  1. I think this was this was the last thing you were considering, whether you wanted to stick to that or try something else. See if others have ideas, I might see if I can think of something, though my time to write over the weekend will be spotty with family visiting (and will be out a good chunk of tomorrow, related to that).
  2. Ryoko did not really have experience doing this, and was a little clumsy with the drunkenness. But she was not completely awful at it either. The examples she drew from were rather skilled, at least some of them. Women who could have taught her when she was younger, if she was not trying to escape that life. What would they say, if they saw her now? What would mom think? Thoughts she did not want to overly dwell on. There was a different between being a slut and a whore. That’s what she thought. A subtle but important difference. She might count as the former, especially in a place like this. But she did not want to become the later. She did not open her eyes yet. Did not know how the other two were reacting to her little show. It was mostly an excuse to stay nearby. Work off some of her own energy. But if they actually enjoyed it, that was a bonus. She did not mind putting on a show for others, having eyes on her. How long should the clothes stay on though? She did not take anything off yet, but teased at it a little, and at what was underneath. Hands touching herself, chest and hips, as she swayed, teasing at stripping, but not doing it yet. Hopefully it was a nice sight for both, though she was not sure how much the woman would enjoy it.
  3. Umi led the short way to the door, large, stone, covered in gems. It had no handle or knob. She put her hand on it, the gems glowed, and the door slid open as if it was light and easy to push. She stepped inside let the others follow, numerous shelves with many rows of books stood in front of them. Many sizes, most in elaborate covers, many showing their age. Some were one of a kind. It was a large enough collection to deserve to be called a library, far too much for a few people to read everything quickly. “Take a look, see if anything sticks that you might want to know. To help with the current problem, or anything else you might want to know. I will look as well.” Jumi was not completely surprised by Shinigami’s offer. Was happy she was considered cute. Of course she hoped to have another round of that experience, and honestly would be happy to let Mitsuko watch. This sort of thing got her worked up, but that would have to wait for later. For now she just followed into the library. “Not my first time in here, but it has been a while, and I’ve only looked a little in the past. No idea what we might be able to find. Look for any titles that stand out. They are reasonably well sorted.” There was no catalogue or guide though. Just labels on the shelves indicating various subjects.
  4. “Do not be concerned, it is our purpose to help, though this is a little different from the help we usually try to give.” Umi answered, they were more used to dealing with demons, trying to stop people from contacting them. This was mostly similar only in that they were figuring out how to handle a non-human. Trying to help one be accepted by humans was something new, but she felt it was the sort of help they were best to give. “You have a noble spirit and goal, we hope to help you find a place for her. We might have offered an invitation to stay here, but one can live in the temple by joining it. Be part of the family, by birth, or marriage. That being the case, we will do what we can to try to help be accepted living somewhere else.” They were getting close to the sealed door now. She kept an eye open to see if Nall was in fact in the area. That was a rather positive reaction, all things considered, maybe they were getting past that bad period. Though Jumi figured they probably did still need to have a longer talk later. She had no idea where this was going to go, but she had committed to sticking with both Mitsuko and Shinigami. The relationship with Mitsuko was clear, though not one she had experience with. With Shinigami it was less clear. But that was something to talk about later, figure out exactly what they were to each other. She was more positive about it now. That question was complicated by the unexpected kiss, causing Jumi to stop. Umi kept walking, partially to give privacy, also that they were close and the remaining path down the halls was not confusing. The two could easily catch up without getting lost. Jumi let the moment go where it would. It was not the time or place to do much more than kiss. The kiss itself could be short or long. She returned it, while she had shown a more dominant side before that dream, for now, she let Shinigami take the lead, decide how long this would be, if she took the opportunity Umi gave, for a moment with just her.
  5. Umi began leading them out of the small building back to the main one, a quick walk through the open air and back into the main building, leading the way down twisting halls towards their destination. She was still staying out of the mostly personal conversation, about whatever events brought the three together. She was not uncomfortable with it, but unless someone spoke to her, it seemed best to just let them all talk. Jumi had listened what Shinigami said, but they were getting into a tricky and heavy subject. Revisiting all the trouble they had back at the manor, her unexpected breakdown. It was true, they probably did need to talk more about it. But not in great length or detail at the moment. “You are right, we need to talk more. But let’s focus on the research for now, see if we can find a way to get you home without trouble. We can talk then. For now, well a lot happened, like you know, I originally came along for Mitsuko’s sake. But you proved you were not like the demons, and I don’t abandon someone who is not an enemy, especially since I was involved in the loss of your home.” There were complicated feelings, good and bad, to resolve. Later. It was not just for Mitsuko’s sake she was doing this. The whole dream and its results were partially responsible for the loss of the manor, though Shinigami’s rebelliousness might have eventually led to trouble with her mother. But this was also just the right thing to do, after seeing Shinigami was not an enemy or threat.
  6. Exzel could not speak an answer, but her mouth was answering, for the guard. Zorn could see the pleasure on his face, he probably never had a mate as skilled as Exzel, and she appeared to be doing it because she wanted to, rather than obligation or manipulation. He could imagine she could rather easily use such skills for manipulation, if she chose. The guards had to focus to keep his footing. Still this was a reaction he could use for his little game. That ‘Alexandrine’ was giving in. He would ignore the actual source of the skill, for the moment. “Oh look at that….the Sorceress clearly has some experience…but have you ever done that for a human?” It was familiar, he had watched Emiri slowly give in. She hated it at fist, but it slowly shifted. Now he had to suspect she would find humans much less appealing than demons. “You are starting to want it after all? I’ll wait to hear your answer. He should not take long. But should give his companion a turn soon too. Mouth or otherwise.” The guard would clearly not last much longer. He might not either, but he wanted to see what ‘Alexandrine’ would say, when her mouth was free. He would indulge Exzel, if she was now in the mood to have several mates, he would let her. Let her choose if she kept up the illusion or not.
  7. Ryoko was far enough she could not hear a lot of what was being said. That suited her mostly. Other than the concern over them being law enforcement and maybe looking for her, she was not too concerned with what they said. She respected people’s privacy in that sense. But no thoughts on whether or not she knew or had experience with the Julius Evi was investigating. She might have been a natural person to ask though, That said she was hoping to see something that was normally very private, but often not private in a place like this. She was not watching them either just yet, still deciding what to do. She said at the bar she was not much of a dancer, in addition to Marty’s opposition to this. But Mary was opposed to hiring her, this still was customers to use. The drunkenness was starting to have an effect on her, and there was not much of a crowd yet. She did not feel like going back to Dai yet, she was hoping for something newer tonight. Maray was potentially an option, but one that had to be paid for, and she had personal issues paying for sex, though it was not an impossibility. Mostly she was just listening for sounds of the two trying to get away, or it becoming more exciting. Should she dance though? She had her doubts it would be that appealing. But maybe one or both would appreciate it. She was not doing it out of desperation after all. It was a bit of an excuse to stick around them. Could it be fun? If she began to undress or completely undressed, it would maybe help, she had a body worth looking at at least, she had no insecurity about that. She stepped into the chamber. Took a deep breath. She turned so she was facing the pair, though her eyes were closed, as she concentrated, trying to reduce the clumsiness of being drunk, though she could only partially succeed. She tried to remember things she saw at home growing up, or watching videos, or other women here. All her clothes were for the the moment, but her body began swaying, getting into the spirit, she would try to give it her own touch, if she had the chance to keep it going without interruption, or them wandering off.
  8. One of the things eating my time, especially on the weekends, is finally done. Work writing time may remain limited, but hopefully will pick up frequency after work and on weekends from here on (except next weekend, when I’ll have family over). Should get reply here and elsewhere in the morning.
  9. Umi did not show reaction to what was said. She was interested in figuring things out. What Shinigami’s mother really was, perhaps that creature as well, but she ignored anything more personal about the trio. As for Nall “I watched him come out here, but did not watch where he went, though I would suspect he has remained close. Especially with our destination sealed until we arrive.” Though perhaps he was waiting at the door to the library, if he found the way. Whatever the case she suspected they would find him soon enough. Jumi was caught off guard with talk of pets. She assumed it was not that serious, since it seemed to be a sensitive subject for her, other times she mentioned it. Also assumed she wasvnotnsaying she already was someone’s pet. As for it being a solution, well that was complicated. She considered how to answer that, as she finished dressing. Whether Shinigami expected a serious or teasing answer. Her answer was maybe a mix of both. “Who could say? Even among Magical Girls and Knights, no one has a pet like you in any way.” This was not the time to return to her daydreams from the manor, wondering what that would be like. She would only consider it if Shinigami seemed up for it. But even if she was, the question of how people would react to something like Shinigami as a pet was rather difficult to guess.
  10. It’s a good question, one I thought about some today, but did not come up with a good answer. Have been rather flexible with the settling, for the most part allowing people to do what they want. I can see the argument both ways for whether or not the mother is actually death. As for the library, the goal really is to see whether or not they can find anything that will help Shinigami find acceptance, which may or may not include information about the mother. Or they could look for other help, if they want to try praying to Maxim. It’s not impossible they could some form of help or another from there.
  11. Ryoko stumbled off her stool. But quickly got her footing back. She could handle being this drunk. She was not going to fall, or get sick. She had her destination in mind. She knew where they were going. Good place for quiet, at least until the crowd got bigger. She slowly made her way up. Too late to hear Evi’s explanation, which would have made her more at ease. But she still had another reason for being here. And she hoped to succeed. They did choose the main bar, fair enough. She made her way up the rest of the way. But how to be less suspicious? Granted she might not be able to get away with, especially while drunk. But she had to try to make it look like she had her own reasons to be here. And there was something convenient in that smaller bar! Without looking at the pair, she walked uneasily over to one of the empty dancing chambers. Should she use it? Maray thought it was a bad idea, she was not sure, but she was considering it.
  12. How much did she really know? Umi thought that was an interesting question, but more Jumi and Mitsuko’s business than hers. After they were done with today’s research it might be quite awhile before she saw them again. So she would not be the one to push for more definitive answers. Jumi did not judge anything that was said, would also wait to see if they found anything in library before asking too much more about anything Shinigami might know. She would not push for how willing Shinigami was with her ‘mother’ or the implications of the two of them doing that sort of thing. It did bring of more questions about her potential ‘father’, if she had one. For now she only had one to wonder about all of that. “I suppose she did it more willingly with those, than you?” It reminded her of what she had told Mitsuko during the convention. About how some Magical Girls went looking for tentacles, or even if they did not want it to happen, enjoyed it in the moment while demons used them for pleasure.
  13. Ryoko was not really suggesting anything negative about Dalton's motives, the point the drunk woman was trying to make was just that it was boring to waste time talking about other sorts of business here. It was frustrating to see them begin to wander off. That was another thing, there was a fine line to tread here. It was not right to be too pushy, to do anything someone else found uncomfortable, but true privacy as not easy to get here. More of an issue with a bigger crowd. But even with a small crowd it you could not be too surprised if someone at least followed you. Waiting to see what happened, looking for an opening. The other girl was new, she might not understand, but if this Dalton had been here before, he should already be aware of that. Of course the drunkenness was part of the issue. But there were other factors. She was still suspicious if they were law enforcement or not. Of course, if they were, it was probably better to keep a distance. But you did not always make smart decisions when you were drunk, or lived the life Ryoko had. There was another factor too. One she waited until the other two had walked a bit away to say. "...Wanna show...dammit!." She was going to be incredibly disappointed if she missed that girl's first time, especially if they did it somewhere in the open. "Try not to do anything too stupid." Dai warned, believing it was pointless to try to stop her at this point, though it was far from certain how successful she would be. Especially as she was finishing her drink, only feeling stronger about the idea of following those two. While Dai was inclined to stay where he was, keep Maray company, see if anyone else interesting showed up.
  14. It is only a very very loose plan. She's going to do what she is going to do, and will see what happens.
  15. I'll throw up a little post, in the main bar, mostly Ryoko thinking to herself, maybe/maybe not a little with Dai. Then see if she chooses to follow after you two both move (Gard has already posted there).
  16. Might have to shake off Ryoko (not saying she is going to successfully stick to them long term, but she might not just watch them walk away either).
  17. “Do not be concerned, there is nothing wrong with what you said.” Umi answers Mitsuko, not really surprised about anything she heard in that sense. It was more obvious with Jumi and Mitsuko, but she had a guess of how the three felt after watching them interact as they ate. But she gave Shinigami an answer quick as well. “The little I heard, I cannot say anything about this ‘Death’, whether she is human or not. Though if she is not, there may be something about her in the library. None of us know all the information present in it.” That spoke to the size of it and variety of information in it. Many of the books were old and valuable enough they were not casually read without good reason. “As for Mitsuko’s wondering whether she could be another Magical Girl…” ”…It would be troubling if one capable of so much had managed to hide for this long, or to consider where she might have got such power.” She would not completely rule it out, though like Jumi, she was a little skeptical. It sounded like something beyond human power.
  18. Jumi had wondered if Shinigami took over someone else’s house back when they first arrived there, though it appeared less likely as they went. It seemed to be the work of the mother after all, unfortunately, there were no new hints of who she was from that question. If she was not human, and was old enough, maybe the library here would have something, it was the only chance she could think of finding such information. It was hard to imagine any other source out there. She did not comment on anything said, though it made her feel a little better about this, maybe reduced so e of that lingering unease. She did not ant to dwell on that last encounter with the mother and what Shinigami went through. Or questions about the creation. Whether Shinigami was created purely through magic, or if there was some sort of father, and who or what that might be. She stood up. “Yeah, if we don’t want to spend a few days here, probably good to get over there soon, and begin looking.” She made her way to the door, where Umi was standing, holding towels, she handed one to Jumi but said nothing about the conversation in the baths, simply waited for Mitsuko and Shinigami to come, to give them towels and let them dry and get dressed.
  19. Drunk Ryoko has been unleashed. That chaos will continue, but will have to see where it goes now.
  20. Well, that was a lot to take in. Alexandrine’s years of experience told her to tell him he should not be so open with that information, especially as she had not said she was a Magical Girl, though apparently the butler guessed it. She bit her tongue though. It was not her place to lecture him. She was not too surprised Exzel was here, but she did not recognize the other name the butler mentioned. It was rather unfortunate she got raped again, one she would probably take much less well than Exzel. But hopefully Exzel was able to comfort her through it. The talk of family made her uneasy, she wondered if she should ask the butler about what she heard. See if he knew anything. Better to wait though. If Elie, she would ask her, otherwise she might consider asking the butler. She stepped inside, let him lead the way. “I already had breakfast. I will take some tea, if it isn’t too much trouble.” Best to be polite, take at least a little something as she waited fir Elie and maybe others.
  21. Jumi was a little uneasy about the brief tension, but it worked itself out. She was not really worried about any danger from Shingami at this point. Whether the mother was still a danger and what she really was was another question. Not one likely to be answered soon. It appeared Shinigami was unaware of the room she mentioned, or why the outside looked the way it did. Maybe a trick, maybe something else, but maybe it was not something to ignore completely. “Maybe it was a trick, but I’ll try thinking about it more and give details, if I remember any.” It would have to be seen if any of it sounded familiar to Shinigami. Hopefully she would remember it correctly, not have fuzzy memories due to it being a dream. One other thought occurred to her. “Have any idea how long ago she made that her home? How long she’s been around?” That might give a hint of the sort of creature she was, whether or not she was human, maybe give a hint of whether there was a chance of the temple library mentioning her.
  22. My guess is they were intending to talk business but might have gone to more. But things have shifted now. I’m up for it anyway.
  23. Great that Miu was still able to keep her fun going without coming down. Nadia can still get up to something, either before or after they finish.
  24. All five isn’t impossible, Dai might not be able to stay out of it.
