Hiro nodded at her remark. "Yeah, and if you feel unsafe, or you have any questions or concerns, you can always talk to a teacher or your friends. I'm certain you will meet the teachers on Monday, which is when classes start, in the morning. You will have to wake up early, but you have an alarm clock or your cell phone, and- Speaking of, do you have a cell phone? Every non-human was given one in this academy. Humans and monsters use cell phones to contact one another from far locations. If, for example, you feel like you cannot wake up at the right time for classes, I could call you and the sound will wake you up... hopefully." He explained so, chuckling lightly, hoping the big words that he was using wasn't too much of a hassle for her. She seemed to be a fluent speaker, despite not knowing much about her surroundings and humans, so that should be good, right? "I usually go with a friend of mine, but I'm positive she wouldn't mind you coming along as well." He smiles again as he mentioned that last part, as they got closer and closer to the large doors of the dining hall, but still having just a few more steps to go through. At least it was already visible in the distance.

As Hiro was laying on the bed, he cuffed his hands together at his stomach, completely hearing out what she has to say, processing it in his mind as she finished with her first monologue about reading. He is certainly glad to know that he doesn't have to go through too much to help her with something. Obviously, he was the one that wanted this in the first place, so he's not going to complain about that. It's just less trouble, knowing that she can read using her hands. Whatever that means, anyway. He has already made a few plans in his mind, but he is going to do them later. "I understand..." He murmurs out at the end there, so that she knows that he understood and heard what she said. Next up, after Penelope finished her second and third monologues. He smiles to himself after hearing her talk about herself like that, and about how humans should be doing something better with their lives. Hiro sat up on the side of the bed and looked at the nurse, despite unknowing whether she's looking back or not. He's still a little bit confused about that part, but it's not like it'll do him any harm. "That is... correct, but I have already done my exercising and studying for today. I do it every single day right after classes, so that I have some free time left for the rest of the day. Everyone that is nice to me, I feel like I need to repay them somehow. You included, for helping me by simply doing your job and of course, being a nice and... caring person." He'd blush a little bit at his own words, but it's true. She did help him as his head starts to feel much more better, and she seems like a very nice mummy. What he's about to say next, he certainly hopes that he won't scare her off or something like that. "I'd prefer to keep everyone nice close to me, monsters included, no matter their age, gender, job or species, because then I will always have someone to think about, one way or another, and I will also feel safer around them. Most humans help one another just for the sake of being nice to somebody, and monsters deserve this, too. I think 'monster' is a degrading term, but... It also helps me feel less afraid of monsters in the first place, s-soo... Seeing how you're not super familiar with... the human body and all, and the way you said that you're used to living like this, it made me think of how I could make you feel better, Penelope, even if you're already feeling okay." He stands up from the bed, walking over to the desk and standing in front of it as he plays around with his thumbs for a moment at his chest. He's not done with his monologue, it seems. "So I thought... I could bring you a couple of books about humans, and if it's not a problem, I would also like to visit you every once in a while, m-maybe every day. Again, only if it's n-not a problem, of course! It's not like it will cost me anything to do so, and I'm doing this because I want to.. Let me be formal just this once... What do you say, Miss Penelope?..." He would ask her with a genuine toothy smile on his lips, expecting a reaction and an answer, certainly hoping that both of those will be a positive one. For a moment, he thinks in his head whether he should've went with Doctor Penelope or Nurse Penelope, but he decides to decide that later.
-
Hiro kindly hears out her question to him, almost immediately replying after she finished speaking. "This place is really nice, in my opinion. I can understand how you feel, since it's your first time in the academy and in the city. I would be nervous too. Like I said, I was much more nervous when I first came here. I don't think you would've been able to even speak to me, if you want me to be honest." He lets out a chuckle at his own words, beginning to enjoy this chatter with Tamamo, even if it's about simply getting accustomed to the life among humans and other monsters of all kinds. "You will grow to like-.. no. You will grow to love the city and the academy in a short amount of time. I am sure of that. As long as you make a lot of friends and then you just know there's people you can trust, it's the best experience ever." He looks at her after saying all of that with a genuine tone in his voice, smiling at her, being rather hopeful and confident all of a sudden.
-
Hiro had nothing to say to the mummy nurse's first couple of sentences, though the third one and those after that caught his attention. Remaining seated, he'd raise a brow to think about a few things. Mainly the fact that she could've been a human a long time ago. That one was interesting to think about. "Uhm... I hope it's not rude of me to ask, but... can you read with those bandaged eyes, Penelope? If you can, there are tons of books about humans in the library, including their bodies. I could... procure some and bring it back for you... but if you c-can't read, there are alternative ways thanks to human technology!" He says so, trying to sound helpful and nice, bringing up options for the nurse so that she could learn more about the human body. Obviously, there is one more way she could do that, but... As tempting as it sounds, Hiro's mind doesn't work like that. Sadly. After being given two pills, he would hop off the bed and walk up to the water dispenser. Seeing how she said 'should be' makes him rethink his words about Penelope being able to see or not. He would get himself some water and would take both of the pills, trusting the nurse and her capabilities and hoping that a medication pill made for monsters won't mess with him. He's a bit worried about that, but he will manage. Hearing out her last words, he decides to momentarily stay to simply hear out her reply to his suggestion, sitting back up on the bed and kicking his legs up on it as well, laying down as if he was in some sort of therapist's office.
-
Hiro nervously chuckled at her first response. "Don't you worry, the dining hall has plenty of things to satisfy your tummy. A bit of patience and we will be there in no time." He says so, but just in case he took a very small step away from her as he continued to lead her through the dorm building's main hallway. There was a few second silence after that, but Hiro decided to speak again. He doesn't like the unnerving silence. It makes things awkward. "If you have any questions about the academy or humans, I will try my best to answer them. I'm not the best source. Nowhere near it, but... I'll try!" He smiles at her in return, patiently awaiting her answer to his offer. In the meantime, they're forced to take a left turn on the hallway, which they do, with Hiro keeping up the lead. He sure hopes that he's not going to be a bad guide to Tamamo.
-
Hiro curiously listened to her reply once again, but it didn't seem like it satisfied him as much as he expected it to. He concluded in his mind that this youkai is playful and teasing, yet she's quite confusing when it comes to everything else. Keeping secrets is a logical conclusion as well, but he decides not to think about it too much, for now. It shouldn't concern him, because it's not any of his business. Not having any comments about her first remark, her second one caught his ears again. Narrowing his brows for a moment, he continued to smile. "Oh, believe me, there is much to do here. Since you're new here, things can get really confusing, but trust me, I think you will get used to it quickly. Lucky for you, today is a free day so there are no classes. If you want, I can show you where everything is in just under an hour, starting with the dining hall. How does that sound?" He asks, awaiting an answer, adding something at the end there. "Maybe we're even going to be in the same class as well. Who knows?" He shrugs, not seeming to have any problems if that were the case.
-
Hiro makes sure to listen to anything that Tamamo says, he even mustered up the courage to properly walk next to her instead of just walking backwards, simply because he would like to see where he's going. He even opened up his notebook to start writing down some things on a brand new page, but he'd quickly pocket it afterwards along with his pen, hoping that no questions will be asked on why he really has a notebook. His attention is now fully on Tamamo, whilst also making sure to look at where he's going. "Become stronger, I see, I see..." He murmurs to himself in response to her monologue. Nervously, he'd raise a brow at her question, but he doesn't mind responding to it. He nods a couple of times before speaking. "Yeah, I'm a human. I was transferred here from some place else. Humans are allowed in this academy too, because they are able to learn magic, but... Me? I'm just here because humans have to go to a school or an academy at my age, no m-matter what." He explains while shrugging with his shoulders at his last sentence, pocketing his hands in his jeans as he continued to walk beside her, whilst also leading her slowly to the dining hall which actually isn't quite close from there, so they have the time to chat. Looking off to the side, he is quite curious about something. About Tamamo, in particular. "Uhmm... You keep saying you 'think so'... You seem unsure about yourself and your arrival... Why's that?" At his question directed to her, he turns his gaze back at her, tilting his head a bit. Humans tend to work in mysterious ways. This one in particular definitely does so, because he doesn't look as nervous anymore. Just a little chat, and he seems much more relaxed than when they first seen each other literally moments ago. Still a bit cautious, though.
-
To him, Tamamo did have an interesting choice of outfits, but he never really questions that. There are some monsters out there who have literally no clothes on them, so there is nothing he could say about that, really. He did notice her stepping closer, but this time around he didn't step back, he simply tried to endure the nervousness. What's the worst that can happen to him, right? Another cold sweat runs down his forehead as he tries to smile properly, since before it was all weird and forced. "Ta...ma...mo? Nice n-name!" He spells her name just fine, deciding to compliment her for the sake of getting on her good side. "Yeah, I c-can show you to the dining hall. W-We can totally get going a-already!" He takes about four steps to the side whilst keeping his eye on Tamamo, simply going around her while trying to keep up that distance between them. He's already up front and walking, but in case she isn't walking with him, he would stop to look at her and wait. Once she does, however, he'd resume the pace. He turns around and walks backwards without a problem whilst looking at the youkai. It's a miracle he's not tripping. "S-So are you like... a Kyubi? Humanoid nine-tailed fox? It's the first time I'm s-seeing one in person..." He informs her, nervously snickering as he raises a hand to rub the nape of his own neck. He seems to be informed of her kind, at least visually and name-wise. At least, he hopes that he guessed right, anyway. OOC: The Dining Hall thread is currently occupied, so to not disturb anyone, we can simply remain on this thread. Just thought I'd mention!
-
He definitely looked like a human. He was wearing his usual set of clothes, those being a white button-up shirt, a black tie, black jeans and sneakers. It looked almost similar to the academy's own attire. Oh, and he also had glasses, gray eyes and gray hair. A little bit messy, but it's nothing to cry about. He carefully listens to her words, his pupils becoming slightly smaller than usual at her second sentence, probably after realizing the context. Her teasing definitely worked, because he took a step back. Two steps back. Three steps back... Four... He'd stop at his fourth step back, letting out a nervous chuckle, then speaking afterwards right away, now a reasonable distance being between the youkai and the human boy. "If you're hungry, you can a-always head to the dining hall!" He says so as he raises his notebook to cover his mouth with it, seeming to be just a little afraid. No matter the stature of any monster, he needs to be aware of his surroundings. He already learned that even small can be deadly. A cold sweat ran down his forehead, but he tried to seem nice, lowering the notebook. He's not exactly cowering in fear, he's just being overly cautious. Not wanting to really end the conversation there, he would try to make himself seem nice by continuing the chatter. "My name is Hiroshige, but Hiro is enough. I'm a first year s-student. Nice to m-meet you!" He gulps once, intently watching her as she reacts to him further.

* * * It being a completely new day after the previous exhausting one, the human boy known as Hiroshigae Saeki, otherwise known as Hiro, would exit his room to take a stroll around the academy grounds and write some things down in his little notebook. Today was a free day, luckily. Walking down the hallway, he would notice somebody he hasn't seen before in the past month of living here. It looked like a humanoid nine-tailed fox, a creature he definitely has seen on TV, but not in real life. @Seraphina He's not the one to begin conversations at all, but this time he decides to finally muster up his courage. He quickly writes down some things in his notepad at an unusually fast speed, pushing up his glasses with a finger as he approaches the girl. "U-Uhm... I haven't seen you around... Are you new?" He asks as he stutters a little bit, nervously, putting on a slight smile whilst looking up at the youkai. The stuttering could definitely be worse, but it surprisingly isn't. The first thing the girl could notice is how the presumably human boy is having a hard time trying to keep eye contact with her, but overtime that will change.
-
Ah, I see. I'm fine with it being next day, canonically. I guess I will take the liberty to begin and mention you on the post as well.
-
Oh, don't worry one bit! I do not always write that much. It depends on who I'm playing as and what the scene is about, honestly. The Hallway thread in the Dorms section is currently unoccupied by anyone. My character just came from there, but it would never hurt me going back to there again. What do you say they bump into each other (not literally, but that's very well possible) as Tamamo is looking for her dorm room (unless she already found hers and simply is taking a look around the academy)? Bumping into people is kind of common for my character, whom by the way is known as Hiroshigae Saeki.
-
I have a human character among the 1st year students who I love to play as a lot, and he could definitely be a type of person who shows Tamamo around. He is currently in use but even so, it looks like the character who he's busy with has a busy creator as well because they're not around and haven't been for about a day or so now, so I personally wouldn't mind if I began another scene with him! I have more characters, obviously, but I don't think they would be fitting as much to meet with Tamamo, since they're among the higher years and I usually try to go for logic when I pair up characters. Let me know what you think, and if you'd like to meet him then also let me know where would be the most logical place for the characters to meet! Hope you're having fun in the club so far, by the way! ^^

Keya watched and recorded as Lucy grew herself new limbs and practically made herself more vulnerable. He let out a devilish snicker and kept pointing the camera at Lucy whilst holding up his own cock with his other hand, only to see her push her hand palm-first into his cock. He was about to say something after Lance's comment about what Lucy really wants to drink, but it got cut off by the sudden burst of pleasure that he gained down there. "Ooooh, look at that! That's quite creative- Nnnnmhh!...~ Guess it doesn't hurt to make use of this for a bit...~" He said so after he was interrupted, letting out a moan but he mostly tried to keep that muffled. By now, he was biting down his lower lip as he had his eyes nearly closed, grabbing onto Lucy's wrist of the hand that she provided him with to start to slowly thrust it inside, with minimal hip movements. During this time, since Lucy's mouth was freeing up, she can definitely voice out what she really wants to drink, to fulfill Lance's orders. At Lance's second comment, he looked up at him with a grin on his face as he kept the slow thrusting pace up, licking his own lips with his tongue that was also now being bit down onto by his teeth. It doesn't look like it hurts him, so it all should be good, but he does release his own tongue so that he can speak properly. "Yeah, yeah, sure, Lance...~" He looks back down at her as he continued to hold onto her wrist, pulling himself back so that the hand pussy is freed. He'd then reach out to place the same hand against her cheek, giving it a small caress with his thumb. "I can't wait to give her a bone properly, but right now I sooo badly want to feel her mouth, I..~" This time, he cuts his own words, as he looks up at Ruben. "Hey, Rubes, hold onto this for me, alright? Make sure to get some great angles...~" He says so, then he'd lend him his phone. If Ruben took it from him, he'd notice how it is recording and it's been some minutes already. Usually the storage capacity of smart phones fill up quickly when they're recording for a while, but it doesn't look like that's a problem with his phone. At least not yet. Once his phone was finally taken from him, he'd almost immediately reach down with a hand to pull her over a bit more by just the beginning of the leash, whilst his other hand was holding onto the base of his own cock. After her head was close enough, he let go of the leash and slid just a little bit closer to her as well. He tilted his head down at her, forming a toothy smile as he placed his cock on her face and let it flop down onto it, whilst still holding onto the base. "Don't worry, dear doggy, we can always catch our breaths, right...?~" He said so, as if it was some sort of warning. He'd lean with his hips back a little bit, pressing the tip of his dick against her lips, but for a few seconds, he decided to waste time and play around with her, by constantly pulling his dick away a little bit. "You want it? Huh?~" He placed his other hand on top of her head, giving her a head pat behind her right doggy ear. Whether or not she gave some sort of response to him using words to this little play, he'd push the tip of his cock inside her mouth anyway, and then the rest of as much as he could without forcing it down her throat, letting out another moan 'cause of the immense pleasure. Surprisingly enough, he wasn't rough at all. He wanted his slime friend to taste him as well, properly, so he couldn't be rough. With slow movements in his hips, he thrust his dick into her mouth, but not too much so she is able to save energy.
-
Still a bit shaky, he'd nod a couple of times at her request and at her question. "I'm h-human, yes... and... s-sure, Miss..- err... Penelope..." He'd gulp once again, but that would be about it from him. That is, up until she came closer, at which he leaned back slightly but decided to be more courageous and let her do her thing. Upon her placing her hand on his cheek, one would expect him to be frightened, but it's actually opposite. He widened his eyes behind his glasses, obviously trying his best to not look somewhere he shouldn't, once she leaned in a bit, so he'd look up into her covered up eyes instead. He takes a rather calm breath, closing his slightly gaping mouth. He was blushing slightly, not also from the view, but also from her gentle touch. He didn't have much to say to her second remark about him being a first year, but once she stood up straight and talked more, he'd listen. He'd then suddenly notice the syringe and he'd lean back from it in reflex, starting to look anxious once again, but his attention is averted toward her question once again, his eyes daring all over the place but finally seeing the pills. He'd not waste any time in replying. "I--! I... Uhmnh.... I don't think it's so bad that n-numbing or instant relief w-would be required, so I think g-gradual is enough... T-Thank you, though, for the choice...!" He'd give her a small smile, breathing a bit heavily, but eventually he'd calm down again. "I'm pretty sure, or--... At least, I hope this isn't the case, b-but just about 30 minutes ago I was speaking to Miss Azalin, the nice Angel English teacher... I'm not sure if I looked at her bright halo too much, or... S-... Something else about her, but she's the only person I was a-around in the last 30 to 40 minutes..." He explains to the nice mummy nurse lady, forming a small smile again whilst looking up at her, but then he'd avert his eyes at the IV station. He has so many questions already, and truth be told, he's secretly fascinated about his surroundings, but he doesn't want to bother Penelope, nor he wants to interrupt her work by taking out his notebook again to start writing God knows what down, so he'd remain put and await for further instructions, questions or gentle touches. It appears he still had a small blush on his cheeks, but at this point that might as well be something permanent.
-
Once Hiro entered the room, truth be told he got a little bit spooked by the sight and even let out a little gasp, making him step back. Penelope wasn't a terrible sight, but her worn looking outfit and the rest of the details were a little bit spooky. He raised his brows and placed a hand on his chest, only to let out a relieved sigh and step in. She already realized what his problem was, so Hiro simply muttered something after the door closed behind him. "Y-Yeah, uhm... How did you...?" He asked quietly, but mid sentence he decided against it. He stood in the middle of the room and placed both of his hands behind himself, to act a bit more formal, as he stared down at Penelope who's outfit was possibly a bit too revealing for him. He gulps, as a blush forms across his face, trying his best to be polite and not indecent by staring too much. When she finished talking and told Hiro to go have a seat, he rapidly nodes a couple of times and began to finally share some information as well. "I-I'm... Hiroshige Saeki, but Hiro is e-enough..." He murmurs. As expected, he's stuttering because he's meeting somebody completely new to him. Ah, boy, here we go. "I'm a first year s-student from class 1-A..." He adds, his eyes rapidly darting over the room but mostly landing on the nurse, carefully following her movements. "It's a p-pleasure to meet you, Miss Nazair...!" He forms a small smile on his face as the cold sweat of nervousness leaves his forehead area. She's got nurse's calling. That's handy. Must be why she felt that he has a headache. That indeed is what he has, and it's not a small one, even though he looks just fine bearing it. He looks pretty normal, actually. He doesn't say anything else, however, as he'd wait for further instructions or more questions from Penelope, in the meantime fiddling with his thumbs at his lap as he sat on the bed, focusing on calming down his own breathing in the meantime.

* * * Lounging around the dorm part of the academy, mainly the hallway, Hiro was writing random things in his notebook, albeit at a slower pace than just a few minutes earlier, when suddenly he is reminded of the unknown thoughts he had before that. This made him feel dizzy, but a light headache has begun as well. He shook his head and tried to overlook that, but it came back to haunt him about fifteen minutes later. He was sitting in his own dorm room, but that light headache turned somewhat worse. He didn't even have any pills at hand either in the dorm room, although he usually does. He must've ran out, or he just couldn't find it. Either way, he decides that he's going to visit the academy's nurse. @Multiversal Problem is, he hasn't been there yet, so he takes his sweet time in trying to find his way to the nurse's office. Now being in the main part of the building, he'd take a stroll through a hallway that usually has less students and more teachers roaming around. He has never been to the nurse's office, as he had little trouble and was practically never hurt. He didn't know how the nurse looked like, or what gender they are, but he'd guess it's a woman. In his mind, he'd further guess that it's a monster, given how there's almost no regular human teachers around. Eventually, with enough looking around and enough patience, that mild headache can finally get what it deserves, because he'd find the fabled 'Nurse's Office', labelled just that on the fancy door! He'd gulp. It was after hours, and since he assumes the nurse is around until night time, or possibly even after that, he'd finally muster his courage and give two gentle knocks on the door, entering shyly right away afterwards and looking around. What would Hiro see, when he enters?
-
I was thinking something more magic related, and without her actually needing a different staff position, but she's your character and you do as you please with her. I guess I'll see what I can do, then! Hopefully Hiro will find his way to the Nurse's office, since he hasn't been there yet.
-
If Penelope is some kind of teacher as well and not just a nurse, then we can just use the Teachers' office thread, as it currently isn't used (and hasn't been used for a while). Although she would need to have limited time for her teaching and classes (for example 1 hour a day after regular classes, making it an extra class), because nurses have to stay in their offices to really be useful and available. Let me know what you think!
-
Thank you for the last reply! *Gives pudding.* As promised! I absolutely loved this small scene and I'm glad my hooman was fun to talk to. That said, I have my next suggestion. I don't want to stop bothering you just yet (unless you tell me to), because I had a small idea that I wanted to share! Since your nurse character is back, I had this idea to go and interact with her as well using Hiro, for a very simple reason like head hurting and dizziness. (FYI, I'm not sure what thread to use for that, though, since I don't think there's a Nurse's office post ) I don't wanna sound greedy here, I just feel like I can finally make up for all that time I didn't spend with you back when you were here all those months ago. Let me know if I'm being annoying!
-
Even so if that's how it seems like, you could still respond one last time. Pretty please, maybe? You don't have to, of course, if you don't want to. Only do so, if you have anything more to say or react with Azalin to Hiro's behavior or words! ^^
-
Hiro would let out a soft chuckle whilst covering his mouth with a hand, in reaction to her saying how Angels will be chanting his name, finding it a little bit amusing, but it doesn't look like he had anything to say. Moving over that, he pockets said notepad instead of holding onto it as he shakes his head in reaction to her next words. "I don't talk much, as you know, so I may not easily agree on talking to others. You, on the other hand..." He fiddles with his thumbs a little bit at his chest whilst looking off to the side for just a moment before eyeing the teacher again. "...I'll talk to you, Miss Azalin, if something is on my mind. But... Uh... You can talk to m-me too, if you have... s-something on your mind, of c-course!" He smiles warmly, definitely looking better than the first few moments she talked to him. Progress! He did stutter at the end there, possibly because of the way he said those words. To her last words, he'd nod a couple of times and takes a step back, now constantly keeping his gaze on the teacher, perhaps being a slight bit swayed from the glow of her halo, or... Is it something else that got to him? Surely can't be, right? It is unknown what is going through Hiro's mind right now. His stare indicates nothing different because he's focused on looking at what- or who's in front of him, but a cold sweat drop on his forehead indicates otherwise. Hopefully it's nothing serious. "Right, but I'd prefer if that path found me instead." He chuckles once again, this time more wholeheartedly. "Take care, Miss Azalin! Until next English class, I suppose!" He would give her a small wave, looking for any reaction as he would wait for her to leave. Once she does turn around to leave, Hiro would turn around to face the other way as well, only to raise a hand to cover his mouth again, a bit disturbed at presumably his own thoughts given his contracted pupils beneath his glasses. After a second, the sound of loud writing emits from him, as he's writing something in his notebook once again, quite fast.
-
A splendid morning (or night) to everyone out there! Oooh, fresh meat in the Ironclaw Academy! Welcome to the club, @Seraphina! I hope that you will enjoy your time here. I always love to see new people come around and make their characters, everyone is so creative with them and honestly I just can't wait to meet these characters myself but, don't worry, I'll keep myself at bay to not pressure anyone.
-
Hey @Multiversal, hope you had a great day! Really hope you're enjoying this little scene between Hiro and Azalin! I certainly am.
-
"I'll keep that in mind..." Hiro would respond so to her wanting to know more about feelings if he himself ever grows any for somebody, closing his eyes but keeping that small smile of his as he gets physical affection from Azalin. He was never really pat on the head before, but it felt great. Felt like a true Angel's touch, even. Hurr durr! He'd let out a nervous chortle at her response to him sharing his name, shaking his head. "I don't expect Angels to be all around me like that, but it's not like I'd think bad of it... If anything, I'd feel honored... It's not every day a human gets to talk to an Angel, right?" He raises a hand to scratch the back of his neck, having a slight blush on his cheeks. At her final thoughts and responses, he'd nod a couple of times quickly. "I-... Thank you, Miss Azalin...! Alright, I'll keep that in mind as well...!" He would show a small grin to her, bringing back out his own notepad and pen, flipping it open and looking down at it for a moment, quickly writing down a couple of lines in the same manner as Azalin, surprisingly enough. A real competition here with who writes the fastest, truth be told. A drop of cold sweat runs down his right temple as he fastens the writing pace even more, the pen nearly fuming, no longer smiling. Just like that, he'd close up the notepad and look back up at the English teacher, reforming the smile on his face from earlier. "I should be able to converse more freely... I need to build up courage to talk to just about anyone, but now that we talked, I think I'll be able to respond faster and... better...!" Since Azalin is presumably still there, he thought he'd mention this quick information, as he values that information about himself.
