Dozle The Crusader

The Azure Region is a snow covered winterland, as dangerous as it is beautiful. This is the thread for characters that are on the road, following (or not) the routes. While not manitory, we would welcome you putting an indication as to where your character is, such as something like "Location: Route One" at the beginning of your characters post.

Tungrad is a small village close to the central mountain range, and connects routes two and seventeen together. They have their own Pokémon Centre, Pokémart and other shops. It is quite large for a village, bordering on the size of a town due to its well travelled routes.

Zlascow is one of the smallest villages on the map, surrounded by a beautiful pine forest. It is the place that Professor Ironwood calls home when he is not travelling. It tends to be the starting point of most young trainers. Due to its small size, it does not have a Pokémon centre but whenever the professor is in town, he is happy to heal any sick or injured Pokémon.

Sarosta is one of the more favourite stopping point for people and trainers alike due to their relaxing hot springs that cater to both humans, and Pokémon. The scenes that can be seen from the hot springs are enough to take ones breath away. Due to the amount of traffic the village gets, they have their own Pokémon centre and a Pokémart.

Nepskau is a small fishing village just off of route eighteen. They have access to a small lake that is fed from mountain springs, leaving the lake so clear that one can see deep into it and watch the swimming Poémon. This village doesn't have a Pokémon centre, but it does have a Pokémon Doctor who is always willing to take care of your sick and injured Pokémon.

Lykin is in the central region of the map, on the edge of the snowy woods and the hilly expanse of the centre connecting routes four, seven and thirteen. They have a reasonable collection of shops that sell a range of items as well as their own Pokémon Centre and Pokémart. They are home of the Rock Gym under the gym leader of Vadik Mikhailov.

Shukala is towards the northern side of the island, close to the Capital, Naksin. It connects routes twelve, thirteen and fourteen together. They are close to the nearby river, and are known for their amazing river fish food. Shukala is home of the Fighting gym, one of the toughest gyms in the region. Pavel Orlov is known as a ruthless fighter who is happy to test the teams of trainers that pass by. Like any town, they have their own Pokémon Centre and Pokémart.

Kydar is on the South-eastern coast of the region. It connects routes three, four and sixteen. It sits close to the coast, among the icy tundra. As they see a lot of traffic, there is a fair number of shops as well as their own Pokémon Centre and Pokémart. Kydar is home to the Dark gym, one of the earlier challangable gyms under the leadership of Anastasia Petrova.

Loysk is one of the smaller towns, close to the central mountain range. Despite its small size, it has its own Pokémon Centre and Pokémart. From the town it is possible to see the mountains and the wide expanse of snowy forests close by. It connects routes two and three together, and is one of the routes out of the more temperate southern climates and into the chiller north. Loysk is home to the easiest gym, the water gym under the leadership of Diana Smirnova.

Valka is set in the very centre of the region. It has no gym, and it's Pokémon centre is sizable. However what it is best known for, is its shopping district. It is large, with a massive shopping centre sitting in the middle of it. People come from all over to shop here, and it is the only place to get a few, very rare items. It connects route six and seventeen together and is one of the easiest to move from east to the west.

Vyalensk is the only city that lacks a gym. It sits on the secondary island of the region, nestled in amongst the forest. It is the place best known for its grass and bug type pokémon. The city is quite large and is one of the greener cities in that it has a lot of trees and green areas for people to enjoy. It has a large shopping district, as well as a Pokémon Centre and a Pokémart. The only way to get there is through Lyvets Port and along route ten.

Lypa sits along the eastern coast, the buildings sprawling next to the coastline. The beach is pebbled, and usually covered in ice. During the winter, when the sea becomes solid, they often host races on the ice where people come from all over the region to participate in. They have a well sized shopping district, with its own Pokémon Centre and Pokémart. It is home to the Fire gym, under the leadership of the very fiery and hot-headed gym leader Egor Novikov.

Kirizov is located on the western side of the central mountain range. It sits among the pine forest that stretches from the north, to the south of the island. Thus it is a little warmer than some of the other cities, and they are well known for their bubbly pies, which are made from a berry that grows wild in the forest. They have a large shopping district along with a Pokémon Centre and Pokémart. They host a grass gym there, under the leadership of Tatiana Volkova.

Zlartau is close to the central mountain range, off of route four. It sits on a snowy plain, by the forest. One thing that Zlartau is well known for is their sled racing, where people are able to use their pokémon to compete in a sled race from the city, to the mountains and back. Such a race can take days to complete but there are often sizable prizes. Their shopping district is quite large, with a Pokémon Centre and Pokémart. The gym leader for Zlartau is one of the strongest, the fairy type leader Gala Kuzmina, as beautiful as she is deadly.

Naksin is the Capital City of the entire region and is the only way to access route nineteen which is Victory road. The City is very large, sitting wedged against the northern mountain range and between two forests. It is home to the Kristov Palace, a large sprawling palace built by some of the original founders of the region. Nowadays, it is more of a tourist attraction allowing people to see the ancient building. Naksin is also home to the Crusader Tower which was built not long after the Palace. Trainers often go there, to seek luck before continuing on to the league. It is said that the spirit of the ancient pokémon resides within the tower, and warriors who seek to get the blessing of the Motherland must request it of them. They have the second largest shopping distrcit, second only to Valka. They have several Pokémon centres and Pokémarts. Naksin is also home of the toughest gym leader, an old veteren of the Pokémon War, General Nikolai Morozov. His team is extremely tough, and only a very few are able to beat him to continue on to the league.

Name: Vlad Molotov Sex: Male Age: 28 Profession: Elite Four Personality: He is a very calculative man and is very good with his poison Pokémon. Pokémon: Drapion, Toxicroak, Salazzle, Nidoking, Toxapex, Alolan Muk. Species: Toxicroak Type: Poison/Fighting Sex: Female Ability: Dry Skin Personality: There is not much that she does except lazying around. She is always laying on Muk like a bed. Moveset: Belch, Sludge Bomb, Sucker Punch, Poison Jab Species: Salazzle Type: Poison/Fire Sex: Female Ability: Corrosion Personality: She is a real tease in a battle and will always draw someone into a fight. Moveset: Flamethrower, Venom Drench, Dragon Pulse, Venoshock. Species: Nidoking Type: Poison/Ground Sex: Male Ability: Poison Point Personality: A very bold Pokémon and will always look for the next fight. Moveset: Megahorn, Earth Power, Poison Jab, Focus Blast Species: Toxapex Type: Poison/Water Sex: Male Ability: Merciless Personality: He always looks for his next quick fight and is the more toxic one of the team. Name: Ivan Antonov Sex: Male Age: 56 Profession: Elite Four Personality: He is a old war vet but he is more bold and will always welcome a new challenger but if you don't have a fire in you for battle he will tell you to go find it before you battle him once. Pokémon: Duraludon, Kommo-o, Dragapult, Garchomp, Salamence, Haxorus. Species: Kommo-o Type: Dragon/Fighting Sex: Male Ability: Soundproof Personality: He is always the first to walk into a room and get a random hug from the fighting dragon. Species: Dragapult Type: Ghost/Dragon Sex: Female Ability: Clear Body Personality: She is a bit of a loner of the group. Its because she is always a shy one who was never good at makeing new friends. Species: Salamence Type: Dragon/Flying Sex: Male Ability: Intimidate Personality: He is always in a bad mood and never up for anything but a fight. He is the fire of the team and always clashes with Haxorus on their team. He never gets along with the poison Elites Drapion. Moveset: Flamethrower, Dragon Claw, Zen Headbutt, Crunch. Species: Haxorus Type: Dragon Sex: Female Ability: Rivalry Personality: She is the fighter out of her group and is always bold. She takes on every one and is never afraid of anyone and butts heads with Salamence. She is always more of a level head out of the two. Moveset: Giga Impact, Outrage, Dragon Pulse, Swords Dance.

Name: Alena Volkova Sex: Female Age: 22 Profession: Elite Four Personality: Alena is quite excitable, and us usually quite energetic. She is very passionate about her Pokémon, and will eagerly talk about them with anyone willing to listen. She knows how to take care of them, and does everything in her power to make sure that they're fit and healthy. She doesn't approve of anyone that has a frivilous attitude towards Pokémon. She gets really excited when she gets a challenger and the harder the battle is, the more excited she gets. Pokémon: Magnezone, Toxtricity, Raichu, Morpeko, Rotom, Zebstrika. Signature Pokémon Species: Magnezone Type: Electric/Steel Sex: Genderless Ability: Sturdy Personality: Magnezone is quite a friendly Pokémon that likes to help when they can. He is a nightmare on the battlefield, as he likes a challenge as much as his trainer and will give tough opponants the best he has. Moveset: Zap Cannon, Flash Cannon, Light Screen, Electro Ball Species: Toxtricity (Amped) Type: Electric/Poison Sex: Female Ability: Punk Rock Personality: Toxtricity is quite a hasty Pokémon, loving to rush into things and hit her opponants hard. She has a bit of a temper and if someone pisses her off, she will challenge them to a fight. Her hard hitting nature makes for a formidable opponant. Moveset: Boomburst, Overdrive, Poison Jab, Discharge. Species: Raichu Type: Electric Sex: Female Ability: Static Personality: Raichu is a rather relaxed and friendly Pokémon, and while she isn't Alena's signature Pokémon, she is the one that has been with her the longest as she was hatched from an egg from her fathers own Raichu. She is an experienced fighter, and will always give it all that she has. Moveset: Thunder Punch, Thunderbolt, Light Screen, Slam. Species: Morpeko Type: Electric/Dark Sex: Female Ability: Hunger Switch Personality: When not in her Hangry Mode, Morpeko is a rather sweet Pokémon who loves a good cuddle and being close with her trainer and other party members. When in her Hangry Mode, she can be tempormental and hard to handle and tends to rush headlong into a fight. Moveset: Aura Wheel, Crunch, Bullet Seed, Agility. Species: Rotom Type: Electric/Ghost Sex: Genderless Ability: Levitate Personality: Rotom, like most Rotom's, is rather mischievious and loves possessing various objects to mess with his trainer and anyone else that leaves them open to their pranks. In particular, it loves using its Uproar move to startle people. Moveset: Uproar, Discharge, Substitute, Hex Species: Zebstrika Type: Electric Sex: Male Ability: Lightning Rod Personality: Zebstrika is a rather serious and hardy Pokémon. Name: Katiya Kozlova Sex: Female Age: 29 Profession: Elite Four Trainer Personality: Katiya is a rather serious woman, who takes the challenge of the young up and coming champions very seriously. She does not mock, or tease, treating every challenger with respect. For those that win against her, she will be complimentary and, if they still have other Elites to fight, encouraging. If someone loses against her, she will often express her regret and wish them well in the future. Pokémon: Galarian Rapidash, Alakazam, Sigilyph, Espeon, Jynx, Claydol. Played by: @Neptune Pokémon When first challenging Katiya, you will face her signature Pokémon plus four randomly selected from her party. On a rechallenge, you will face all six of her party. Signature Pokémon Species: Rapidash (Galarian) Type: Psychic/Fairy Sex: Male Ability: Pastel Veil Personality: Rapidash is similar in temperament to his trainer. He is quite serious, yet he likes a challenge. Moveset: Psychic, Dazzling Gleam, Heal Pulse, Take Down. Species: Alakazam Type: Psychic Sex: Female Ability: Synchronise Personality: Alakazam is a very calm Pokémon that not allow much to upset or irritate her. He is friendly, though, and doesn't mind meeting new people and making new friends. Moveset: Future Sight, Calm Mind, Psycho Cut, Drain Punch. Species: Sigilyph Type: Psychic/Flying Sex: Male Ability: Magic Guard Personality: Sigilyph seems rather lazy, preferring to spend their free time hanging around. Species: Espeon Type: Psychic Sex: Male Ability: Syncronise Personality: Espeon adores his trainer, and loves to spend his free time with her. Due to his close relationship with his trainer, he will always do his best in battles to impress her. Like his trainer though, he takes a loss well. Moveset: Future Sight, Psychic, Last Resort, Dig. Species: Jynx Type: Ice/Psychic Sex: Female Ability: Forewarn Personality: Jynx is very friendly, and loves doing things for others such as making ice based treats. She also loves helping Katiya with chores around her home such as sweeping the drive way. She is very generous such as if she has an ice treat and she sees another without, then she will share it without asking or expecting anything in return. Species: Claydol Type: Ground/Psychic Sex: Genderless Ability: Levitate Personality: Claydol doesn't seem to do much of anything when not battling or training. He seems to do nothing but watch over Katiya's house, thus when someone heads there without her being there, Claydol is the one that they will meet. Name: General Nikolai Morozov Sex: Male Age: 52 Profession: Ice Gym Leader Personality: He is cold and is as strong as ice. Very few has melted through him, even through out the war he was cold and if you beat him then he might warm up to you as at that point you have earnt his respect. Name: Gala Kuzimina Sex: Female Age: 26 Profession: Fairy Gym Leader Personality: Gala is a calculating young woman that is rather calm and unruffled by much. She treats everyone with a base level of respect and politeness. Those that have defeated her in battle earn her respect and she will treat them with a greater degree of friendliness. Those wishing the fight her should be prepared, as she will only accept a challenge once. If they lose against her, don't expect a second battle unless you give her a good enough reason for one. Pokémon: Mawile, Mr. Mime, Florges, Togekiss, Mimikyu, Wigglytuff. Played by: @Neptune Pokémon When fighting Gala, you will battle against her signature Pokémon, plus three randomly selected from her party. This is a four on four battle. Signature Pokémon Species: Mawile Type: Steel/Fairy Sex: Male Ability: Intimidate Personality: Mawile is as calm and as calculating as her trainer, liking to watch his opponant for any sign of weakness that he can exploit them. Type: Psychic/Fairy Sex: Male Ability: Filter Personality: Mr. Mime is a rather excitable Pokémon, always loving to show off his moves, no matter who the audience is. Species: Florges (White) Type: Fairy Sex: Female Ability: Flower Veil Personality: Florges is rather vain, and likes to keep her flower in perfect condition. She grows angry when someone gets her dirty, stopping at nothing to get her revenge on her which can be a nightnare for those battling her. Moveset: Misty Terrain, Moonblast, Petal Blizzard, Wish. Species: Togekiss. Type: Fairy/Flying Sex: Male Ability: Serene Grace Personality: Togekiss is a very friendly and compassionate Pokémon. If he sees someone in need, he will stop at nothing to help them. Moveset: Air Slash, Fairy Wind, Aura Sphere, Charm. Species: Mimikyu. Type: Ghost/Fairy Sex: Female Ability: Disguise Personality: Mimikyu is quite friendly, and loves getting attention from her trainer. He is very protective of his trainer and doesn't like anyone even badmouthing her. Moveset: Charm, Shadow Claw, Mimic, Wood Hammer. Species: Wigglytuff. Type: Normal/Fairy Sex: Male Ability: Cute Charm Personality: Wigglytuff is friendly, to a point. While friendly, he is distrusting of strangers unless they show friendliness to his trainer. He is quite competitive, and likes to battle others to prove his own power. Moveset: Play Rough, Hyper Voice, Sing, Gyro Ball.

Name: Tatiana Volkova Sex: Female Age: 38 Profession: Grass Gym Leader Personality: Tatiana is a rather friendly woman of middle age. She usually speaks in a soft tone, and doesn't tend to rise to any kind of torment. She loves to spend time in her garden, which is where she is usually found. She loves all of her Pokémon deeply. Pokémon: Gogoat, Abomasnow, Whimsicott, Alolan Exeggutor, Roselia, Tropius. Played by: @Neptune Pokémon When fighting Tatiana, you will battle against her signature Pokémon, plus three randomly selected from her party. This is a four on four battle. Signature Pokémon Species: Gogoat Type: Grass Sex: Male Ability: Sap Sipper Personality: Gogoat is a strong and hardy Pokémon who is not afraid to do hard work. Due to his resiliance, he is quite a tank and thus can be a tough opponant for challengers. Moveset: Bulldoze, Synthesis, Seed Bomb, Take Down. Species: Abomasnow Type: Grass/Ice Sex: Male Ability: Snow Warning Personality: Abomasnow is quite headstrong, and loves a good challenge. To his friends, he kind and caring and treats them with respect. He is also very protective of them. Moveset: Wood Hammer, Icy Wind, Mist, Ice Shard. Species: Whimsicott Type: Grass/Fairy Sex: Female Ability: Infiltrator Personality: Whimsicott is a friendly Pokémon who loves to hang around in Tatiana's gardens. She is very sweet and loves to make new friends. She is also quite kind and caring towards others. Moveset: Sunny Day, Giga Drain, Energy Ball, Leech Seed Species: Alolan Exeggutor Type: Grass/Dragon Sex: Male Ability: Frisk Personality: Exeggutor likes to lazily lounge around in Tatiana's guarden. However when it comes to battle, he is more than capable of putting aside his laziness to create a hard hitting opponant. Moveset: Extrasensory, Giga Drain, Synthesis, Dragon Hammer. Species: Roselia Type: Grass/Poison Sex: Male Ability: Poison Point Personality: Roselia is a rather vain Pokémon, often fussing in regards to his appearance. He loves to ensure that his roses are absolutely perfect with no blemishes. Moveset: Toxic, Giga Drain, Magical Leaf, Poison Sting. Species: Tropius Type: Grass/Flying Sex: Female Ability: Chlorophyll Personality: Tropius seems rather goofy at times, always liking to have a laugh and a joke. He has very solid morals and very straight foward and to the point. Pokémon: Lycanroc, Pupitar, Lunatone, Carkol, Omanyte, Probopass. A bit of a rock to be around but can be moody when in battle at times.
