  1. “We can get you to the building at least, after we are done here. Perhaps we can help you get to the apartment as well.” Hikaru answered. Walking them to Jumi’s room was an option. Could try to help explains things, if they ran into anyone in the halls. Probably the safest way to do it, most likely way for people to listen. “Though I still intend to try o find something here that will help you more, after we eat, but before you leave.” Jumi was happy enough to hear ‘death’ probably would leave her alone. It seemed a little strange after what she said to her in the dream, but she would trust Shinigami’s word. Shinigami was the only one in the room who knew much about her mother. She just nodded while watching Nall a little, finding the excitement cute. “Something like the van then.” She was not surprised but relieved they would get the ride back, the escort would be a bonus. “We might get to the room without being seen, but hopefully we can find something that will continue to help.” The drive and escort would presumably save them from trouble today. The trick was finding something that would help in the coming days, avoiding having to try to keep Shinigami locked up in the room.
  2. “I have my own grudges against demons. Certain ones in particular. But I will not hold it against others. If you are with these two, I am sure you will find your chance to fight some soon enough, though they do not get close to these walls.” As Hikaru said this, one of the temple members stepped back into the room, set a plate with two fish on it, closer to Nall than the others. They were not sure others would want any, or how much Nall wanted, but they decided it was a safe amount to offer, that some could be shared if not. Jumi and Umi both knew what grudge Hikaru referred to, but did not say anything. Jumi believed Alexandrine must have told him, if he did not find out some other way, that Zorn was still alive. Better not to darken the mood with talk about him at the moment. Take a little more time to eat, then see if they could find anyway to help Shinigami. Hikaru was thinking about it a little, though nothing he was very sure about yet. Jumi did offer a little more though. ”I briefly met her mother. Twice. Once by myself in a dream, or something that like one. And once as a group. She claimed to have some interest in me, or maybe my soul, that first time. Though I managed to get myself out of it. After the second time, it sounded like she just wanted to watch. See whether we can succeed in this attempt to help Shinigami. Though I did not spend enough time around her in either meeting to get a deep understanding of her.” Dangerous. Perhaps a word Jumi would use. But she could not offer much insight into the sort of entity she was, beyond Shinigami’s description of ‘death’.
  3. A child of death itself, was how she put it. Something that could make many afraid if they knew. Something the average person might compare to a demon. Perhaps more comparable to the child of a goddess though. Or something even more fundamental? It was an interesting philosophical question. “That sadly is a fear others may have. We have to find a way to convince them otherwise. As for me…” An answer why he trusted her not to be a threat. “Jumi brought you here, and I trust her judgement. You had an opportunity to hurt or Mitsuko, if you had wanted to. You are more honest than demons who try to trick us. The ones that only pretend to be friends tend to either disguise themselves as humans, or offer power or some other reward for their corruption. If you had used some power to influence one or both of them, even if it was different from demon’s, I or Umi should be able to sense it.” He was reminded of the mark the demon left on Elie. Neither Jumi nor Mitsuko seemed to have anything like that. ”In short, I have more awareness and knowledge of such things, compared to most humans. And power to protect myself. But you have not given me a reason to mistrust you either.” Not that he would be blind if that changed. But so far Shinigami appeared to have been completely honest, and he would give her the benefit of trusting that she was not a threat. He was not going to be suspicious to a degree Shinigami did not appear to deserve.
  4. Ryoko took the initiative. But set it up so "Johnny" could take over, after people get inside.
  5. A crowd had begun to form behind Dai. As he waited for the doors to open, he occasionally took a look back or listened. Of those close to him there appeared to be no one familiar yet. Probably no one who would recognize him, either from here or his work. A rather cute woman behind him. But someone else spoke to her first. While he was not against sharing a woman, she appeared to be a quiet one, was that a bit much for her? Either way, he was less likely to but into their conversation, unless invited. Especially when they were still outside. Maybe that would change after they got inside and everyone loosened up. Would also depend if he found someone else before then. The man had apparently been here before as well, so it was not a case where he could offer any advice to two brand new people. But there was a shift. It was about time for the opening. They could continue their conversation inside, he might or might not follow depending on where they went. It would almost be stranger if he didn’t, before they got more of a crowd and depending on where they went. But the face at the door surprised him. “You don’t work here, Ryoko.” Another regular he had met…among other things from time to time. The woman gestured back to a man inside walking towards her. “It’s okay. See, Johnny is coming over. He told me it was fine to open the doors, Dai. Didn’t you tell me you come here to relax, get away from all the rules?” Dai shrugged and walked past his acquaintance. Leaving her to greet the others behind him at least for a few minutes. He stepped further into the lounge, but somewhat followed Ryoko’s example, waiting to get a sense of who was coming in and where they went.
  6. Alright, let’s see what we’ve got going here. Whether Dai tries to join in a conversation, or I find a way to get them in. Maybe Ryoko will bend the rules to help out herself.
  7. Shinigami’s name for her mother was unexpected. Hikaru had never heard anything like that before. But was it an entity he had never heard of, or a name he knew but in an unknown language? Perhaps he could be the one to learn something. He would not push on the reasons for her being mortal now. It sounded like something closer to demon behavior from Shinigami’s mother. But some humans were capable of actions as harsh as that. Certainly getting too close to certain types of non-humans often lead to bad treatment. ”I have never heard a name like that, though perhaps it just the language I do not know. What sort of entity would you consider her? Or is she perhaps something more difficult to classify?” Similarly he did not push for details on the daughter/creation distinction. Birthed without a father? Created through magic or some other power? It probably was not important, though he might ask later, if he thought it might help lead to a solution.
  8. Yeah, want to keep things moving better than the Hotel. But I’m fighting my war with sleep and will be out tomorrow, but once I’m back we can get this going along with me getting replies in other places.
  9. I figure wait just a little more, see if anyone else joins the line. But maybe write it tomorrow evening maybe (no specific time, whatever works).
  10. He was certainly touching Catherine in ways she had not been previously. Whether that was good or bad was another matter. Her husband never had reached back there. It was not the first time a mouth had worked in that spot, but it felt more twisted. Her body continued to react, not caring how much she hated it. She could not shake him off. She was sure he would only gloat more about her reactions. Growing more wet, her body assuming the shaft he teased would be plunged in sooner or later. But no, she did not intend to beg for it. Whether he was right or wrong, she was not easily or quickly going to give in. Was there some god or goddess out there? She did not expect to be saved tonight, but she silently cried out for any of them to find a way to help her. While she began to breathe deeper. She hoped her body would not betray her with an orgasm. So far she would not give him the satisfaction of a moan either.
  11. “I do believe we have some.” Hikaru nodded to the others, who left to check if they had any fish, prepare it if they did. Leaving the smaller group alone. He also realized what Nall was and considered it proper to give him any they had, it was not a big deal to him. They did not overly plan out meals to the point that giving a guest what they wanted complicated things much. Jumi similarly hoped this did not get tense. But it did not seem like Shinigami was going to do anything hostile. She trusted Shinigami that much. She was also confident Hikaru would not get very offended as long as that was the case. “Umi advised you were not a demon. I can see that is the case.” As a non-human, he also understood Shinigami might not always act the way one would expect, would not hold any accidental offense against her. ”You do not appear to fall under the umbrella of what we traditionally call monsters either. Nor the guardians.” Descendant of a god, life himself, but earlier generation? Perhaps. “If you do not mind, what would you consider yourself?” Would it help find an answer of how to help her? Maybe, maybe not. But he did not want to consider or think of her as something she was not. But then, was she something new or unknown?
  12. Right now, Ryoko is inside, but hanging near the entrance. Believe it is just her and the two staff characters inside. Probably be just some minor character (just for that purpose) to let them in, but could be open on who plays it,
  13. Getting the crowd together. Will give a little more time to see if Sammi and/or our bar critic to be show up in the line. Otherwise figure out how to get them in.
  14. Jumi did not know if Mitsuko planned to sit in her lap the whole meal, but certainly would not complain if she did. She was not worried about Hikaru seeing it, in her experience, he was a rather serious man, but did not get bothered by little things either. Would probably act like he did not even notice. Though she might not feed Mitsuko like this the whole time, it was nice to do in the moment. No one else seemed to care. Other than the bedrooms, this was probably was the least formal place in the whole temple complex. This was too cute to stop, she would probably let Mitsuko eat the rest of it out of her hand, if she wanted. Another moment later, he stepped in. Serious face, formally dressed in the temple robes. He looked over the group, all new faces, except Umi and Jumi. He did not show any sign of being bothered by what the two were doing, though he had not seen Jumi act like that before. “Forgive me, I had temple business to resolve before coming to greet you. Umi told me a bit about why you are here. Hikaru Shinkawa. Knight, and head of this temple.” He introduced himself, and took a seat next to Umi, similarly unbothered by the sight of Shinigami. As he sat several other members of the temple stepped in, bringing several plates, with a variety of foods, onto the table, as well as silverware and an empty plate for each of them to put their portions on. “If you desire anything more specific, I can see if we have any.” He offered the possibility of a little more being added, the other temple members waiting to see if they should find and prepare anything else.
  15. A more positive reaction from Shinigami, the sort that made Jumi more optimistic, though it might still take her some time to get over it completely. She was getting less worried about Shinigami causing any trouble, though they still had to figure out how to keep humans from seeing her as a threat. At least Umi was not showing much reaction to what she said in answer to Shinigami's question. Keeping any thoughts to herself and a blank face as she ate a little of one of the rolls. But then Mitsuko came back. She was not exactly embarrassed by her hearing any of that, but again, felt it was not the ideal moment to say things like that. To her, or about her. But it was probably all stuff Mitsuko already understood. She had said at least most of it already, if not in those exact words. Umi was again silent but kept eating a little. smiling a bit, not complaining or commenting on her choice of Jumi as a seat. It was nice to see such things, in the temple itself you rarely got sights like that. "I'm glad to hear it. I thought you might have that sort of spirit and strength. You have potential. Good timing too. It won't be long be long before the rest of the food, and Hikaru arrive. You can get to know him a little, feel free to ask questions. But we will seriously think about what to do after we have ate." Jumi watched Mitsuko give Shinigami the kiss and come over to her. She was a little surprised but happy about Mitsuko's show of affection, putting an arm around her, and in a moment of impulse, offering the partially ate roll, holding it up near her lips. Sure, this was arguably not the ideal time or place to do something like that, but after Shinigami got her to answer that question, she felt a short, cute flirty moment was harmless.
  16. As the evening approached, a car drove up, near the doors to the club. A rather luxurious one, though not a limo or anything like that. Ordinary sized. A man stepped out from the back. Closed the door and let it drive off. He had done this before, made arrangements on when to be picked up. Just safer not to leave a car like that out, in a place like this. He took a deep breath of the air, checked the time. Early enough he might have to wait a bit, but not too long. He dressed well, well off, though he was not so famous to be a celebrity. He did have some fame in his industry though. He had just spent another day at work. Managing a number of idols. Beautiful women. Often not wearing much. Dancing in ways to draw your eyes, singing about love and desire. Oh he had been tempted to have some private time with more than one over the years. Some in his job did that. He was a professional though. He had to keep work separate. He also worked too much to look into things like love and marriage. When he sought….intimate partnership, this was his preferred destination. It was always interesting to see who would show up, many interesting women came seeking the same thing. It was often a new one each time, though occasionally he found himself finding someone from another day and having a second round. He walked up to the door, waiting to see if anyone would come to let him in. Or if he might meet anyone else looking to visit while they waited. Maybe he could get a chance to take initiative with one of the women, he did not mind chatting a little, if it happened to be another came, who came to wait for the doors opening with him.
  17. Not guilty, for reasons, I have never made any sort of speech/report/read anything else in front of a group in my life, not even when I was in school. The next person has bought a board game/book RPG in a completely different language, just in case somehow, someday, you can eventually play it.
  18. Umi silently listened to the talk of other gods. Names she had heard of, but did not know a lot about. That could be a complication, but they were connected to Mitsuko, not Shinigami. Perhaps they could still obtain Maxim’s aid in one way or another. “She has been chosen for a difficult life. She can not be blamed for the difficulty in adjusting. But with support, she should be able to find happiness.” To be chosen by a greater power, it carried responsibility, burdens. But while it was another god who made the choice than the one she worshipped, she trusted Mitsuko was chosen for good reason. Mitsuko would also hopefully find happiness in what they fought for. Jumi was taking her time to eat a little, intent on letting Umi do the talking, but not eating too much before the main meal arrived. But then she was asked a question. Why that question? She had to remind herself Shinigami was not human, did not necessarily know or care that there right times and places to ask a question that more private, for the two of them and Mitsuko. It was a complicated thing too, a sort of relationship she had avoided up until now. It was not necessarily something she could put into words as well as she would like. ”I am her mentor, ally. Will help her learn this life, learn to fight. I am happy she wants to protect me, but until she is more experienced, it is my responsibility to protect her. I intend to stay by my side. She is my partner in all of this.” A word she chose intentionally. Applying both to them as Magical Girls, but their life in general. She would still have other companions in bed, she seemed to have opened Mitsuko’s mind to doing the same. But Mitsuko was the first, man or woman, that she begun to shift into a more serious relationship with.
  19. Knowing Exzel did not mind either way, Zorn was not about to follow that demand. He had longed to do this to Alexandrine for some time. It did not matter that he almost certain there would be no child, he never pulled out of a woman he mated with, demon or human. A demon he considered his equal, like Exzel, was the only one he would consider doing so for, if that was her wish. ”Listen to you. Are you that ashamed to deny it? Maybe we have to keep going…but first….” He let out a groan as the demonic seed was released in a strong burst. Filling her, but he only paused a second before going again. “You need to learn to be more honest, don’t worry I have more for you.” It might not be that much longer, but he felt they were both eager for more in the moment. The guard took a moment to undo the belt, drop the coverings over his own hard shaft. “Let’s see how much she can deny it, when she is doing some of the work.” He said with some eagerness, taking the chance to push it into her mouth mid-scream of pleasure. He prepared himself for a bite, but after that reaction, expected the supposed human to develop a taste for what was in her mouth.
  20. Zorn believed he understood what Exzel was trying to tell him with her body. It was amusing, and arousing, to see her trying to break free, when she really wanted more. How long would she pretended she hated it, or delay reaching the peak of her pleasure. “That’s not much of an answer…your reactions do not seem to be pain, how long can you lie to yourself?” He adjusted his movements to hit Exzel in the places she wanted, while not letting go. The one guard held her in place, controlling his lust as the mouth drew close. “So many of them are like this. Hate us so much, hate how often we satisfy them.” The guard gloated a little. Of course many genuinely hated it, but like Zorn, this was not the first he had seen react than like this to a demon taking them. Was it the taboo? That they were not human? Better than humans? It was a fun thing to think about, though none of them thought that hard about it. “If she stops squirming and looks like she wants it, give her a taste.” Zorn gave the guard potential permission to join in, though the moment was not quite there yet.
  21. I’ll probably still try to write up a Dai intro today, how early depends on how annoying work is. We can figure out how they get in as we go, or if we just want them all to go in.
  22. We got two who joined in April, before that we had a few months as a private club, where the only people who were invited were Gardsorm and TokyoRose.
  23. Jumi was relieved a bit by that response. She did believe progress had been made, but she was still clearly a little shaken up by that fight. By how offended Shinigame had been in that moment, but maybe it was just a one time thing. If it was, maybe she could shake this off eventually. Get that old spirit back. She was considering whether or not to say more, it looked like Shinigami might want to wait until Mitsuko and/or Umi returned. Fortunately, Umi stepped back in. ”Ah, Mitsuko will be back in a little. She, just wanted a walk.” Jumi spoke up as Umi noticed her absence. Umi nodded. “Hikaru is here. He will be joining us shortly.” She took a seat, as a member of the temple brought out a little to start with, almost restaurant style, a basket filled with rolls, placed in the middle of the table. “More will be coming shortly. Please take some, if you like.” She was not sure if it was the sort of thing Shinigami or Nall would like but Jumi took some, as well as herself. “If Mitsuko does not return before we discuss serious matters, we can look for her. But we can take a moment to eat and wait for Hikaru.”
  24. For Maray, depends if she interacts with Ryoko much or not. If not, yeah, probably put her in the bar. We’ll see how quickly people write the intros. I can probably get one up for Dai tomorrow. We can either move them along one or two at a time, or a group, depending on how it goes.
