Not sure about the speakers if only for pragmatic purposes. There aren't a lot of places that the club speakers wouldn't be over-powering them, and any other more quiet locations have the intent of escaping the music. However, the RGB hair changing to the music is fine, and she could still connect to the DJ's audio so the audio could be pumped directly into her own ears, like a sort of built-in headphones she can turn on and off at will and modify the volume. So if she leaves for the more quiet rooms like the pool but wants to hear the music still, she can just activate that and listen.

Indeed! So it's definitely an idea that's staying in. A great view, and also allows those upstairs to peek down and see what's happening below.

Excellent posts @Chiyako and @PurePuppy. I'll have to amend the description of the setting so I make sure everyone knows about the Rosebud stamp. It was an addition in my post and until I saw you each mention it I realized it's not listed in any official reference material. Also: having transparent floors to the upper floors is a pretty good idea, PurePuppy. I'll probably adjust the thread's description to include that detail, though it'll be limited or maybe modified so as to still fit the images provided. No need to change your post, though. The threads are now unlocked and I've made the first post in the main hall. Feel free to drop your character wherever you wish. I'd say for the moment the action isn't quite intense yet, but feel free to write any sort of activity the characters may be witnessing or even experiencing from NPC's in your introductory posts.

@Lollipop If it would make more sense to just pop open a new thread for Xander's room and continue there, feel free to do so. He'll likely just camp out by his lonesome for a bit for now.

Xander was glad that the young concierge woman was willing to acquiesce, allowing him to simply head right for a room. Picking up the pen on the desk and twirling it in his fingers, he nodded, curious that everything in this hotel was free. Including... the company? He paused, looking up to notice the blush on her face. Yes, he certainly heard and understood her right. Before he could sign anything, however, the atmosphere of the room had changed. He looked over his shoulder, his dragon god companion rather tense as the red-haired woman in Victorian clothing seemed ready to lunge. There was animosity in her eyes and voice, yet it seemed to Xander that she did not know who the dragon god was so much as know what he was... or, at least, strongly believe she knew. He stood upright, preparing to dive over the counter and grab hold of the hostess should he need to try and shield her, but instead yet another woman seemed to appear out of nowhere. The second she appeared Xander stopped thinking. He simply signed his name, placed down the pen, and nodded. @BladeRunner @Seraphina Hopefully Roland is an amusing character and will continue to be so as I just posted once more. I was hoping to keep up with the goings on in the tavern but sadly have yet to be able to.

Roland's mouth opened to comment upon the satchel and powder at first, but then immediately silenced himself upon seeing the red-skinned hobgoblin extend his arms out. Though the Incubus seemed quite boorish in manner, he was, in fact, quite studious and observed both the gestures of his newly met companion as well as the blue powder that filtered the air, soon transforming into a bubble of sorts. Immediately Roland stood to his feet, his horns able to pierce the bubble though he could neither feel it nor did it result in the barrier being pierced by any noise. "What ho there!" he declared, but there was no response from the surrounding patrons. Even the glare of the little fairy seemed more of observance than disturbance. "You seemed quite at work here," his companion stated, stepping into the blue ring. "What is a crimson-fleshed Hobgoblin looking at?" Roland did not notice or perceive the inflection in the fellow's comment regarding his skin-tone, but instead gave his new compatriot a might smack on his back shoulders with a guffaw, powerful enough to at least urge the fellow forward. "Well met good stranger! Is the powder a compound you yourself have made or do you procure it somewhere?" He then immediately shakes his head and his hand. "Nevermind, we can discuss such things later. I am Roland Greyplains, procurer and seller of artifacts, trinkets of old, and treasures of the land. A recent expedition team recently brought in a golden bangle just like this one." His finger stabbed at the parchment with the illustration of the bangle in question before pointing at the various notes he had written down. "As you can see, I am in the process of determining which potential time frame it came from, which culture, and if it is a specific and unique bangle or one of many. It is certainly pre-war, though perhaps only fifty to fifteen years before it all began, which already prices it at a decent sum. Yet I wish to discover more specifics to get a more accurate determination of its value." With a wide smile he looked up to his new partner. "With double the hands and double the eyes I feel I might stumble upon more details of its make. And do not worry, friend, for I shall ensure a percentage of the earnings shall be forwarded to your address once it has found an owner. I do not take those that assist me for granted." With that said, and giving the hobgoblin little time to respond, he began to go over his notes, comparing similarities to jewelry of different regions and different races, helping him to pin down a few guesses as to what sort of origin the bangle might have. @BladeRunner @Seraphina

No one new seems to be joining so I guess I'll unlock the threads for activity some time this week. Perhaps that'll draw more participants in. Sorry to be so unorthodox and slow paced in starting things up.

Sorry for the late response @DreamsnThings. To answer your question: in terms of sci-fi, most technology would probably fine so long as it doesn't approach levels of "magic science". Teleportation technology, lightsabers, those would not really fit. Something modern but amped up is the best way to perceive it. So, your character is fine, especially since one of the options is for fully synthetic android characters with sentience. While something like vampires or demons or cat people, etc. might seem unfitting for a Cyberpunk (unless it's specifically Shadowrun), I wanted to give players some degree of freedom considering how otherwise limited the setting could be. @Chiyako looks to have used the cyberpunk setting to explain her character's traits via genetic experimentation, which is also fine. One again, most traits are okay, but no magic. There's obviously some wiggle room if you can play as, say, a vampire, but best to not be turning into a bat or conjuring things, especially since it kind of has no place in the game. Hopefully that answered your questions, though a bit late after you made your character. I think I'll wait on a few more character sheets before opening things up. That way there are more odds of people being able to interact with one another. Something I failed to make note of in the description and may wish to add is that the atmosphere is such that you don't need to be obligated to perform a full scene with anyone. It's a setting where the attendants may simply sample from one to another for a bit, perhaps coming back to familiar faces for a bit more sampling or the decision to go all the way, so hopefully that will encourage players to interact with one another even if what they're looking for doesn't wholly match up, or if they just want to have a chat for a bit to get their character interacting or moving somewhere.

The topics themselves are set to locked until there's enough interest for me to feel confidant to open 'em. Players are free to create character sheets, though.

Character sheets don't need too much detail in a setting like this. However, the following template will help inform other players of what sort of character you're playing and what you, personally, are looking for. Can be as minor as a mole or birth mark in a specific spot, piercings on ears, nipples, tongue, etc., height dimensions, measurements, etc. Don't need to be detailed, but can be as detailed as you'd like. General Info: Any details regarding their background. The Garden of Hedonism is not just open to common folk, but celebrities as well. A popular net streamer? A notorious hacker? A newly promoted executive looking to celebrate your climb up the corporate ladder? A famous actress or musician? Place any details here. Favorites: Any sexual activity you enjoy most or are most actively seeking, be it straight up positions (doggystyle), specific activities (blowjobs or cunnilingus), or "atmospheric", for lack of a better term (cum walks). Also list out potential number of partners desired at once, if you'd like. Consent: List either Required or Assumed. Required means players have to first reach out to the player to make sure sexual interaction is fine, even if it's as simple as an @ in Out of Character discussion and "Hey is your character free?" Assumed, on the other hand, means you do not need to seek that player's consent to interact in a sexual manner. However, it is recommended you still follow the above guidelines for what that player is seeking. So if you have a male character and they are only seeking female characters, you should not just expect to have your character go up and rub their dick all over them.

Visitors entering from the main lobby will find themselves walking down a hallway that branches towards its end. If they go straight ahead, they will reach the main bar and dance floor. If they deviate to the left, they will continue towards the main lounge. If they choose to instead go up the stairwell they will find themselves on the upper floor, overlooking either the dance floor or the lounge. However, perpendicular to these two bars is a wall and set of doors of glass, positioning an indoor pool right above the main lobby and overlooking the city ahead and street below. The water of the pool is heated and it is kept rather shallow. Don't worry, it is also regularly flushed and cleaned so that it is spick and span every opening hour! No wait staff comes to this location, so best enter with your drink already in hand. Swimwear is optional.

Those that continue forward will be taken to the main bar and dance floor while those that head to the left will be led to the lounge. However, between these two paths is a staircase that leads to the upper floor, splitting off to two separate bars. One bar is over the main bar and dance floor, allowing visitors to listen to the music at a somewhat lower volume, partaking in the energy of the club while focusing less on chatter. The other bar is above the lounge and features chambers for any visitor to hop into and dance, making a show of themselves for all the onlookers. This is the only part of the club that serves food and is the third most quiet part of the club. Behind the main bar is an exquisite view of the city, and those in the lounge may be able to glimpse upwards to see up the skirts of some of any girls dancing in the chambers.

If they turn to the left and bypass the stairs to the upper floor, however, they will find themselves in the spacious lounge. This is the second most quiet spot in the club, and where many frequent visitors come in order to catch up with familiar faces or simply enjoy a more social yet comfortable experience with others. Don't worry, the upholstery is regularly cleaned and looks fresh and new every opening hour. Some still dance on the open floor here, but not many. There are wait staff ready to come and take your order if you wish to get a drink without making the journey to the bar.

From the main lobby all visitors are ushered through a hallway that splits off into two directions. On the left they will be taken to the lounge as well as the stairwell to the upper floor. If they continue ahead, however, then they will ascend the steps to the main bar and the dance floor. This is, by far, the loudest spot of the club, where you can barely hear yourself think and have to shout in order for the bartender to maybe, possibly, hopefully hear what drink you've ordered. Often the first destination for those new to the club, either because they are just used to walking right in, getting a drink, and hopping onto the dance floor like all other clubs, or are interested in getting into "the action" with as few words as possible.
