Sol's around, just rarely around Monster Academy. But I agree, it'd be great to see Lance around! I was meaning for Lucy to pester him about that party he promised (since it got somewhat set up with Lucy x Karnis topic), and I guess she could do that in person!

The message was immediately read by Lucy, and her response was almost just as quick - aside from the few seconds she spent on examining the flyer. OOOOH Quickly followed by: Ayyy I wanna! The "in-writing" bubble popped up a couple times before the last message arrived: Keyaaa you in?

"Huh, someone paid attention in their biology classes. Good points, K!" Lucy chuckled, genuinely impressed by her friend's knowledge of the subject. She was quickly getting from that strangely melancholic mood back into her old self, not really caring to reminisce about these things any longer. The topic was, indeed, not really fit for the occasion, and she certainly didn't want the mood to turn into a downer. Although she still was curious about one thing. "Ever think about what you wanna do after the Academy?" she asked. "I don't think I would mind staying around this world for a bit longer. You know, the music's good, the food's tasty.. the boys are cute," she smirked, winking towards Karnis.

I've still yet to finish that Lucy x Karnis thread I have with @JennyDK. I guess it won't hurt if I have two simultaneous topics running, since the event gives me somewhat of a time limit :v

Uhh, definitely no EcchiTexting people. You can either manually follow a topic, or you auto-follow it when you make a post in it. Nobody will get notified about stuff you post in the announcement topic unless they manually go out of their way to follow it (which is why I've been pushing that in both this and Valnis' OOC threads) ...Right now only the four of us are following the MA Announcements topic.

The announcement is in an "announcement topic" which most people won't even realize exists, since you're not automatically following it, keep that in mind. If people are reading the OOC talk, I imagine they'd understand how things work, but with how much is going on here, I can see them just ignoring it. I feel like you may be just overestimating the reach we're having. It's not RxKxL, it's LRK (read as "Lurk"). And that's a hill I'm willing to die on. (Edit: KLR, a.k.a. "Clear" can also work, but I prefer the former one >.>)

How would it sound if Lucy x Ruben x Keya combo (Team LRK ) took care of the music for the dance? I'm thinking they could maybe even form a band just for the event, but I can see them just as well chilling in the backstage, playing DJ. @Thatannoyinggod @Godot For me, preferable would be obviously the Monday after this one, since that's when my finals end, but it'd be rather late from now. If this Monday works well, I guess I'll be able to fit some RPing throughout the week. How is the dance going to work anyways? Since the dancing itself is going to be the main event and I imagine you'd still want to avoid a single cramped thread.

@JennyDK Your club, your rules - just throwing in how I feel about it. @Thatannoyinggod I'd be down to set up a scene between Misty and Edgar (again :p). Misty's going to need a body for the dance, and, remembering the doll-running scene, I'd say he's the first person she'd imagine going with that request!

I have to say, I'm not a fan of the "Queen of Monsters" idea. I feel like the monster world works best if left undefined, allowing for some freedom of interpretation and head-canons, and giving a lore statement like the one that the monsters have a singular ruler largely takes that away. I'm also not sure where exactly would you get to roleplay as her - I doubt a sovereign would have much personal interest in a single school on the other side of the portal - and there aren't many other characters that would get to approach her. Oh, I was... intending to use all of them I mean, there's so many people my characters can ask out! I'm also highly considering bringing Misty back for the dance, I have a couple interesting ideas in mind

I'll advocate against that - having the academy be a self-contained setting helps in keeping it cohesive and sets the right scope for the setting. Not to mention, there's already plenty of areas to write in. While an idea like a trip to monster lands sounds great, I'd see it work better in more of a "side-story" kind of system, where a thread (or threads) are set up just for that specific premise. I've been doing stuff like that in EcchiTexts so far, and it's been working quite well, but if we want a more public way of doing things, that's what I'd suggest.

Pretty well all things considered. Still stressing out quite a bit, but I actually managed to get a good bit of sleep today, which helps a lot!
