  1. Anpu slowly strolled through the hallway, making sure to examine any corner or nook that a small lust demon could have possibly fit in. It was highly unusual for her to get called by the LuBelle sisters @JennyDK of all people, and this felt way too much like some sort of an elaborate prank for her to just blindly walk into the unknown. The cryptic tone of the message she got didn't really help either. So far, however, everything seemed unusually calm - she didn't notice any strange runes written on the walls, no weird noises that would signify that something was to jump out of one of the closed rooms - but the funny feeling she had about all this didn't yet escape her. In truth, what added to it was the fact that she couldn't find Master Havershan anywhere around the academy. She wasn't exactly sure why he wasn't at the library. Maybe he got tired of waiting for her and went into this wing to search for help? But then how would the siblings tie into all this? Did they kidnap him? Are they holding him hostage? It took Anpu a moment to realize that the image her mind was bringing up was in fact quite absurd, even if it were after all the LuBelle sisters she was thinking about. Maybe she was being just a bit too paranoid. Finally, after few more minutes of reassuring herself, Anpu reached the door of the room towards which she was guided to. She adjusted her clothes, her fluffy tail gently swirling around her body in its usual - protective motion. Her hand rested on the handle, slowly applying pressure as she leaned slightly towards the room. "Hello?" she asked quietly. "Is anybody in there?" she continued after a second, in a slightly more confident tone.
  2. [ OOC: New scene: Lamp x Hiro ] The sun was up in the sky as Lamp roamed around the academy, scouting out the labirynths of corridors and bouncing around the mostly-empty classes. Her classes have already ended, and so she decided to take some time getting a better grasp at the academy's layout - a good enough one not to mistakenly barge into three different (and completely wrong) classrooms when heading for her lessons tomorrow - like she definitely didn't do today. Well, thankfully the teachers were kind enough to eventually guide her to the right room, and afterwards she managed to get by by simply sticking to her classmates as they went from classroom to classroom. Although she still lost more than fifteen first minutes of Human Society to Mr. von Braun's visible discontent. Apparently they have had discussed the layout of the building yesterday, during the orientation class - the very one she happened to have been absent from. But it wasn't her fault, really. I mean, whose decision was it that the lessons would start in the mornings? What was it with all these people and thinking that daytime hours were good for anything other than good, deep sleep? It was quite preposterous. But alas, apparently it seemed to be some kind of a weird custom around here, and if she wanted to remain in the academy, she would have to adapt. So now she walked circles around the academy with a timetable in hand, making sure to mark where exactly her classes would be tomorrow, before she would head back to her dorm and take a good day's worth of sleep. Thankfully she was mostly around done. She had only yet to find the classroom for herbalism (which she found herself quite excited about) and history (which she wasn't excited about at all). Oh, and also find someone to inform that the uniform she got was way too tight - thankfully so far none of the teachers seemed to care much about the dress code (to the point where Lamp saw some monsters who seemed to walk around school completely naked) - but she still wanted to get this over with, just in case some uptight beak took issue to her walking in what was pretty much beach-wear (to her defense, finding clothing fit for four arms and a pair of wings on top of that seemed near-impossible in this city.) She rounded the corner, expecting to find yet another corridor of similar-looking plain doors, but her eyes widened as a pair of two quite majestic doorwings loomed before her eyes, the sunlight invitingly beckoning her closer as it bounced off their polished handles and rich, decorative ornaments. She near-instantly forgot what she was looking for as a sense of wonder filled her to the brim. What could have been hiding behind such a majestic gate, she wondered. Surely something grandeur! Her wings flapped quietly as she slowly hovered closer, with deep care reaching for the ornate handle... @Godot
  3. I was actually thinking of creating one myself, I'm just afraid I may not have enough time to take care of it properly :v
  4. Cyberpunk ERP club when?
  5. Yup, I find Anpu to be quite fitting for the more magic-related stuff from among my characters. The magic and potion wing does sound like the ideal place, especiall since there haven't been much activity there so far.
  6. WHO DARES SUMMO- Oh, hey Jenny! I'm glad to be around once again too ^^ Although I'm not sure how that's gonna look in the nearby future with CP2077 releasing tomorrow lol. If I recall correctly, we've still yet to start that familiar summoning scene, don't we?
  7. Well the Lamp-post is up
  8. For the last time Jenny- :DDD
  9. Well, I guess her name is Lamp now
  10. The problem is I got like three more on my hard drive
  11. I know, right :& I'm having trouble deciding which picture to use for a new character
  12. "Well that's the spirit, goof!" Lucy smiled with a certain sort of sisterly pride in her expression. Karnis' words helped reassure her that she wasn't pushing the gazer too hard and that the girl really wanted to do this herself, dispeling any worries that the slime-girl had. And she was glad to see that K was succeeding in fighting her insecurities. The gooey hand kept mindlessly petting Karnis' cheek, as the slime-girl fell into thought for a second, enjoying the closeness of a friend. She withdrew it a moment later, thinking out loud. "I'll give Lance a call then. Now he's probably-" she stopped once more for a split second, realizing that at this hour Lance would most likely not be sleeping at all. "Well, I'll hit him up in class I guess," she concluded her train of thought with a soft smile. She opened the drink, not giving much attention to the bottlecap that flew off somewhere into the corner of her room, and took a good long sip. Her attention was brought towards the screen of the laptop, and the scene of a movie that she completely missed the entire plot of in the recent couple minutes. It would take her some time to understand what the movie was about, but she didn't really care about it all that much at this point, and it seemed that the film focused mostly on character and situational comedy, so they haven't missed that much. She recognized one of the actors, from some other comedy she watched, likely. He had a very distinct face. It was curious how humans differentiated each other based on their faces. Lucy found herself once again drifting away from the movie. "K, what do you think about humans? Like, in general."
  13. "Of course they'll wanna hang out with you, goofball!" Lucy smiled, reaching to gently caress Karnis' cheek. "You're creative, you've a great sense of humor, and on top of that you're just straight-up adorable. What's there not to like?" she asked with a friendly chuckle. There was a reason why the slime-girl grew so close to her little friend - if one managed to get through the shy and cautious exterior of the gazer, they'd have trouble finding someone who was more imaginative, affectionate, or expressive than Karnis was. "Besides, who says you need to be such-and-such to hang out with people?" Lucy picked up after a moment, going by Karnis' example and grabbing herself her own bottle of soda. "As long as you're willing to have some fun, play some party games, and y'know, listen to the same stories for the tenth time through the evening, you'll be just fine!" she concluded, hoping to have helped with her friend's insecurities at least a bit.
  14. No problem, with how often I keep you waiting, it's only fair I do some waiting of my own
  15. For sure! I can see them just snatching her off a hallway to help them in a "project"
  16. Also, if anyone here wants a scene with any of my characters, let me know, I've been away for a while and there's plenty of new people I'd be down to write a bit with!
  17. As she listened to her friend respond, Lucy found herself unable to supress a cheeky grin that widened on her face at the sight of the reaction she got out of the gazer. Few things brought her as much joy as seeing Karnis happy. Even if it was just from a silly pun. With a soft "swoosh," the slime-girl's head fell back into the pillow, still turned towards her friend. "It's gonna be fineeee, K," she murmured, still smiling softly. "People will always find a way to entertain themselves. And I'm sure they will be eager to see more of you!" she affirmed. Obviously she didn't want to force Karnis to do something she wouldn't want to, but on the other hand, there was a sense of obligation within her that convinced her to try and gently push the gazer out of her comfort zone. After all, as Karnis herself (quite adorably) stated, Lucy wouldn't be always there to hold her hand. The gazer couldn't be avoiding people all her life. The best Lucy could do is help lil' K take these few first steps.
  18. @JennyDK If you're still looking for someone to have the summoning scene with, I believe Anpu would be helpful to have around ^^
  19. "Uhm... I'm sure he can keep things a bit... calmer than usual," responded the slime-girl, with an expression that at first conveyed "seeking reassurance" but quickly shifted to "reassuring" as she kept talking. She was herself beginning to have some doubts about the idea - or rather about Lance's competence regarding realizing it, but did her best not to show them, hoping not to discourage her rather bashful friend. A grin widened on her face as she picked up in a more confident tone. "Besides, I'll be there with you - your own, personal Party-Evacuation-Slime!" she exclaimed, pointing finger-guns at the gazer and almost knocking down a bowl of popcorn onto her - thankfully, a mostly empty one. A pair of goo-formed sunglasses emerged out of Lucy's forehead and stylishly slid down onto her eyes (regardless of the three actual lenses that already adorned her face.) She let out a short chuckle, and sunk the gooey spectacles back into her body. "Don't worry, I'm sure he'll manage. It'll be a breath of fresh air for him to do something quieter for once. Alcohol and loud music do get boring after some time," in a softer voice, she continued her assurances.

  21. Lucy turned in the bed to face Karnis, completely ignoring the movie playing in front of them and refocusing her attention completely on her friend. It was clear that the topic was difficult for Karnis, so she attempted to give some reasurrance to the gazer with a hearty smile. She considered breaking the tension with some joke, but decided against it - she didn't want to downplay Karnis' concerns. "Didn't Lyncus propose a party back in class? We could go together if you want to, get you accustomed to peeps," she suggested, recalling the conversation they had with the cat this morning. "I'll tell Lyn to keep things down and if things get overwhelming, we can always leave early. What do you say?" the slime-girl asked, resting her head on her hand, supporting the weight on the elbow as she looked at the other girl.
