Physical Description: A tall woman often seen hitting her head because of it. She has a normal physique apart from a bit of cushion especially around her hips and thighs, but also a small pouch belly which she hides with baggy sweaters most of the time or surpresses with a corset. Said sweaters are often in a dark blue colour because she likes how it fits her eyes, which are framed by square glasses. Further down she likes to wear a skirt varying in length often accompanied by stockings or leggings accentuating her tan/darker skin. She doesnt wear armour on adventures as she protects herself with magic and her skin is slightly thicker/tuffer from her giant lineage.

General Overview: A clumsy and shy woman that despite her imposing stature and ancestory strength really isnt threatening at all and not fond of physical altercations, it does happen that she underestimates her own strength or rarely lets her temperament get the better of her. She is warm and kind but even though she has been running her library for years is still pretty bad at talking to strangers, luckily people find it more endearing than strange, you cant learn socialising from a book (trust me she tried). Has a passion for books and writing as she is facinated by stories and knowledge, but she is only really wise in the specific things she reads about and in other remarks can be dumb at times, but is very aware what she is knowledgable in and in what not, but always willing to learn. She is not really emotionally open or closed off, choosing the time and person to be vulnerable/with.

Awards/Commendations: Completed all 10 years of the Merser-Everden School of Magics with honors in a lot of classes
Criminal Record: Possession of illegal substances, damage of personal property, damage of state property, smuggling of magical artifacts
Bio: Her Mother moved to the great City of Selil after living on the edges of the Therarr Mountain with her giant mother, whom abandoned her after she grew into an adult (28 for this giant species). Which is essentially how Maries life came to be, her mother settling down with a man and running a succesfull magic school with him, building themselves a comfortable life in Craethiel.

Marie grew up learning magic from her father and being close to books in general as the entire family was full of bookworms, which led to her being connected to books from an early age and learning the power of knowledge, especially if that knowledge lets you blast fireballs at people. While she was always supposed to take over the magic school in the end her mother would still live comfortably live decades until she became old in half giant terms. So she continued running the school and helping her daughter realise her dream of a library. It has the nice benefit of getting textbooks for free, but thats not why she did it.

Whilst running the library Marie obviously wanted to see the world and experience Craethiel to its fullest to seek inspiration, experience life and maybe some of that thrill she always read about in books. So for a good part of the year Marie leaves a projection of herself in the library to still assist visitors in everything books and goes out of the city, visiting different places and keeping tabs of her storys, even drawing some doodles of the things she sees, in her novel size notebook.

The death of her father 2 years ago was a big hit for her as he was always a pillar of support for her and it made her realise the cruelty of growing older than other species seeing as her mother would have always outlived her father she wanted to make sure this was not the case for her.

Whilst Marie was never thrilled about having to eventually show her weird circumstances surrounding her genitals to someone to get a partner in the future, she phantasizes a lot about finding the one she can be open with and hopes to find her on her journeys.
