    Plus with the way Dreams describes Phebe, somewhere between Nanomachine goo-girl and the T-1000 from Terminator 2 (so possibly vulnerable to extreme heat and bone-chilling cold?). But to be frank I don't like trying to puzzle out weaknesses for other player characters anyway (in games like this anyway), we're not supposed to be one another's enemy, and I sure as heck don't feel like seeing any Batman-esque types here. I'm perfectly happy embracing the flaws of my boy Rayner and running with them. I might have to edit his sheet to mention some of the gear he might walk around with every so often, though, so I don't seem like I'm pulling things out of a hat.

    To be honest, as big as the ship most likely is, I imagine there are plenty of people who share jobs. So if you want to make her an engineer, it would be fine, imo. If you're still looking for other accolades, maybe Research and Development? Could be concepting tech to make lives better aboard the Ark, could be weapons for whatever security force is aboard the ship, could even be things other jobs use in their day-to-day business.

    I mean more from a tech-creating standpoint than something sexy/fun, since I figure that one went without saying. That being said, I've seen plenty of roleplays using simple goo girls, but I don't think I've seen many nanomachine/liquid metal girls in my online experiences, so Phebe should be fun to see in her day to day activities. ^^

    Given we have one engineer (thought we had two for some reason but maybe I was seeing things), I wonder if they're the creative sort... And if so, imma have to nominate Ray to be the test dummy for new toys.

    Based on the little I've seen of your interactions in this topic, queries in suggestion, and species setup, I can unashamedly say it'll be leaps more interesting than anything I'll ever write.

    I wasn't accusing you, I promise. >.< I've just seen people who can somehow write a lot and... Not actually be interested in something. It usually kills my enjoyment to write with people like that, so I admit to being a bit picky and observational for a time. ^^;

    Don't feel so bad, Dreams. ^^ Some people just get lost in the descriptive process, especially when they make something they truly enjoy. :3 'Course, some people can probably fake it, but think when people get the idea to create their own species, they tend to get especially engrossed in the concept and can, more often than not, run wild with it if they don't control themselves. But it's always fun to see when it happens!

    Yup... Well, I suppose either way I'll avoid getting too indepth with the planning. Seeing the potential to go to other surfaces sounds exciting enough for me for now, the pieces will hopefully fall into place when the GM appears. ^^

    Hahah. I mean going as far as excursions onto asteroids/moons/planet surfaces for exploration purposes so I'm not completely cooped up in the ship all game. =PWith possible conflict. I don't mind it particularly, but I do like changes of pace. <.<

    Part of me is still waiting to see what the GM kind of plans to come up with, so I don't wind up planning anything for my car that isn't workable. =p When I think of settings like this, I imagine stuff like Mass Effect and whatnot, so if I don't control myself, my mind tends to wander horribly.

    Please do! I have a notorious history with enjoying the misfortune that befalls my boys at the hands of surprisingly strong ladies. (made worse if rabbit-fu happens while she's still in rabbit form... xD )

    I now request that if Ray ever goes to headpat Isleen, she bites his hand to ward him off from future attempts. (IIf it's within her capability, anyway~) Also @DreamsnThings I got hot T-1000 vibes from Phebe, and I'm just fine with that.

    Man, now I feel like trying to rewatch the series. >.> Old but still a classic for me. I can't deny I have a little bit of disappointment now. I'm just kidding, that would both be a little too much, and maybe a little too on-the-nose. xD Despite that, she's on the ship for a reason and I can't wait to see what her story is. ^^
