  1. Oh, crap, I didn't even notice someone already started posting. After waiting for an answer from the GM all this time, I guess starting on our own is a good idea. Thinking about it, I could start Archer in the lounge, since it's close enough to the medical bag as well (somewhere I planned for him to visit early on so he could get himself vaccinated/immunized prior to setting foot on an unfamiliar world). Assuming people aren't blocked from going wherever they like except places of extreme importance or require special care, I could have Archer pay a friendly visit to Florence prior to said visit so he can ask about the status of some of their other crew. At least the ones she's in charge of caretaking like ARA and Warning. : p Don't know if the other Biobot types fall under her care too or not.
  2. I should doublecheck just to be sure, but should we just choose whatever topic to start posting in on the BlackStar as long as it makes narrative sense for our characters to be there? Assuming we're going with either the GM's BladeRunner's suggestion, we can have those onboard the BlackStar just interacting wherever it's possible before the ship has arrived at Novus/landed correct? Since both give crew opportunities to prepare in their own ways. A day before should be psyching everyone up at least, while in preparation to land could have people equipping and readying themselves to disembark while others make sure the BlackStar systems are in working order. Mostly, just wondering if we should be the ones making a post in a given topic or not. : )
  3. That sounds good to me then. : ) Starting in the BlackStar seems like a good place until the ground locales are properly set up.
  4. Is everything okay here? It's been awfully quiet on this front. :c This didn't fall through the cracks, did it?
  5. That's a good point. Most of the fleshy sentients would need cryosleep if this was a long trip through space I think, while the AI and machine types would be the ones more active I feel. Unless we started getting woken up once our destination was in sight so we could hit the proverbial ground running. The latter option could be the easier way to go about having everyone up and in activity for the moment though, maybe. Since we're just a smaller ship and tasked more with exploring, I don't know if we would have gotten tangled up in any major conflicts, but maybe there were a few close calls along the way through space. : p
  6. I'm in favor of non-sexy fauna too. It's a wide-open universe; Not everything is gonna look pretty enough, or friendly enough, to interact with. : p As far as weapons are going, they're coming along great. It's already a lot more than I would have originally anticipated, to be honest. xD
  7. Damn, I woke up and see Blade wrote some downright scary stuff. But you know what? That seems like the most realistic, if brutal, way to handle making yourselves known in the galaxy when the rest view you like playthings. They learned we play rough. : p It paints an ugly picture but maybe this is why the people on the BlackStar are somewhat removed from those violent conflicts and focusing on a more social aspect... While potentially finding themselves in a new set of problems. :3 Yeah, I feel like at the time I mentioned this, I might have been running very tired, and I know when I'm tired, I can be prone to pushing very bad ideas. >.> This is usually why I try to avoid making suggestions for others.. xD
  8. As expected, all three are darlings. : ) You did great work setting them up... But now, I must die in bed. Good night!
  9. Time will tell to see how opposing forces play out, but they sound like fun! Almost reminds me of kinky Asuras from Guild Wars 2 now, in that they're way too smart for their own good and create creative answers to their problems. We'll see. : p I promise I wasn't thinking about the cuntsnakes! I was thinking more Monstergirl Manticore type tails, where they have suction power and can lay eggs through their tails! Although in retrospect now I realize they're basically like cuntsnakes. >.> Oof, definitely take a well deserved break! : ) I'm about to sleep soon but I'll read before I go. ^^
  10. If that isn't the most terrifying yet ingenious thing I've heard tonight, I don't know what is. It certainly works, but it's also a 'Holy shit, I can't believe they were smart enough to pull that off!' thing. Also, is Archer gonna have to kick one of these bad ones like a football? Because it's sounding like he's gonna have to do just that. : p That's... I honestly have no idea, because I'm usually pretty open about experimenting with weird things, but I'd feel especially bad if I made suggestions that others didn't like, so maybe I shouldn't. ^^; It's ultimately your character and only you can determine how much fun she can be or have with others. But considering fun factor for lewd... I think one of the best places to aim an odd evolution would be her tail. I don't know how, I just feel like sexy factor can be applied to her tail in a myriad of ways that could make playing with partners (single or plural) possible. : )
  11. You need more faith in yourself. : ) ARA sounds like a fun delight, and even if she and Florence (I love her picture!) aren't finished yet, even the glimpses that we have now are looking promising! Keep your chin up, I think you're on track to play some very fun characters!
  12. I love the sound of the concept, for starters. : ) I don't know how tall your character will wind up being, but based on the kind of description you have for the race, their appearance sounds like it could be quite unique if allowed to run wild with it. Canonically, I can see why some people will come to view them as pests or potentially nuisances in the game, but I get the feeling not all of our characters will have the same visceral opinion toward them as others could possibly arrive at. There's a lot of potential to play them up as light-hearted at best or every bit as destructive in the long-run at worst. But despite that, my personal opinion is that Archer isn't going to be able to find fault with them and I believe it's because he can be a sucker for cute things with good personality.
  13. I get that a lot off-forum too, believe me. Personality is one I love to do away with on sheets, because I feel personality should be a dynamic thing, not static. : p So usually I make it just as a metric of how someone is at the time they start playing, and evolve them as the game goes on. I usually have more fun with skills and abilities, although being a plain human seemed to have exempted me from abilities. : P Woot~
  14. I think of this as a delightful sneak peek of what's to come, but nothing says you can't just cross-post that info to the required topic! Also reminds me earlier I wrote down an extra section so I could put Archer's height, and seeing these buns are hovering in the 4' range, he's gonna enjoy picking them up. : D
  15. Ooh, right! Okay, so then I've definitely seen all three then! That would certainly be a fun trip of characters! :3 Aaaaa, I cannot wait! I'd like to know this myself, but I think things are still in relative disarray for the moment. All this back and forth talk has gotten me pretty hyped, and now I have energy I can't burn. xD
  16. Hahah! I gotta admit, I like that name, it sounds cute and endearing. xD Is she connected with the earlier anthro-looking Bio-Bot you posted on the first page with the partial skin overlaying her frame? Honestly, I say go for it if you've got the focus for it! I think I've only seen two of them though, unless I'm just blind and missed the third somewhere in here. >.>
  17. Oh my god, she's precious! And she looks like a smol! I adore cute little shortstacks, but I can already tell she's going to make Archer feel like a dummy once she breaks out the technical lingo, and he starts feeling like he's getting pulled in all directions. :3 Despite that, you've got a golden concept on your hand, and I'd be eager to see just what you'd be capable of weaving from it in execution. : )
  18. Glad I could help point you in the right direction then! ^_^ It sounds like it's going to be fun, especially when they start speaking in languages others around them can't understand (I know Archer especially is gonna lack in the translation department. xD ) Sounds a little more like me too, as I have a head chock full of random characters I've created and concepted over the years, and usually I work to try to adjust them to different settings to see how they interact with new people. : ) No matter your choice, as long as you believe you'll have fun with what you pick, I'll endeavor to have the maximum amount of fun possible with them. : D
  19. I don't think any roles got removed I think? At the least the closest I've seen is this, and it's still in the list: Interpreter and Language Specialists(Open, Multiple Positions Available) Beyond that though, if such a position existed beforehand, then it eluded me. But you sound like you have a wide range of creative concepts bouncing up inside of your mind. Are you someone who's often gripped by choice paralysis as much as me? xD
  20. Well, then you're on the right track for sure! Also low-key, this genetic silliness is really giving me intense Trials in Tainted Space vibes. Archer is definitely gonna need to poke Mace for something to protect against unwanted genetic shifts because he couldn't keep it in his pants he doesn't want to accidentally get himself or something else mutated due to interaction. : p He's a fan of keeping himself as purely unmodified as possible. I'm so glad I'm not the only one seeing the inspiration though. xD
  21. This might be an inevitable outcome at some point in the game's future, although early on, we probably only have to worry about the one in Dreams' character. : p Honestly things haven't even picked up yet and already we've got at least three cute/sexy lady ideas either posted or in the works. Blade's cute Medic Bio-Bot, Dreams' invasive bunny, and then whatever you plan to make. :3 I might try to see about looking into some worldbuilding maybe. Make some monsters/creatures, generate some areas, ect to bring a little exploration to the game's environment (I must confess I would love a cold/snowy biome somewhere)
  22. Is it wrong if I find that idea kind of badass, even at the detriment of everyone else? >.> <.< I KNOW there's something wrong with me but I just have to admit that... xD
  23. Holy cow, just saw the list. A good number of expansions and places for people to find a place for their characters for sure. : ) I think there's a little something for everyone here now. xD
  24. At least it means they're future proof, and short of a controlled genocide, I don't think any of us are gonna be worrying about going on a crusade because if they're friendly enough, we're probably all doomed to co-exist anyway. : p At this rate, they're gonna populate the galaxy...
  25. ... Oh, damn, that's a pretty big problem then. >.> Uhh... Wow, so they just kinda managed to crash their way onto the home world of Novus by sheer dumb luck? So in a way the problems the other people tried to avoid by bringing them with has somehow managed to follow them anyway and started to establish their own little Hamlet of civilization on the same world the BlackStar happened to pick to colonize? If that isn't fun, I don't know what is. :3 (Also, mentioning TiTS, this bunny race kinda reminds me of the Raskvel now. xD ) I do like the sound of an entity like that. A machine/robotic lifeform that acts kind of outside the expected parameters of the other Bio-Bots and whatnot, but is still capable of taking orders from the ones in charge to help them work efficiently. :3 It's a fun idea, and even opens up a little depth for other robotic lifeforms to learn from them and see how it makes them grow. Like we have some that have already discovered a sense of sentience, but now they can learn that there might exist others outside of their circle of influence that were made with it... Hrm... Issue is how... EDIT: And right as I wonder, B.B comes up with a way to make it work.
