? She had so many questions herself now, and these questions rattled around within her mind enough that they almost made her miss the man's next question. Was sex friendship in Luanari? It could be, of course, for a very tiny portion of the population. Some Luanari quite enjoyed the act, and those Luanari tended to become friendly with one another more so than those around them. But it was also such a small fraction that it didn't really count. He did not wish for her to feel awkward. Or nervous? Wait, what did that word mean again? Also he enjoyed, loved even, her very real happiness. By this point his words were starting to confuse her. Or perhaps her mind was simply too flustered to fully understand things. Then came the bombshell. Sex in the Human language meant sex in the Luanari tongue. It meant hoetha. Sex means hoetha. Yes. She didn't initially understand what he was trying to imply. When did she say that she wanted- Saex. Sex. Her face was a vibrant pink and her eyes glowed with a bright gold shine. One could almost imagine the steam erupting from her ears. I said I wished to mate with the captain. And the crew. I named a planet- the planet! Oh no! The planet! My planet! The Luanari crouched down, hands covering her face in embarrassment while her own tail lifted up to pat her atop the head as though it had a mind of its own, although perhaps in the moment it did. I am never going to live this down. Oh gosh. Dangit! But then her words weren't entirely untrue either. Attempting to mate with a Human was also sort of part of why she was here. Well, okay, not that specifically but determining just how compatible their species were, in all manners of speaking, was part of her mission! This was simply far sooner than she had anticipated. Fingers spread open and golden orbs peered out from behind him towards the Human. "Evee wont. . .want saex. Evee mebee want hoetha too. . .?" She paused, considering her words. What was the proper translation to continue that? Perhaps not the best place to leave off the question, which was mostly directed towards herself, but at the moment translating her feelings was not a simple task. "Mebee? Soon? In long teem. Tiom. Tiem? Evee mebee hoetha. With capteen. Crew." Eventually! Maybe! Just be straight forward here. Yes. That is the best way to do it, I think! I hope! The Luanari nodded to herself as she stood once more, hands lowering instead to fiddle together in front of her belly. Of course she had so many questions of her own! But then perhaps she should start with the most important one. The one which would establish the dynamics not just between the two of them, but perhaps between everyone aboard the ship! "Capteen want hoetha? Capteen hoetha with crew? How Humans work?"
  14. Building Human-Luanari relations while simultaneously assisting her fellow crew with their drought? Now thats Luanari efficiency!
  15. Her next planned steps were agreeable to the captain. Xyvee would get to know the crew better, and she would establish friendships with everyone! The captain was a good place to start. She would be serving under him, after all. But then that appeared to be going well already! I think checking in with my future friends in security next would be the smart play. We should be working much of the time together so it will be important that we become very close! Another squeeze upon her shoulder drew yet another flash of heat into her face! Thankfully it wasn't terribly much, and really only visible as a faint increase in the natural pink coloring of her cheeks. It wasn't as though anything unbecoming was happening, after all. In fact it appeared as though her captain had important matters to attend to within his quarters! Some sort of report, or set of reports. Still, there was the offer to visit him whenever she needed, and so the little Luanari set her right fist to her chest in a Luanari salute! "Evee coom to capteen eef need!" The Human had started to depart when another question was apparently considered. She heard his words, of course, and instantly set about translating them within her mind. What is. Okay. Luanari. Word. Um, wait. No, that word doesn't mean- wait. Huh? A tide of bright pink slowly rose across her face as Xyvee stood still in salute with both a smile and a rapidly developing mixed expression of confusion, curiosity, anxiety, and perhaps a hint of shock. Wait. Wait like sex? He wants to know the word for sex? Why does he want to know the word for sex? Of course she had heard rumors of this sort of thing. Humans were naturally far more affectionate creatures, as had already been established, but there had been talks from the researching circles that the Human proclivity for contact reached far beyond even that. Rumors that they would be very much inclined to breed with any other species that they discovered, Luanari included despite the difference in size. In fact some might even desire it more! Not that she wasn't curious herself about such things. Her natural curiosity was part of why she was chosen for this mission, and even she was aware of that. But things in their world worked much different. Rarely was such an act even indulged in save for the purpose of procreation. There wasn't a taboo against it or anything, it was just seen as something that was an inefficient use of one's time. And of course that too was the source of some rumors, that Humans would procreate anywhere and at any time, while a Luanarian meanwhile would typically only do so perhaps once at the end of the night within a rented room specifically designed for such tasks. Does captain wish to have sex!? With me?!? This is so sudden! So soon! Oh gosh! Roughly a minute had passed in awkward silence as the poor Luanari gradually became more and more flustered. Her tail had returned, now coiled down her right leg, squeezing while her entire body wiggled with unbridled nervous energy. It was of course a big step forward in Human-Luanari relations, one which she had expected to take much longer to occur, provided it ever did occur in the first place! But then perhaps this was part of serving aboard a Human vessel? Was it necessary to satisfy even this sort of request for her superiors!? Humans are so intense! Oh wait. Captain is still here! He awaits an answer! It's okay! You can do this Xyvee! You are ready for this! You were ready for this! The little creature tensed up, body straightening as she cleared her throat and did her very best to regain at least some semblance of composure! "Hooehtha." Hoetha in the Luanari tongue was, of course, to procreate. Intercourse. Sex. "Hoetha is eentoorcoors" Xyvee replied somewhat timidly, heart pounding within her chest. "Wee capteen woont know?" Well she did want to know more about Humans. This was bound to happen eventually! At least her captain was nice, right?
  16. If smut happens then it happens! That said I tend to err on the side of what the character would do myself. And who knows that could lead to smut too you never know! Also there are always non-canon ways things can play out too.
  17. @BladeRunner Did you find someone for Vulture to chill with? If not I can send Xyvee in and say it took place after whatever bridge shenanigans end up occurring!
  18. Who needs technology when you have extensive genetic modification and a heavy gravity world! Wait, what's that? Genetic modification is technology? Uhhh. . .yay technology!
  19. Xyvee and Warning are living amongst a land of giants!
  20. So I was also wondering how in depth we should get into the aspects of our transformations, specifically what details might be needed or wanted. Will there be combat and if so how fleshed out should we go into abilities? Any limits? Are they more specific or are general concepts fine? Who handles the baddies? How mortal are magical girls and knights? Are we talking Madoka style wherein they are very much not immortal?
  21. I'm fine with the speed of communication here personally.
  22. If I wanted to make a Semi-Human, as it were, would they feature bestial traits in both their transformed and non-transformed state? Or just the transformed state?
  23. The little creature nodded repeatedly. Although the Humans used a slight variation on the word, namely a sharper sound for the middle of it, saex was indeed the Luanari word for friendship! Of course his question made her wonder if it did in fact mean something else in their tongue. But then perhaps he was still just trying to get used to it? Weeth? With? With. Perhaps some examples might help? Yes! That would do the trick! "Evee maek saex with capteen." She pondered for a moment, finger lifting to tap at her lips in thought. Then she held it up! "Evee maek saex with Humans! With crew! Heev saex? Haev? Haev saex." One of those would surely click for them! A faint hint of warmth spread across the Luanari's face when she felt the Human's large hand settle and squeeze against her shoulder. Humans were often more touchy, more affectionate, than Luanari were. Or so she had heard and now she was experiencing for herself! Not that it was bad or anything. Actually it was quite the pleasant change of pace from her own people, even if she was somewhat easily flustered. Her smile widened as a confirmation was made for the chosen name of her planet! So caught up was she in the moment of history that she didn't even think to ask in the moment if there was some other meaning in the Human tongue. Also distracting was the captain's question, one which she first had to translate within her mind. An affirmation. Some thing which was shifted from one place to another. A question of what she would be doing next. Also, she was considered an explorer! That made her expression light up just a bit more and even had her currently mostly tucked away tail wiggling a slight bit against her seat. "Evee exploor Humans?" Indeed, the ship was righted and it would be some time before they would need to interact with it again. Now was an excellent time to explore not just her fellow crewmates, but Humans as a whole!
  24. Her captain smiled, a big happy one which clearly meant that he was excited with the name she had chosen! Perhaps he had studied some Luanari? Did he already know what it meant? Clearly her first assignment was going swimmingly! Of course he was hoping to double check that the word that she had stated was the same as what he'd heard. It would be important for updating the planet's new information in some registry somewhere. This was, after all, a historic moment! "Saex" Xyvee repeated, nodding approvingly. It was close enough to what she'd said. Already she was trying to translate within her mind how to spell it out in the Human language. From what she knew Humans actually had a bunch of different languages. Their people had abandoned such concepts long, long ago. One standardized language and writing system was simply more efficient. When Draven approached she sat up just a hint taller within her seat, not that it was noticeable or anything. Human fingers tapped away at the tablet that the man held. A question was asked. The definition of her people's word. Thankfully it was already something that she could translate. It had been a word often taught to her, as her people figured it might help in certain tense situations. In fact it had already helped their people before! During first contact it had proven instrumental in the easing of tensions between their people. Such was the power of saex that it even brought some Humans to an uncontrollable, happy, giggly state! "Saex is Human woed freensheep!" In that moment Xyvee was quite proud of herself.
