Suggestion: Monsters are rare, but are known to live among humans. Sadly, they are on the lower end of the social classes and most often are involved in crimes and such. She could be one of the few who broke free of that, but as a result has more knowledge about the seedy underworld?

I was considering playing a goblin xD If that doesn't sound too weird?

Regarding races - should monsters not exist, exist along humans or be very rare or try to stay hidden?

I am more than happy to do a normal "modern day with supernatural stuff" if you prefer to stay largely generic.

It was merely a side note as I literally pointed out more in terms of "if you like that sort of thing, you may also like/want this...". I think the budding days of the information super highway could be very interesting. Are you familiar with the "World of Darkness" setting? I do like such concepts, but if it might turn too complex, can we abandon whatever might not work as well? Any time period you would prefer?

Jessica is out and about as well, mostly out to cause mischief and fear, not particularly for monetary gain. In fact, the concept of money does not even interest her very much and only uses as much as absolutely necessary for herself. It is more fun and thrilling to see what sort of chaos derives when various humans loses their cash and other valuable assets. That is what led her to begin to think about what sort of misdeeds it might cause to target something bigger, such as a store. So one of the many streets with stores and businesses going along it, she wanders slowly with her eyes hovering out various potential targets. Something then catches her eyes as she sees someone who most may say acts suspiciously, which catches her curiousity. Whilst in human form, he is definitely a monster like herself. Of course, she wants to investigate further, but stealthily for now. So she melts into the shadows that are cast nearby, wanting to follow.
