Belladonna was once one of the city's most feared villains but decided to turn a new leaf and join the heroes' efforts.
She specializes in poisons and bombs. Her craftsmanship and alchemy is like no other. For her weapons, she's often seen using poisonous liquid stored in glass coffin spray bottles. She can toss them to create a poisonous gas, or she can spray the liquid similarly to pepper spray. She'll also be seen wearing a plethora of homemade bombs; her favorites are her Dynamite Skulls.
Other than her craftsmanship, Nightshade harnesses a nice assortment of powers. She can fly, use superhuman strength, and use portal manipulation. What this means is that she shoots portals through her palms. They're sharp discs that spin. They must be placed on a solid object to become a portal, if they cannot be placed, they'll simply slice through things until they can. Nightshade often uses them to cut down her enemies.
Belladonna transforms into Nightshade whenever she uses her powers. It's a very subconscious change that she cannot control besides not using her power. Her skin loses color, becoming a pallid gray. Her sclera become black, while her blue eyes keep their color. Her ears become pointed, and she grows canines.

• BACKSTORY •
His is a kind of merfolk species known for its aggressive, voracious nature, their pitch black eyes and the long tails, similar to those of sharks. They are nomads of the sea and travel in large gams during part of the year, then during the warmer months they leave the gam to go be on their own and find a mate. The gam offers food and it offers protection, especially for the young ones. But the moment they grow into adults they must leave and find another gam.
It was no different for Àiguó, whose first waves were the warm ones of the Mediterranean Sea, where he was born. But as he grew up and was kicked from his gam, he began to wander, until the currents lead him to a new gam, which mainly roamed around the four seas of China. His name is only known by the unfortunate men and women who have followed him into the sea, to never return.
• PERSONALITY •
Mercy does not exist underwater, nor do basic human values, which Àiguó is completely unfamiliar with. All he knows is that he needs to survive, which may lead to a selfish, opportunistic behavior.
What he does know is boredom, which has pushed him to developing an impetuous curiosity. Everything he knows about the world above his, he has learnt by observing ships and the men who inhabit them. The language he has learnt to imitate is the language of those men, a simple, unrefined language, characterized by an abundance of profanities.
He is gregarious by nature and believes that a lower voice volume is only needed by prey, when hiding. Therefore he has no need to hide and will not lower his voice.

I guess I should tell you about the big names, yes? This one is called the "Red Duke." He is His Illustrious Highness Duke of Leonford and the Prince of Midford. Damn, he sure loves his titles, they say, since he was raised as a peasant in a faraway land. His future advisors thought this was the best way to hide him after his parents lost their lives in that infamous ambush. But they brought him back just in time and at the right age so the "beloved" king wasn't able to claim the dukedom. This made them bitter enemies... for life. Duke Leonford and King Crismo were related by blood but divided by faith. The king has his church and knights, while the duke has his industry, money and the common folk having his back. I've seen this before down south; the tension quickly escalated into a war.

Max is a modern world boy born in the US. His parents were having trouble making a baby and they wanted a girl... and it shows. Despite being conditioned to wear more feminine rather than masculine clothes and act cheery and bubbly all the time, he considers himself a man.
He loves nature, and his hobbies include bike riding, photography, drawing, walking and napping.
He is quite shy and low profile until he can comfortably open up to you, and then he won't shut up. He takes everything by heart and loves getting complimented, but doesn't stand up for himself when he's teased, bullied, or most often misgendered.

As an NPC implemented into The Twins' verse, not much is known about Scrapbeak barring the peculiar nature surrounding his character.
He has extensive knowledge in the medical field and an obsession with trinkets, landing him in a rather fascinating niche that, on many levels, pair well with the twins given his role as their practitioner.

Nefertum: the progeny of both Sobek and Ammit, and a creature with an amalgamation of several physical attributes that rival both hemispheres of her lineage.
Despite only being a lesser god, she's still quite the magnificence to behold, used to challenge opponents much like herself.
Her closest bond is shared between herself and Jezebel , a special union that formed when Nefertum was presented as a bridal gift from the Pharaoh during matrimony.

Mary Muffin is a 4'3" shortstack bottom-heavy dark skinned lalafell with long flowing white hair and bratty tendencies! She's often more condescending than she really is, acting high and mighty when compared to someone else. However, this is due to pent-up sexual frustration that often needs releasing with the help of many! She'll often get your attention by wearing suggestive clothing, making suggestive comments, or any subtle way to get your mind onto breeding her... However, for the less "sharper" individuals she'll be more direct while still wearing a stoic and cold expression! 💢

Laura "Mez'Barris" Blackfyre
Short Story:
Laura Blackfyre, was born in the depth of the shadow lands not far from Reithwin Town, under the cover of a dense forest where the throngs of vegetation prevented even the most enduring adventurers from exploring the dark cervices. Within the shadow lands there is no sun but only the twilight moon, the light of which could barely reach the decaying grass, not enough to warm the ruins of forts and castles that remained behind the cataclysm left by the conflict the gods unleashed on the world.
From birth she was infused with the magic of the land, unnatural and volatile, resulting in malformations her parents found disgusting and impossible to love, leaving her in the care of the accursed shadows that roamed the profaned town. Eventually falling in the hands of a Lolth sworn drow party exploring the uncharted territory.
Taken as a child in the deepest parts of the underdark she was taken as a young slave under a forgiving scholar that named her "Mez'Barris", a drow name in origin, as the master began to see her as more than a simple tool for their day to day duties.
With time under the guiding hand of her drow's owner she harnessed the magic within her and become an aspiring witch, knowledge in the esoteric and the arts of the unseen for her magical affinity was beyond what most would have seen. Despite such she could do nothing but extend the life of her master, outliving all those she met, resulting in a self exile within the enchanted forests near human settlements where to this day she inhabits.
Visual Description:
Laura stands roughly at 5'5, her skin is a soft tone of magenta in direct contrast with her emerald green eyes. Her hair is purple and relatively long, her bangs going down over her shoulder complimenting her oval face shape. A pair of furry ears can be seen going through the holes in her hat, similar to the ones of a feline. Her hat and robe are red with golden markings, humble yet in design.
Her body is rather curvaceous with a plump ass and round breasts, her lips are soft both in sight and touch as she is perpetually youthful both in mind and body as she is unburned by aging, but as well cursed to never be too wise due to her perpetual youth.
