On one hand, I appreciate the resistance to classes but in most PbtA games, everyone has access to the same moves but different stat lines, which pushes it towards class-free. While each playbook has a signature move, they're really more like picking a starting package of perks, especially since so often it's possible to pick moves from other playbooks when you get experience. It is definitely not the be-all-and-end-all system that it's often hyped as. It does some things exceedingly well, others it is dog shit at. If tactical combat is your thing, there might not be a worse tool.

One of the nice things about using an open source system, like PbtA, is that if your players have played any other PbtA game they'll understand about 90% of the rules as soon as you hand them a playbook. The 6 or less, 7-9, 10+ resolution system is easy to understand and their moves are right there.

PbtA games I'm prepared to run: Apocalypse World, probably 2nd Edition. I could be convinced to do first as I'm not a huge fan of the 8 million moves in 2e. Neon City Blues. Technically Carved From Brindlewood, but Brindlewood is descended from AW. Cyberpunk mystery. Girl Frame. Lesbian Mech pilots. Not far removed from Night Witches. Also works a lot like Monsterhearts as Tags are crucial. Does not use Strings though. Also has a hierarchy that impacts game play. May be too similar to Liberation Union. Bluebeard's Bride. Players are all aspects of a young bride from a very poor family who has just married an extremely wealthy older man who has been married before. The past brides are gone. Explore the palace and decide if you think he killed his other brides and chose to be obedient or not. Body horror and sexual themes run through it. Things i'd rather avoid: Masks, Monsterhearts and Monster of the Week. I'm willing to talk about Night Witches, The Watch, Urban Shadows, Scum and Villainy and The Sprawl. Court of Blades is a possibility too, but that's Forged in the Dark rather than PbtA.

I think everyone involved agrees that the sex mechs have reached the end of their road, so I have time, but everything I pitch goes over like the proverbial turd in a punch bowl. Rather than offer up another turd, what's everyone interested in?

There's no fault. Things age, the interesting bits happen, or don't appear to be coming, and the story that did work doesn't anymore. "Birth, school, work, death" it's the way of things.

It did, and I'm sad about it. Same over in the Fare game...

Guilty-ish. The parties, peppermint fucking everything, expectations and demands to celebrate are all welcome to end soon. But having all the children home, warm treats and drinks rich with cinnamon, cream and cloves are welcome to stay indefinitely. Next poster thinks driving in snow is fun. Molasses cookies are ginger, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg and molasses drop cookies that you roll in white sugar before you bake.

As Scylla's synaptic tendril brushed along the exposed flesh of Magda's nerve-dense cuntlip, the input from the BioFrame became stronger, clearer and the captain could feel feel the kaiju's eagerness, She could feel it feeding into Kehrer too, and through the Frame could feel the younger pilot getting excited by the idea of engaging. Patune was the same way, but he was built for a stand-up fight and was about as subtle as a thermonuclear detonation. There was a reason Captain Payarkoon had chosen to ride bitch in a single seat frame, pressed tightly against a very pretty pilot - and it wasn't to rub Emily's ass. Scylla could get them into the outpost without getting noticed, but only if she stayed on task. The pair were feeding back into each other and getting themselves frothed up for an unnecessary fight. Magda knew she needed a deeper connection and shifted her hips to the side to press her clit into the neurofluid of Scylla's nerve bundle. The slick pressure was delicious. Contact like this with Patune was insistent, feral, demanding, but Scylla was more like Emily - demanding, but patient. She could feel the pair more clearly and a strange ménage à trois began to form through the neural link. "Ladies!" the order was a simultaneous thought and barked command that seemed loud in the confined space. Softer, gentler, her face rubbing against Kehrer's back and gently thrusting her sex against Scylla's tendril, she added, "Sneak around, if we liberate the pilot you'll get the frame without hurting it." She flooded the connection with her genuine affection for the pair, the Union and the Strike Team, "And without risking anything."

Guilty - but it's not really "holiday" food so much as I only ever make molasses cookies around the holidays. Buying gifts causes the next poster stress (I made an ex-wife cry - no, not in a good way either - with a gift, is why I ask).

Not guilty. I am a devout atheist and have no more use for Christian mythology than I do Norse or Roman mythology. My family loves the pageantry, decorations and festivities, and I often get caught up in their happiness, but I have mo interest in any of it. Some of my older kids want to move away from Christmas and toward Solstice - which I'm only slightly less unenthusiastic about. I don't need some external reason to enjoy them. Going to the farmers' market is reason enough to buy them a gelato - I don't need an Egyptian immigrant's birthday or the days starting to get longer. It's fucking dumb, but the family loves it. They love Spongebob too and I put up with it... Next poster has a favorite Christmas movie

Will they film?
-
Will it be warmer and wetter if someone watches?
-
Say what, now?
-
What would you like it to be?
-
Isn't there something else you want to slip into something wet and juicy?

Okay gang, who's got the futa media stash? Is there a source of futa animation anything like the quality of Agent Red Girl?

Before I reply, I want to make sure we agree on how the Liberation Union's sexual synching works. It seems the more nerves that are in contact with the Frame's neurotendrils, the more powerful the connection. With Scylla rubbing against Magda's bare labia, she's getting more information from Scylla. Magda is born to this so I think, if the greater the nerves in contact (which would explain why sex makes the LU links so deep and responsive) increases throughput, Magda would know how to maximize the connection. In this case, by moving so her clitoris was in contact with Scylla's tendril. Is my logic solid?
-
Magda felt Scylla interpose extra tendrils between her and Emily. It was the kind of possessive behavior Patune might engage in too. She smiled softly into Emily's back as neuro fluid sickened her skin. The connections weren't ideally located, but the greater contact increased the throughput between Magda and Scylla, and through the BioFrame, Emily. Magda leaned into her genuine care and concern for the pilots and Frames of Strike Team Delta Foxtrot. It was impossible to lie to the interface, so Magda made no effort. She let Scylla see, let the faint, distant information that flowed along the nerves of her extremities and torso trickle into her brain. The tactile input was stronger, the nerves in contact with Scylla 's nerve bundles were meant to carry that data, but flashes of the visual input got through. It was disconcerting, like looking through fog with eyes you couldn't control. The images shifted and swirled, bandwidths and hues Magda didn't know. She was smart enough not to fight. She let the stream wash through her, grounding herself in the cold air on Scylla's skin and armor and the warm press of the pilot and Scylla 's tendrils. That dicotomy Magda knew. The captain wasn't sure she hear Kehrer's question or felt it through Scylla, but answered as much as felt her reply. "Go carefully - it might be a trap." ★★★ Cassandra caught the occasional glimpse of what appeared to be movement, but it slipped in and out of visuals, but almost nothing registered on other sensors. Whatever it was didn't appear to move like a Frame, or at least not one the Major had ever seen, nor did appear to have the mass or linear, intent of a kaiju. It moved with a fluid grace that slipped in and out of sight, appearing for an instant, the disappearing only to reappear somewhere else.

@Icarian Dreams, to you. All Magda is going to do is say, "Yes" to Emily's request to check you out.

A longtime private roleplay partner had a bad bout of writer's block and I suggested maybe try to write a haiku as a way to work through it. It's a constrained art form with clear, easy rules, which kind of sketches in a framework on the blank page. Sometimes that kind of new way to look at a problem (thank you, Brian Eno and your Oblique Strategies) can help a creative stall. What emerged has been actually a really fun, occasionally very sexy, series of haiku. I thought it might be fun to open the game to everyone. Only rule is, 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables and follow on in some way from the previous post ★★★ Touch of a soft breath Goosebumps raise on bare skin Arousal begins

We'll see how @WickedCadrach feels tomorrow, but if she's still feeling poorly, go ahead and post if you'd like.

Normally I don't much care about who posts when but in this case what Scylla and Emily do will impact what the situation for you is. Unless I say something specific assume that you're free to post. And I did boost your stars.
