The two groups is probably better, especially if it can balance everyone’s private requests. Though I would not rule out the 3 groups idea. As for the ideas, I think 4, 5 & 7 would be my favorites, though like I said, I would be up for the others too.

“Let’s not get too focused on that, there is plenty of time to figure it out.” The question of friend, girlfriend, or whatever else was not something they had to rush to figure out. It was an answer that might shift over time. As close as they had gotten, it was only a matter of days since they met. Between both being Magical Girls, living together, they would be around each other a great deal. Maybe it would be something more in time, they would have to wait and see. Let Mitsuko explore the side of things she had been introduced to. The fun side of what came with all the fighting. A lifestyle she probably never expected to indulge in. Nymphia, Shinigami, other girls they may not have met. Would Mitsuko go as far though? For her it was not just Magical Girls or Knights. Jumi tended to get involved with people like friends or sometime coworkers in her civilian life as well. But that sort of thing might have to paused until they figured out Shinigami. ”It’s natural curiosity you know. I’ve been on the receiving end a lot more than you. Occasionally the giving end, though just with plastic. But always wondered what it felt like for the guys, or Shinigami.” She elaborated. The whole process interested her. She had a guess it felt better for women, but maybe sometimes easier or quicker for men. Different, but probably still quite enjoyable. She had never expected to have the chance to experience it, but the small chance put it on her mind again. ”That said, I doubt there is any magic that allows it. Some demons or other non-humans like Shinigami have both. Sometime all times, sometimes temporarily. Never heard of a way for humans to do it, a god may be the only way to make it possible. Closest I’ve heard are the few Magical Girls that are gender benders. There are a few guys out there, that become Magical Girls, instead of Knights, when they transform. Though it is rare, and no mixed transformations.” Maybe there were other options, but she was skeptical. The idea remained appealing. If she had a chance, she would try it, but it did not seem likely to happen and she was not bothered by it. Just an appealing little fantasy. ”I did say I would give you some of it the way I can. After we get home. That is good, even with plastic, especially when the girl wants it like that.” She added as she finished getting dressed. “I don’t know how Umi will react, once she understands Shinigami’s interest. But I suspect she will enjoy it. Should not let those two have all the fun though.” She had known Umi for a while, got along, but they were not close friends. She did not really know what Umi thought or felt about sexual things. But she did not expect Umi to be against the idea, if Shinigami wanted it. An interesting way to have her first time, someone not human. Mostly woman, but with a man’s equipment as well. It would be interesting to see how Umi, after it was over. If she acted any differently. But Mitsuko was the focus for a while now. Jumi’s mind focused on her. She stepped over, looked down on her with an eager smile. “I do look forward to the looks on your face, the sounds you make, when we get back. But for now…”. She pounced onto the bed, onto Mitsuko, with crowded it was. Mostly feeling the body beneath her, little room to move around. “You were too worn out to give Alexandrine much. Understandable but I wonder how much you want now?” Before Mitsuko could answer, their lips locked. It was a long kiss, deep. Her tongue plunged in. It was a long one, maybe a few minutes. Lust and other feelings mixed in. She looked down into Mitsuko’s eyes, curious about her answer. A thought occurring to her, but waiting a moment to speak it. “I could get one of the objects, before we are done. Test to see if it works. Would be no great inconvenience. But that can wait until the rest of the process is done.” Umi was willing to give it a try, just put off needless back and forth. Wait until everything else they might wish to do was completed. Better to do everything they could do without leaving the room first. If it failed, then they could consider something else. She paused after Shinigami’s other suggestion though. Her hands had not wandered to Shinigami’s more intimate places. Not out of any discomfort or issue. But she rarely thought about sexual matters. Did not expect to cross that line until her wedding night. She was not having such thoughts about Shinigami, even if she thought the sight was appealing. It did not occur to her that Shinigami might have any desire for her either. “Exciting in what way? Some other use of your power that might surprise me?” With her current thought process, that seemed most likely. She was open minded to suggestions though. Wondering what Shinigami might consider exciting.

We still splitting people into two games, or now now having one bigger group (don't know how practical that is, but if it works, it works)? I like all of them. After a little thought I may try to pick a few I like the most, a little later.

I might do a degree of that. But it will also at least somewhat depend on who I’m playing with and what they do (especially whether it is a man or woman. I’m open to playing both, but it could be influenced by who I am with and their characters).

That is one of the more interesting points, I still have to read more on. Keep me from thinking too much about a character ahead of time. Figure out if there is anything that I should consider before that whole process begins, but keep it to the little bit that might be encouraged to pre-decide.

Based on the 3-5 Isabella originally suggested, I think we are getting around the max for 2 games, but maybe a little more. See what she thinks. Will have to see too if everyone is still committed by the time all the information is given and set up is done, then figure out how to split people up (I have several people I would like to be with, but that is something for Isabella and the group to figure out).

I’ve been skimming this a little, especially after seeing the 2 game thing and everyone possibly being included. Have liked what I saw so far. Though should take some more time to completely read it, after work tonight, maybe a little during work, if it is light enough. Though yeah, interested to see the difference of exactly how this is played out compared to the sort of stuff I usually do.

Jumi was just rambling, personal thoughts, her own feelings what she thought about what Shinigami went through. Yeah, the apple was not going to be seriously explored. Just keep an eye on it for now. Consider if they tossed it at some later point. Comparing what Magical Girls went through, to what Shinigami endured. Considering what the average Magical Girl did or did not consider taboo. Worth a refresher, after everything they had been through. Probably worth avoiding taking any other big steps, beyond continuing with Shinigami. She was not in a rush to show off one of those tentacle spots and definitely was not inclined to let another demon take her. ”Well hopefully you won’t ever experience it. Can’t make any promises, but will fight my hardest to try to prevent it.” If it happened again, it was likely to happen to both of them at the same time. “Don’t intend to let that woman touch you either, human or not. I’m still not convinced she only wants our souls. Though that is probably what she wants most.” She added as she began to undress. ”Don’t you worry about it though. I’m personally happy to give the whole couple thing a try. More-so since you are opening to more. Shinigami, I suppose more serious for both of us, but others too. Of course, I would not be surprised if Umi does not have the Shinigami experience before the night is over. Especially if she shows any desire for it to Shinigami.” She let out a soft sigh, considering what might have been. “That was one reason I was curious about the offer to Shinigami. Maybe learning what it felt like to do that with you.” Feel it the way Shinigami or a boy did. She had offered using toys kind of like that earlier, but that had one chance to feel it with the real thing. Would have been fun to learn, but would remain a mystery. She was not going to be angry about it. She did understand Shinigami’s opposition to the idea and respected it. Umi considered the question, and bit of elaboration Shinigami gave. Her hand froze when temporarily enchained. Surprised, but she did not show any fear, not believing Shinigami would cause any harm, or misuse the power. The hand began to roam again after it was released, this time up to the neck first, but was careful not to make any movement that could be considered a chocking gesture, then the mouth. Reaching under the lip, running across the rows of teeth. A piece of her closer to a carnivorous animal, though she did not imagine Shinigami hunted for food like that. “That is perhaps possible. I can not say with certainty we have anything that could store power of yours. But it is possible.” Being something of a unique creature, and still only vaguely aware of Shinigami’s powers. Umi could not say anything certain. But there were some objects that just might have been able to store such power, especially if freely given.

Will wait and see if the above is my debut into TTRPGs or not (with all the interest, not looking likely, but not ruling it out either, wait and see, maybe research the system as it is decided who will be picked, especially if it looks more likely i might be included). In the meantime, time to consider my previously mentioned library. Gathered over many years (the oldest originally my dad's), never played some of the older ones casually read years ago, just as something fun to read. Previously mentioned 1st edition AD&D (a few corebooks and one setting box), plus a few 2nd edition setting boxes. MERP (Middle-Earth Role Playing), big mix of 1st and 2nd edition. AD&D 1st edition and some of the MERP was the part that was originally my dad's, but I built on the MERP. Rolemaster. Core books. Could maybe be called Advanced MERP, without the MERP built in (though it is compatible with MERP, and MERP books have stats and such for using with Rolemaster but can also be played with a few other settings or player invented settings). Mekton. A anime-mecha inspired system, setting invented by the writers. A more recent acquisition. Have not read much of it. Star Wars (West End Games). One I read quite a bit as a kid, developed at a fun point in franchise history, before the prequels were made. An early developer of the old "Legends" expanded universe. I had actually made a club dedicated to this. But without much interest, deleted it since I needed to free a slot to take over a different one. Babylon 5 (D20 system). Based on a (semi?) obscure sci-fi TV series in the 90s, source of 'Satai'. Bought the full set, should be fun to at least read at some point. Dune: Adventures in the Imperium. Game based naturally on the book series of the same name (like I said in the last post, a whole lot of licensed setting books, the ones that aren't are the exceptions). Maid: The Role-Playing Game (one of the few exceptions to that, along with Rolemaster and potentially AD&D). Single book focused on exactly what the title implies (though I believe there are some other options to play). Tenchi Muyo! RPG and Resource Book. Single book, based on the anime of the same name. One that has grown much more obscure with age. Believe that is the full list, system-wise. Have to see how many I take the time to read/reread.

Turned out to be a rather popular idea. While I still have interest, I think I have to pull myself back to a backup maybe. Mention me, if it looks like there is a chance of me being one of them and to go over details.

I know at least @Chiyakoand @DreamsnThingsshowed some interest when this was brought up in the general thread. Should give them a chance to see if they like the details.

I was one of at least a few people who showed a degree of interest in the general OOC (not sure how many of them will see this), if some of the others do show interest here (people I have enjoyed other non-TT RPs with in the past, along with the chance to maybe do something with you again), I would put myself in the maybe category. I would put that as a maybe, though, with what I said over there. 1. Again, I have no experience actually playing anything like this. Let you judge how much of that is an issue, and how easy it would be for someone like me to be involved. 2. I'm been working myself out of a slow writing phase. I'm finally starting to pick up again, but still working on that.

Jumi went into a mode of sorts to follow up on that subject without being tormented by any of her own feelings about it. “Having experienced something sort of like that, could understand if Shinigami hated it, but won’t judge her if she enjoyed it in the moment…it’s complicated like that. Fight it so hard, hate it afterwards…but what some feel while it happening, is complicated. Kind of like the girls I told you about, who go looking for tentacle monsters. Do it their way, when they want.” The taboo of letting something nonhuman have sex with you. A demon or monster was one thing. Sometimes you could not help yourself while it was happening, wanting more, for it to go longer. Knowing it was wrong for an enemy to please you so much, but not being able to hide how good it felt. The Broken Girls gave into it. Tentacle monsters were not as taboo though. Demons sometimes used them as weapons, but most were purely instinctual. In the wild, there was no evil intention, just the desire to breed, and needing a host. It was one thing to admit you enjoyed it while it was happening, but if someone said or hinted they wanted let a demon have them, that was something to worry about. Have a serious talk. Tentacle monsters, some looked down on the girls who wanted them. But it was not taboo and such opinions were rarely voiced. That was the danger here of course. Shinigami was not a demon, was not trying to break them. But convincing most people would be difficult. She could see how it looked to others. “I really was a curious. Would have taken Maxim’s offer, if Shinigami agreed. Though I was not surprised she refused, and understand why she did not like it. But to temporarily have a body like hers, could have been interesting.” Interesting in a number of ways. Her mood was a little lighter as she spoke about that. “Can’t imagine taking a bite out of this would do that though, that that woman would want to help us.” She quickly added, as she set the apple on the middle of the table. She stood up, stretched a little. “It is a little cramped for two people. But can’t refuse my cute girlfriend, if that is what she wants.” This was all both new and familiar to her. She was used to sleeping with others, both men and women, but it was more casual. Sometimes random, like the night they met. Sometimes friends. Another team member was probably the strongest bond. She was still new to sleeping with someone as a proper couple. But that was the sort of thing that was fun to learn. “Give me a moment to undress and join you in whichever bed you pick”. “I may do that before we are done.” Umi potentially accepted the offer, if she had a reason, to get up there, but her examinations had not yet reached the point. And focused as she was, she was less likely to understand Shinigami’s offer or feel temptation without Shinigami being more blatant about it. Her focus on responsibility, discipline, not expecting to cross that line until her wedding night, rather than any prudishness or discomfort with Shinigami’s body, kept her from realizing they might do that before this was over or thinking much about it, though she could deny the sight of what Shinigami had was at least a…pleasant sight, if it did yet excite her much. Her hand roamed a little deeper in, getting a sense of how strong her body was, how apparent muscles were, if they different in any way. The hand roamed across her arm, upper leg, stomach, shoulder, and her breast. There was no hint of desire in the touch, even the groping of one of the breasts was part of the examination. Learning more about her body. ”Speaking of powers. What sort of powers do you intend to show me?” That was the most mysterious part of the offer to Umi, though she was interesting in learning any ways this body might be different as well. The powers did not seem like something that required a bed to experience. She was interested in hearing about them, depending on the answer, maybe experiencing them. ”Most of us do not have any ability to use Magic. People like Jumi and Mitsuko are special. Hikaru, me and the rest of the family have varying ability. In our case, through our ancestor, in others the source is not always known. As for extracting or storing. That would be even rarer. A few might have such power. Many do not. The temple may have a few objects capable of it.” Did Shinigami have a desire for such, Umi would let her elaborate, if she did. For now, her hand continued to roam Shinigami’s body.

“Yeah, we can. Hard to guess how long those two will take. May not try to take too long, but we can spend the night here. Leave, maybe in the early morning, if it gets late enough.” As Mitsuko undressed, Jumi stepped over, picked up the apple, walked back to thee side of the table and examined it. Looking for any hint of strangeness, she could not imagine that girl gave them a gift to be nice. Would taking a bite out of it change them, mind, body, or soul? She was not going to take the chance of finding out. “Forbidden fruit. Not inclined to test it, even if this would probably be the safest place to do so.” Assuming it was a trap, between Shinigami, Umi and maybe Maxim himself, they could probably reverse whatever it might do. But it was still too risky to seriously tempt Jumi. She did not last this long by having that sort of recklessness. Her examination beyond looking was limited to feeling it it, poking it a little, giving it a quick smell. She was not as tired as Mitsuko, would sit there for at least a few minutes, before preparing for rest. It was the best place. Umi preferred to let Jumi and Mitsuko have some quiet to themselves. Ruling out the guest rooms, this was the only bed they were likely to use without risk of others walking around. She was as innocent as Nall about how this might go. She did not consider yet what she might have offered Shinigami. She watched Shinigami undress and lay down. It was a surprising sight, down below. She had heard of some demons and other non-humans having such anatomy, but it was her first time seeing it in person. “I am here to learn, how much I do not yet know. Shinigami spoke showing me her power, I am curious about that. I am also curious to learn how she differs from demons and humans. What it is to be Shinigami.” A study, biological and otherwise. But not a cold one. She did not wish to make Shinigami uncomfortable. “If there is something she wants to teach me, I will listen, or observe. I will try to learn on my own as well. Though is there anything I should be careful about?” She asked Shinigami, while kneeling at the side of her bed. Wanted to avoid offending her by touching something she should not, or anything she should not do or say. As she waited for the answer. She slid her hand down Shinigami’s arm. Starting small, indulging curiosity. Having never touched a humanoid form furred like this.

Jumi ultimately led Mitsuko back to the door, the gated complex. “Temple members sleep in he main building, but the guests rooms are a small side building out here, probably intended to give guests some quiet and privacy.” She led Mitsuko a short distance to a small building, with an unlocked door that she opened. A small hallway, with two doors, one on each side. “They try to avoid having many guests at a time though. It would probably just be one room. They just have two rooms in case there are men and women at the same time, who aren’t couples.” That was how it was explained to her, the first time she stayed. She opened one of the doors, let Mitsuko go in and close it behind her. It resembled the convention bedrooms in some ways, though there was a row of beds along the wall. Small ones meant more for one person, though two might be able to squeeze together. “They did consider the possibility of a full team of Magical Girls and/or Knights spending a night or two. Hence the number of beds.” There was not much else in the room, a small table with a few chairs, one large cabinet where clothes could be left. Jumi waited to see if Mitsuko laid down or sat in one of the chairs. Umi waited until it was just her, Shinigami and Nall. She nodded to Shinigami’s suggestion. It made sense that at least part of what they were going to do should have a bed. It made sense even without guessing the other reason. She saw no reason not to go to the most natural place. “I will lead you to my private room then. You may come too, Nall.” She stepped out of the altar room, closed and sealed it after the others left and led them through the halls, up several flights of stairs, to a portion of the temple guests were only allowed to enter with an escort. She led them down the halls, past a number of rooms. To another sealed door, which she placed her hand on to unlock. It was a small but comfortable room. Carpeted, a larger bed,. A chair, desk, cabinet, and a fairly stuffed bookshelf. She turned to Shinigami. “Get comfortable as you prefer.” She did not know if it would all be on the bed, but would let Shinigami prepare how she wished. She pulled out the chair, looked at Nall. “You can watch from here if you prefer, or another place. Anywhere but the bed should be fine.” Even without knowing what was coming, Umi guessed the bed was not a good place for Nall to watch from.

Jumi would decide whether to spell it out or not to Mitsuko, assuming she had not already guessed, after they reached the guest rooms. By themselves, or probably with Nall. Even if he had not figured out what Shinigami was planning, seemed more likely he would follow them than hang around Shinigami. Though he was not immediately following. Maybe he would watch the more innocent part and look for them when Shinigami got more playful? She nodded, let go and began leading Mitsuko down the halls. “I’ve stayed here occasionally from time to time. It is not exactly luxurious but it is comfortable enough. Not sure how long we will be waiting, but enough time to get some rest.” She would be surprised if they spent the night, though it was hard to guess how long the research portion of what the other two were up to would be. Or how long Shinigami would want to play with Umi afterwards. Especially if she guessed right about Umi being a maiden, and if she enjoyed it enough. Though there would be some time rest, either way. “I know where they are going, I will take you to them when we are done. It will probably a good time to you all to Jumi’s home, when we are done. Unless it is late enough you all want to spend the night.” Umi added, also unsure exactly how long this would take and whether or not it would be a good time to leave. Not knowing entirely how this would go, even the parts of it she expected, Umi was not sure if this was the best place to do it. She saw no harm doing it in the altar room, since the purpose was to learn about Shinigami and perhaps what they would be facing from the other woman. “Is this a good place to do it, or is there another place you think it would be easier?” If they just needed space this was a fairly good choice, safe from other temple members walking by and getting in the way or misundersranding. But if Shinigami preferred somewhere else, they could move.

“I will leave you to get to checking, then.” Hikaru said with a turn. To begin to try to look into it. The real problem would be if the woman did get pulled in the moment of death but had no connection to Magical Girls, or had fought by herself. The important thing though was he had a starting point. Something that would keep him busy for a while. If Jumi and Mitsuko split off on their own, at least he knew Jumi was familiar enough with the place to know where they could go to wait as Umi and Shinigami took care of what might be their last task here. Jumi held Mitsuko, trying to help her settle down a little, considering Shinigami’s offer. The other concern was whether Umi would like some privacy with what that was going to end with. She might not be as purity obsessed as other religions, but she was not a Magical Girl either, was not quite as casual about such things. For all she knew Shinigami might be her first time with anyone, she doubted Umi would feel any shame about that, but maybe she prefer it to be private? There was also the question of how Mitsuko felt, whether she realized where that was going or wanted to be around Shinigami. Perhaps it would be best to let her decide. “It might be interesting to watch, see what Umi learns. But the process might be more effective if it is just you two.” She gently rubbed Mitsuko’s back with the hand wrapped around her. “You wanna go along? If not I can show you the guests rooms. Help you get rest while those two work on that. The last chance for some rest before we leave the place.” She was partially trying to keep the surprise, not speak of the fun Shinigami wanted. Make it more special for Umi, even if it was not going to be the way the priestess expected it to happen.

Yeah, it was Dream’s turn to post between the three of us. Though someone else could stick a little in between, especially if it is interacting with the bartender.

Everyone upstairs is on pause until Gard is back. Characters downstairs should get going when Dreams is ready to post again, you could probably write something there though.

I’m at least willing to consider joining in, but again, have no experience with this sort of thing and not sure how easy it is to change that quickly. Will leave that up to you guys, who have a better idea.

I threw out a random idea that I thought would fit the story. Inspired from some fairly old games. Was not sure if anyone else would know it, but at least Warning did. She has been doing a good job explaining and considering adjustments that would be needed forthe setting.

I did let Gard know he has some stuff to read here when he is back. He did give a reply, and looks more like an October return now. After that I gave him a bit of a summary of what we had been talking about, not sure yet if he is familiar with the inspiration like me and Warning. For now we will see what happens with the downstairs trio, once they get going again and Emiko potentially getting introduced. Whether any of them go upstairs or not. @ChiyakoUp to you of course, if you want to wait for him or not. Depending on what you want to do, there is the possibility Ryoko could 'distract' Dalton, until he is back. Letting Evi get up to things. Or the three can stay as they are, if you would prefer to wait. I told Gard I would let him know what happens there.

Force of nature? Was he hands off, like most gods tended to be, mostly acting though agents like that woman? They would have to wait and see. But he did not consider Shinigami an enemy, and not a demon without more evidence. Though exactly what she was had only been partially clarified. They could only wait and find out, whether through research or later encounters. “I could reach out to other teams, see if anyone missing meets her description. But even if there is, it would probably be a while before they got an answer. “…Or if any fallen members meet her description.” It occurred to him, she might not even be ‘undead’ in the traditional sense, but if she was connected to ‘Death’ could they have met through her death or near death? Perhaps not, but it was worth looking in to. The others would probably leave before any confirmation, if that was the case. It would likely take days to successfully reach out to everyone. ”She doesn’t look like anyone I ever met, or heard of. Though with a whole world of teams to check, who knows? It might not be impossible.” Jumi added with a shrug, ignoring what she assumed was included in Shinigami’s offer to Umi, something she guessed the first time it was offered. She doubted Umi would be too bothered by that, the temple was big on marriage as the only way to join it, but as far as she could pick up, they were not as obsessed with purity as some religions. The only question was, would it just be the two of them? She did not mind either way, but seeing Mitsuko’s mood, she walked up, put a hand on her girlfriend’s shoulder, trying to reassure her. She would keep her company, if Shinigami and Umi had their privacy. Umi still did not guess what might come with it, but she thought the offer was good and should be followed up on. “Yes, I don’t know how much more help we can offer, beyond Hikaru looking into the woman’s possible origin. But that could be valuable to learn. I am curious to know more about you as well.” She knew much about demons and other monsters, but like Hikaru, believed Shinigami was something else. She had a curiosity to learn about this woman who drew Jumi and Mitsuko to her. “Would you like to do this somewhere more private, and alone, or with witnesses?” She asked it innocently, more to check Shinigami’s presences and comfort level, if she would find it easier with Mitsuko and/or Jumi.

Someday I should actually read some of my books, with the mind of maybe actually playing them. See if there is interest, after I finally get myself writing more frequently again. Though they are mostly older/based on specific licensed setting, and may be obscure, other than the first edition AD&D stuff. Or possibly getting pulled into something else, if it is easy to do without owning the material myself.

Yay, my idea got a lot of talk. Could be rather fun to see where that goes as we work out the details. One more piece that some characters may get involved with some may not. But yeah, like some of the stuff in the original idea of the club, before I took over, no one will be forced to do anything. Combination of probably trust, and needing the right hardware will help anyone who does not want to do anything with that piece of the setting. Exact details can be discussed by people involved. It is likely to a rather different experience for everyone character who dies do it. I haven’t played any of the games since they were new, but this aspect of that setting has stuck in my head, and this seemed as ideal a setting as any to consider including it.
