Your fine. If one of the characters gets hurt we can let you know to reply, but other then that you can just him following the group and you can post when you can.

I was thinking that the slug creature was a experiment made by the bio weapon scientist to act a one of the many traps he placed around his lab. It would capture people that didn’t belong to this world and hold them till the scientist collected them, to use for experiments.
-
Ryan was glad that Gogo was ok. He agreed that the slug creature didn’t seem to be the main threat here, in fact it seemed like it was more curious about them then threatening. He had a small rebreather in his belt that would give him a good amount of time, but he was afraid that if they tried to swim back up, the creature would pull them back or their would be something worse in the was water. The safest bet was to go through the tunnel that was behind the creature and see if it led out.But that means they had to find a way around the creature. He didn’t want to hurt or kill things if he didn’t want to, having seen two much of that in the War, hoping to find a way to get it to move.As he studied the creature from the dim light of the flare and Gogo’s slugs he noticed something odd. A small metal disc was implanted on its neck(your where it’s should have been). He pulled a small light from his pocket and shined it the creature, the disk had a set of symbols on it in a language that he didn’t know and seemed to be fused to the creatures skin. Whatever it was it wasn’t natural as if someone implanted it in the creature and as he looked closer at the tunnel behind the creature he realized that the tunnel was perfectly formed, made by a tool. Someone had put this creature down here on purpose and made a tunnel that it could reach it with. Ryan’s mind filled with questions, but he focused on this crew for now. He tapped a tiny metal disc that was implanted in the skin just in front of his ear. The disc was a communication device that his whole crew had for short range talking. “We are you ok down here.” He said, the three above the pool. “I want you to wait a safe distance form the pool and wait. We see a tunnel down here and we are going to see if it leads out.” —————— The creature suddenly looked up. It dove back into the water and swam too the surface. It spotted Zeeva from under the water, making loud noises at the shore. It shot out a tentacle and snagged the small female pulling her into the water. It swam back down to the cave and set the woman down next to the two other he had captured. He now just had to wait for his master to get here to collect the people that he had captured.

Sorry, I had something that came up, but I’m back now.

I’ll be replying to the post Planet 259 in around a hour.

Ryan held up his hand for the group to stop. They had reached the edge of the grid and had found nothing unusual yet, which wasn’t surprising since most creatures were probably scared be the BlackStar Landing. They had stopped next to a small pool that had strangely purple water. He wiped the sweat from his brow as he told everyone to take a break for a few minutes, then sat down himself on a fallen tree. It had been a cooler in the clearing by the BlackStar, but the jungle seemed to hold in the heat, making the air thick and muggy. He also guessed it was because is was getting ready to rain soon like Gogo said was having something to do with the heat. As he took a drink of water from his canteen that was strapped onto his belt he saw the water ripple of the pool beside them. It was very faint but something had moved under the water. He quickly stood and motioned for his crew to be alert, pointing at the water. “Gogo.” He said quietly, who was standing near him.”Something is moving.” As he finished talking a large creature slowly rose from the water, It’s eyes fixed on him and Gogo. It’s two slimy arms shot out and pulled the captain and the researcher under the water. Ryan had grabbed his gun as soon as he was pulled into the water, but the speed he was pulled deeper made it impossible aim it. He was could barely see the slug like creature swimming before them, it’s long body pumping itself through the water. He suddenly found himself and Gogo flung upward from water and onto a stone floor or what looked to be a under water cave. The creature loomed above them as it pulled itself from the water and moved closer. Ryan quickly fired the gun, but to his surprise the energy bolt dissolved on the creatures rubbery skin. But while it didn’t wound the creature, it seemed to feel pain for the shot, shrieking and backing away to the cave wall. As Ryan watched the creature he noticed in surprise that their was a opening in the wall behind the creature, looking like it lead somewhere. “You ok, Gogo?” He asked, glancing at her.

Unknown to the crew, something was watching them from high the treetops, it’s large eyes studying the group of people without blinking. The creature was not a native to this world or any other world for that matter. He was made in a facility by a Xiya Scientist, who made a living by creating monsters for people who wanted to have Bio weapons, and selling them. The creature now watching the crew had been his latest creation, a monster with complete control over his body, making it able to increase or decrease it’s muscle mass and size, plus it can also change it’s skin color and texture, letting it to be able to blend into any environment and take the form of most beings, making it the perfect stealth weapon. The experiment had escaped the day THEY got loose, and had been living in the jungle ever since. The creature, who the scientist had called Doppelgänger because of his ability to change form, had never seen beings like the crew before, his curiosity spiking. Despite being made to be a living weapon and his fierce looking form, he was actually a very gentle and curious creature. His skin blended him perfectly into the jungle background as he hopped silently from branch to branch deciding to just observe for now.

Ryan read through the short report that Gogo sent him of what data she had collected from inside the ship. He was happy to know that it seemed that this planet would be abundant in resources for earth to use. He sent the info to the rest of the crew and turned as Gogo came from the Aft bay geared up and holding what looked to be two Hunter Slimes in a jar. “Glad for you to join us Miss Gogo.” He said, before addressing his team for this mission. “Are job for this first mission on Planet N259 is to make sure that this is a good place to keep the BlackStar and to start to get a general idea for the resources and life forms that are on this planet.” He paused for a second, tapping his wrist to bring up a hologram of the BlackStar at the center of a giant three mile square.” We will start searching north part of the square first, moving all the way to the top of the grid before moving back down to the BlackStar, then we’ll move to the south part of the square and repeat. Report anything to the group that you see and find and don’t wander.” Ryan waited for his orders to sink in before he started towards the thick jungle that bordered the clearing the BlackStar was in. He motion motioned for his crew to follow, with Gogo right behind him incase they ran into a alien creature, Zeeva and Travis in the middle and Roc protecting the rear.
-
Ryan smiled at Zeeva’s excited greeting, but was always a bit worried about that energy to. He walked over to the young alien and kneeled down so he was eye level. “Trainee Zeeva.” He started. “I know you’ve been on several worlds with your parents but when we start to move please stay close to Roc and Travis. I know that you can take care of yourselves, but I don’t want anything to happen to my crew, so I just want to be safe rather then sorry, Okay?” He patted her head affectionately, the bubble helmet she wore feeling a strange, before standing up.

The other trainee of the BlackStar crew Zac steel walked into the rec room, his long, prehensile tail twitching in disappointment. He wasn’t going to be able to explore the new planet until the crew that was chosen for the first expedition got back from it. The captain said he would be able to go out on the second mission, after they had more of a idea what the world was like. He had been a bit upset when the other Trainee Zeeva had got to go, but he understood that while she was a trainee, she had explored several worlds with her parents before she was taken prisoner and had much more experience on different worlds compared to him, which was zero. But as much as he understood, he was still disappointed to be stuck on the BlackStar for now. He was a huge science fiction fan, reading and watching all the space exploration media he could find and had been so excited to see a new world for the first time and get to discover new things before anyone else. The young hybrid sighed and walked to the Rec Room wall, deciding to get some training in. He pressed a button on the wall and a display of Training weapons, from a variety of guns to knifes, appeared from their hidden compartments in the wall. The guns shots blanks that would only hurt the HardLight projections of the Rec Room and it was the same with the knifes, their fake holographic blades only doing damage to the the HardLight projections. He hefted a smaller one handed energy gun, The same style as the Captain used as his main weapon and pressed some buttons on the virtual control screen to start a training program. The whole room went dark and a sudden transformed into a scene of a wrecked city on earth. The virtual reality of the room was amazing, as Scums, the aliens that had invaded earth and what his father had been started to appear for inside buildings and running down the streets. This was a favorite virtual training program for people on earth, but it still felt weird to Zac, shooting people that looked like his dad. But he just focused on it as being training and started to fire. The practice gun behaved like a real one, as he shot one after another, having become a pretty good shot.

Ryan nodded as the medic that would be joining them showed up. He felt a bit more relaxed now, knowing that if something happened to them, Baker would do his best to save him.“Thank you for joining us, Baker.” He said smile. “Hope your ready to start this adventure.” The Captain glanced back ship, wondering where the Researcher was at. He Knew that Gogo worked at her own pace, but they needed her to start.
-
Thank you for adding your character, she is interesting and I’m sure she will fit in. I you want her to be doing something in the BlackStar while the team is doing the expedition on the new planet you can, to show off your personality a bit. Maybe she can start in the training room of the ship and be meeting with my trainee character for fighting practice but that is just a thought.

I started a post on the post Planet N259 that is a continuation from the break room. You guys can join me at any time with the characters that are going to explore the planet.

Ryan stood just outside the ship’s Aft Bay doors, taking in the beautiful view of this new world. It was quite hot, not unbearably so, but he did feel it through his clothes and under his armor plates that protected heart, arms and legs. He took in a deep breath, loving the clean smell of this world compared to the war torn earth. He was itching to move and explore, his parents both having been adventurous and had passed that onto him, but he help himself in check as he waited for his crew. It was pretty silent around the ship, which was not surprising since the landing of a giant ship was enough to scare anything, but he did hear hoots and howls in the far distance, which worried him some. He turned as Roc walked down the giant ramp from the Aft bay. The young alien nodded and saluted, before moving to stand nearby, his eyes watchful. Ryan was glad to have him here as he was a strong person to have protecting his crew.
-
Ryan turned to the Trainee, his lopsided smile back. “You well need to carry a firearm for protection, just in cause, but hopefully Roc or I can handle any trouble.” He said.” But we are hoping that this will be a peaceful mission.” He looked around to see if anyone else had a question, but the crew seemed to be good, so Ryan continued. “Alright gather what you need and meet me outside the Aft Bay doors.”
-
Ryan nodded as the two people entered the room. The medical officer that was joining them had already been briefed and was preparing the supplies they needed and would meet them outside. Ryan moved to the head of the table and pressed a finger on the smooth surface. A 3D image appeared in the air above it, showing planet N259. “Welcome everyone.” He started, his voice commanding attention.”This is a Image of the first planet we have discovered that was safe to land on since leaving the BlackDawn.” He pressed on the hologram of N259 and a list of info appeared on a floating screen beside it. “The planet is earth like in temperature and atmosphere, but is covered with dense jungles one most of the surface.” He continued. “Scans as we landed indicated several heat signatures of unknown life forms as they fled from the landing BlackStar, so be extremely careful as it seems that this world could hold many different creatures, so please stay close together.” “Are first mission is to do a sweep of the area near the Ship, to make sure it is safe to stay in this area.” He said. “Report any discoveries to Gogo that might be important for research and if you spot anything that could be dangerous, let me or Roc know immediately, now any questions before we set out?”
-
I have a question. How do you mention someone in a post? Like instead of quoting someone’s post you can put their name it and it will give you a notice that someone mentioned you in a post.

Roc entered the room right after Jaina in his normal human form. His slightly enhanced senses, the were much stronger in his beast form, picked up the scents of all that were going on this first mission were already in the room except for the medical officer before he even entered the room. His red eyes took in the room, nodding to his crew members and saluted his Captain, before taking a seat. He wasn’t much of a talker, but he wasn’t being rude, it was just the way he was. He smiled slightly at Zeeva, happy to see her. He was most attached to the little alien as she had been a prisoner like him.

Busterbugs replied to Busterbugs's topic in The BlackStar Voyage's Crew Members and other Characters
Security Officer Normal Form- Beast Form- Name-Roc Age-20 Sex-Male Sexuality-Straight Skill(Any talents that they have)-A combat master and since he was a Warion, he had the power to shift from his normal human form to a much larger, stronger but slightly slower Beast form. Bio(A bit of backstory on them)-Roc was captured by the aliens that invaded earth and forced to be a soldier for them. He was rescued by the humans, saving him from a life of misery. He is very loyal to his crew and especially the physically weaker ones, as his species, while powerful, is naturally caring and protective. -
Ryan let out a almost silent sigh as the researcher that would be joining them today walked into the room. Noriko Gogo was a member of their crew that he had been a bit wary of accepting on his crew, as her reputation of a questionable lifestyle was well know. But she was a excellent person in the study of alien life forms and had a almost unnatural way of controlling and studying ET’s, especially wild and animalistic ones and thus was a good addition to the crew, despite some of her stranger habits. The captain smiled, choosing to ignore the have hearted salute. “Good morning, Miss GoGo.” He said, his voice calm despite his slight irritation. “Glad that you can join and I look forward to working with you.” The Captain was aware of the looks that the Gogo was giving him and while he did find her very allure he hid it well.
-
Ryan chucked at the young woman energy. She was a hard worker and very eager to please and the Captain had grown fond of her. “You can relax for now, Trainee.” He said.” We just have to wait for the rest of the crew to get here to discuss the plan.” The man leaned back against the wall, his eyes watching the door, his ears listening for any sound. The medical and security should be here soon, along with the other trainee and their researcher.
-
Yeah. I wanted the ship to be about to handle trouble they ran into and to have plenty of room, but still be small enough to be run by a smaller crew.
-
It’s a fairly large ship, probably about half the size of the Enterprise, which was 980 feet long. So about 500 feet long.
-
As for the crew members need in the meeting room for the expedition, I was thinking the Captain, the two trainees, a medical officer, a researcher, and a security officer. Does that sound good?
-
I think it’s a good idea to introduce most of are characters in the meeting room. And the characters that won’t be going on the first expedition, like the pilots, second in command, the engineers and one of the researchers and medical officers, if they are your characters you can introduce them in their rooms, working in part of the ship or they can stop by the meeting room just to watch.
