  1. Yep! You caught it. Robin has a little moment of repression making her afraid of her own arousal. It's a little that she's feeling aroused with Velvet, but mostly that she's feeling that strongly aroused at all.
  2. Robin's heart was in a tumble, galloping in her chest, but her arms and legs only moved in fitful half-motions. Unsure where to put her hands, unsure where to turn her head, she felt half a mannequin being posed by Velvet's gentle guidance. She felt herself being settled onto Velvet's lap, sitting in a pose that she'd seen in movies before—though with her inexperience she felt more like a nervous child sitting in Santa Claus's lap at the mall. Velvet was swift to dispel the feeling though. Her skin was beginning to pink as Velvet instructed her to imagine whoever she liked—though Robin's brain was too on fire to picture anyone for several seconds. Her lips, as dark as a midnight pool, were tracing Robin's skin, her breath exciting the small nerves of Robin's face. The pull of Velvet's hands on Robin's slender hip, a space unused to bareness and alive with the electric sensation of being touched somewhere for the first time. Not that she'd never had a hand on her hip or thigh, but it was always through clothing—always the familial touch or a friend getting her attention—never like this. And as Velvet's dark fingernails wove their way into her hair, Robin began to feel bits of her braid slowly... thread by thread... beginning to unbind themselves. Robin closed her eyes. The room disappearing, she tried to picture Derek in that soft touch. But it didn't seem right, and the more she tried to imagine it, the fuzzier the image became... dissolving away until Dylan's dark, cryptic expression focused in her mind's eye. She imagined him closing his eyes just like she was. And feeling Velvet's lips on hers, she imagined his soft, almost feminine lips caressing her. The pressure of that kiss came harder than she expected, harder than she had ever practiced with her friend back home, during their midnight sleepovers. And as Velvet's tongue slipped between her lips, Robin couldn't help but let out a small, quavering moan, high in her throat. She felt—different—alive in a way she hadn't before. She felt her breath coming faster through her nose at the wet contact, envisioning Dylan in the dark behind her eyes, and Velvet's kiss seemed to melt the tension in her neck and shoulders. Her stomach fluttered... Was it supposed to feel like this? It was just practice. Why did it feel like she really was kissing a boy she liked? She was kissing Velvet—and the room was warm—so why were her nipples beginning to peak? Why did it feel like she needed to use the bathroom—her thighs pressing together against the soft warmth blossoming deep inside her core. Robin pulled back, a small gasp escaping as her pale eyes rapidly blinked and looked away in embarrassment. "I'm sorry! S-sorry," she said faintly, biting her lip and pulling her shoulders together as she ran her hands over her forearms, tugging the micro-jacket's white sleeves. "That was–I mean–I di-didn't expect... um..." With a gulp, Robin became acutely aware of Samantha and Lizzie watching them, the embarrassment making her face flush even more. "Maybe I'm not ready for that... with a boy, I mean. That was... oh my gosh... that was intense." Glancing to the fashionistas once more, Robin lowered her voice, in a bare whisper to Velvet. "I think we should get going. The, um, the party is already starting." Though, in the moment, the words sounded more like: rescue me, please?
  3. I'm keeping that in mind, but I don't think we're there yet. Robin is still too much in her assumed hetero identity and is fitting Velvet into the only template that her mind can really use right now: 'she's such a good friend'. We'll see how it goes, but I think Robin is going to still be moon-eyed for Dylan by the time she gets to the party.
  4. Robin is going to be so confused before she even gets to the party I think you're good to do the opening in the new thread @DreamsnThings
  5. Aye aye, Cap'n! Whenever you set up 'MH2 - Summer Folk: The Hotness' (or whatever you call it), Velvet and Robin can slip in there while you pick up with Selene and Dylan. And you can just pop in if Samantha and Lizzie do anything Robin + Velvet would notice.
  6. Also a good point. Doesn't have to be expressly NSFW stuff. Could just be for instances where the main group splits for side scenes. I know it's probably easier for our MC to only have to mind one thread at a time for NPCs and reactions, but I'm not sure it would be considerably more work to have a B-side thread to pop in on occasionally.
  7. I'm down for this. I see the appeal of breaking off as a separate club, but I think showing this one is lively might draw more player for other eRPGs. Kind of a 'one bonfire is easier to keep lit than a dozen torches' sort of idea.
  8. Robin's at the point where she would say 'wait' if things start getting sexual, but if there's even a little pause respecting that, the String Velvet has on her will get her willingly nodding and going along with things. She's feeling it, but just scared of those feelings and coasting on the belief it's just practice and kinda 'doesn't count' if she doesn't think too hard about it.
  9. I don't think you need to spoil any surprises there. Earlier in the discussion, we ended up ruling that Sex Moves could be asymmetrical. One person might consider it sex while another doesn't, and in that case only the person who considers it sex will trigger their sex move. So it sounds like Velvet's move will trigger but Robin's won't. And that's ok.
  10. I'd say, Robin's instinct will be to pull back as soon as Velvet tries to touch her over or under the bikini. But if you spend a String, I would take the xp to have Robin stay still and go along with Velvet's plan here. Also, @roll to seduce if Samantha and Lizzie are doing anything through this, please feel free to jump in. Robin still has a pretty Christianized, heteronormative view of sex, so 'at this second' she's not going to consider it sex (as far as her Sex Move goes) until there's some sort of insertion, and even then, I'm still debating how she'll consider girl on girl stuff with tongue or fingers.
  11. Haha, yeeeeeah... Elected for the 'surrender' option given the situation. So no need to spend a String, and you still get the one you just earned on Robin. I want to make sure we get to the party before too much longer to get everyone back in the loop, but Velvet's move definitely works here.
  12. Robin stiffened bit, going still as her brain tried to process what was happening, misfiring at each gentle trace of Vel's fingertips on her bare skin. The soft curve of her butt tightened up and her chest suddenly felt like her ribs were suffocating her, too tight for her lungs. But in spite of all of this, Robin was aware of a warm blossoming in her body, like she'd just stepped into a hot bath and that warmth was spreading through every vein, from toe to fingertip. She felt suddenly like she might have to go to the bathroom, and reflexively gave a small, anxious laugh. "V-velvet..." Robin stammered. Her face felt hot, and she awkwardly looked away from Velvet's eyes. She was so close, nearly nose to nose, and Robin felt hyperaware of every point of contact. From the brush of her T-shirt against Robin's bare skin, to the pressure of her breasts against the bandeau strip covering Robin's pebbling nipples. She smelled like honey and cypress, and in her dark hair, Robin felt she could detect a distant scent like the burning of applewood in a bonfire. Yes. That's what she smelled like—like a fire burning in far away darkness. The offer was terrifying in its implications. But she believed Velvet could sense things about her, just like her prescient comment earlier that seemed to come directly from Robin's past. She knew... without Robin telling her, she knew... Virgin. Scared. Inexperienced. And of course, Robin knew she was inexperienced. She'd never been with a boy. She only knew what she'd seen on TV. When she was still young, she and a girl from her Sunday school had talked about things like that, of course. They'd shared theories and their limited knowledge. When they grew bolder, having sleepovers as friends often did, they'd tried practicing kissing... just to see what it was like... to find out what the fuss was about. And when her father had walked in on them practicing, the storm that followed made certain she never did it again. In fact, she'd never seen that girl again... her family stopped coming to their church shortly after that—after all, her father was a deacon, and the deacon helped to protect the flock. Robin's lips drew tight, her nerves making her breath come short and shallow. She glanced anxiously past Velvet to Samantha and Lizzie, seeing them watch with unmasked interest. Practice. That's all Velvet was offering, right? Just like the kissing practice she'd done years before—though this time, perhaps it would be practice put to use. But just a warm up. But for what? For Derek? To feel his hand on her bare butt... to feel his lips on hers... Robin knew it would not feel the same, instinctively, she just knew it. Kissing a girl like Velvet wouldn't be like kissing a man like Derek Evans... though, it might be close to the experience of kissing Dylan. Her heart was racing. Time felt stretched, and Robin knew she was taking too long to answer. But if things did go well... if she and Derek—or Dylan—ended up alone... did she want to arrive there with 'no idea' what to do? What to expect? "Ok..." Robin said in a small voice. Her eyes closing, her lips parting slightly. "I... Please... teach me what to do." Time was short. They had to be at the party soon, and Robin still needed her makeup done. But right then, her world shrank to the slim space between her and Velvet. She knew Samantha and Lizzie were watching, and she knew they had cameras in the room... but Robin had no space in her heart or mind to consider whether or not those cameras were recording, or how far Velvet would take this 'kissing practice'.
  13. Definitely roll to Turn Robin On. It feels super appropriate for the situation I'm cool with what Velvet is doing as a player. Once I get a chance to write a reply, it's going to freak Robin out and get response probably depends a lot on the result of that Hot roll.
  14. I bet they'd have some cross jewelry and patches to pin in But that mostly came from the AI hearing 'cross necklace' and just assuming we wanted crosses on everything. Not sure how to get around that one yet.
  15. Yeah, I took the elements of your description, tried to get it kinda close to Robin and let an AI take a few whacks at it. It had a lot of trouble understanding the ring in the center of the top you described, but did pretty good on some other stuff I thought it might be a nice little compliment to the moment.
  16. And Robin's going to have a panic-attack the second she has to wear this in front of anyone besides these three
  17. Robin's cheeks pinked as Velvet extolled her various virtues and the sex appeal of her admittedly innocent and guileless face. The fire she still felt at her choice pushed her on, holding her firm as her gothic friend selected the pieces of her outfit. "Thank you," she said a little breathlessly, feeling embarrassed by the compliments. It felt exceedingly strange to be in a room with three gorgeous young women, college-aged girls who had clearly had experience in using makeup and fashion to highlight their own natural appeal, and to be told that she had something they couldn't pull off. The idea sent a flutter through her chest that simultaneously made her want to squeal at the acceptance and to bury her face in the nearest pillow out of bashfulness. "I–This means so much," she added finally, mustering the courage to look back into Velvet's celestial eyes. "You are so beautiful and confident, and I'm just so... me." Looking down at the outfit she'd initially tried on, Robin looked at the slenderness of her pale limbs, the relative modesty of her chest, and couldn't help but feel the contrast with Velvet's curves and softness, the exposed arc of the other girl's hip where it met her thigh and a slice of butt-cheek was laid bare for the world to see and desire. Feeling jittery and a little silly at her show of gratitude, Robin looked down at the ensemble in Velvet's hands. For a moment she was confused why the outfit had a belt but no top—her ears flushing even harder as she figured it out. Velvet's smooth and reassuring tone swiftly calmed her though, and Robin gave a nod as she accepted the bundle. "Ok. I'll stop stalling and try this on." And slipping behind the curtain for a moment, Robin hastily changed, tightening the bikini as best she could before slipping on the mini jacket and taking a deep breath. "It's ok," she whispered. "This is good. Change is good." A moment later, Robin emerged from behind the curtain. She wasn't covering herself the way she had with the first outfit, but it was clear from the stiff way her arms fidgeted at her side that she was fighting the impulse. "Well...?" she asked cautiously, biting her lip and staring with tentative hope in her eyes. "Am I party ready?" (Pic - not perfect but hopefully caught the spirit of the outfit Velvet selected)
  18. A flash of concern washed over Emily as she felt Scylla momentarily thrash in feral urgency to avoid being crushed by the kaiju's massive bulk. Scrambling to right herself on the monster that was both adversary and battlefield, Scylla's tentacles whipped in furious confusion. For a moment, Emily wanted to drop her connection with the drone, to focus all her attention on helping her BioFrame... but if she did and she let the Hive broadcast go out... Her eyes squeezing closed tight enough to feel the hot misting at her eyelids, Emily subvocalized, "Hang in there, girl... help is coming." But that was all she could do. Turning her focus back to the sensor array, she took control of the tentacle linking them to the drone, furiously focused on cracking the military-grade IC protecting it. While the neurofluid still linked them, the division in their focus began to fray the connection, and Emily could feel it in the staccato irregularity of Scylla's tendrils still caressing and holding her, as well as in her own distraction... the way her face pulled back from the slick surface and her body tensed against the natural flow of the cockpit's black flesh. //I'm good with 2 and then carrier arrives Burglary to take control of drone (3 successes so far) = 3 = (roll 0, 0, +1, +1) + (Burglary +1) Fight to keep the Kaiju's attention = 2 = (roll -1, 0, +1, +1) + (Fight +2) - (Disoriented -1 Fight) //
  19. I love it I've got it think of how she'd react though, so that'll give our MC time to jump in if they want.
  20. Ok, I took a spin through my char sheet, my posts on the RP threads, and the earlier discussion thread posts establishing characters and adjusted to college age and community college references (ditched out mentions of high school). If anyone sees something I missed, though, give me a heads up
  21. The idea of a group of fantasy knights trading in armor for hoodies and polo shirts while they try to blend into a modern community college is the funniest thing I've seen all day ❤ I love it. ~~ That said, I don't want to make any hasty decisions. I really love what we've been making so far, but we are basically just past the opening scene, so I guess a hard restart is possible. Idk, what does everyone think? Should we edit what we have or consider starting afresh with something that's 'college-age' from the jump? I'm leaning toward 'edit and keep going'.
