Physical Description: Natia is a very petite girl who usually only comes up to around the chest of most humans. Even among Aequu, she is below average in height and weight. Her body is still developing, however and she is expected to gain at least a few more inches and pounds over the course of a few decades. Her pale skin is soft and smooth to the touch, almost like silk. Her face is usually relatively emotionless, however, the corners of her mouth will curl slightly into a smile or a frown depending on how she's feeling. Otherwise, the best tell of her specific emotions is the shine in her eyes as well as her behavior. In terms of clothing, she usually prefers simplistic, monotone outfits, usually dresses with colors leaning toward natural and pastel. She also frequently wears accessories created from nature, such as necklaces or hairbands made from flowers.

Personality, Traits and Abilities

General Overview: Natia is a very generous soul, often considering the feelings of those around her as a much higher priority than those of her own, even when 'others' refers to creatures of lower intelligence. As a result, she prefers to eat only fruit and vegetables and the idea of consuming meat is repulsive to her, but in case of an emergency, she might be willing to eat. This is a common trait among the Aequu who value the lives of creatures and can manipulate the elements to ensure the growth of fruits and herbs they require for sustenance.

She is a particularly quiet girl and frequently shies away from strangers due to the fact that her race is regularly sought after by many with ill or selfish intent. In a desperate enough situation, however, she will seek help from strangers. She is bothered by the way many other species become territorial and violent toward each other and often refuses to partake in such violence unless she is forced to defend herself. She is easily scared by the presence of strangers, especially when in vulnerable positions.

Strengths, Skills and Abilities:

  • Manipulation of Natural Elements – Due to being created from a perfect balance of the elements, the Aequu are more spiritually tied to the natural elements of earth, fire, water, air, and aether. These five elements exist in all living animals and can be found in their pure forms on earth in the form of rocks, heat, pure water, wind, and light respectively. Everything in the universe are made up of various combinations of these five elments (for example, soil is a mixture of earth and water, while a heat wave is a mixture of fire and wind.) Depending on the level of training an Aequu has, they will be capable of manipulating these elements to different extents. Some may be able to break down any matter into its original pure forms, transition one element into another, or even take complete control of another being by manipulating the elements within them. Natia herself is particularly young among the Aequu, so her training hadn't come far before it was cut short. She is only capable of controlling pure elements, although with practice, she may be able to pull these elements from unexpected places as well.

  • Long life – While not much of an ability per se, the Aequu are known to live for hundreds of years. The oldest in known history was 736. On average, they tend to live around 510 years.

  • Healing – The ability to manipulate the elements within one's body also means the Aequu are capable of healing others more effectively and faster than most surgeons and professionals. Due to Natia's inexperience, she is only capable of healing minor wounds by extracting foreign elements (such as fire from a burn, or water from a drowning victim) and inserting lost elements (such as water into a bleeding wound, or fire to warm one with suffering from severe cold).

  • Forbidden elements – While the Aequu are capable of manipulating the natural elements, there are also a set of four elements that are strictly forbidden by the goddess Cera. These elements are what ties the fabric of reality together and mortals being permitted to mess with such elements would be a crucial mistake. These forbidden elements include Aeon (Time), Cosmos (Space), Ego (Mind), and Pneuma (Soul). Manipulation of these elements is so advanced that no living Aequu has accomplished it, and if one even dared to try, it is quite likely that Cera would revoke their gift herself. However, by taking possession of an Aequu, the goddess Cera can bend these elements to assist an individual in need, though this is an extremely rare occurrence and is only used to stop divine threats against Cera herself.

Weaknesses:

  • Neutralization – With the exception of Aether, each of the natural elements have an opposite (earth and fire are opposed by air and water respectively.) While opposite elements can merge to form things such as sand and steam, they can also be used to neutralize each other. When neutralized, the elements will immediately disperse uselessly into the surrounding atmosphere.

  • Inhibitors – Due to the rarity of Aequu, they are quite high in demand among slavers. As a result, some have developed special inhibitors that take on various forms from handcuffs to collars and sometimes even permanent piercings or curse marks. These inhibitor enchantments take advantage of the tendancy of opposite elements to neutralize each other. Any time an Aequu tries to manipulate an element nearby, it will produce the exact amount of the opposite element to neutralize it. These inhibitors often come with other enchantments that prevent the wearer from removing them on their own and usually require an expert in advanced magic to remove.

  • Physique – Due to her reliance on her magic, Natia has a very weak physical build. If she has no way of using her magic, just a single person would be enough to overpower her.

Ambitions (Hopes/Dreams): Natia hopes that one day her people would be able to trust the other peoples of the world and live openly amongst them rather than hiding in distant places far from civilization to avoid being hunted down and exploited. She also hopes to one day meet another tribe of Aequu, fall in love, and have a child of her own.

Hobbies and Interests: Natia loves to decorate her surroundings with plants, usually those that she had grown herself with magic. She has a fascination for beautiful plants such as flowers and fruit. She also loves to relax in quiet places.

Personal Sexual Information

Sexual Orientation: Pansexual. Although due to her isolated history, she doesn't quite understand the concept of sexuality to begin with.
Turn ons: Gentle and caring natures. She loves to be treated like a delicate flower.
Turn offs: Manipulative and predatorial behavior. She gets scared when people are even remotely harsh or demanding with her.
Breast Size: A cup
Sensitivity: Extremely sensitive.
Additional Sexual Information: She is a virgin and is greatly relieved to have escaped from her slavers before that was stolen from her. As a result, she would be extremely reluctant to willingly give her virginity away.
STD History: None, likewise, she could likely cure an STD in the event that she would get infected, another trait that makes Aequu high-demand sex slaves.

History

Awards/Commendations: None
Criminal Record: None
Bio: Aequu civilization is one of a nomadic nature. They do not take root in one place as a measure to avoid negative consequences of their habits of growing fresh plant life around their campsites. Staying in one place for too long could damage the natural balance of the local ecosystem and indirectly cause issues with population density of plant and wildlife. The Aequu travel in small tribes. Due to their long lifespans, they are not in dire need of reproducing, so many remain virgins throughout their entire lives. Aequu tribes are usually only home to a few bloodlines that become intertwined over generations. Incestual reproduction is usually forbidden unless a tribe is in dire need of reproduction (an extremely rare case that usually only occurs if the tribe is left with minimal numbers after an unexpected assault). Otherwise, reproduction among Aequu usually only occurs when two tribes coincidentally discover each other. Due to this, the population of the Aequu is extremely small. In most nations, there are fewer than 100 members of the race in total. Consequently, they are often high in demand among slavers and hunters for their rarity.

Those seeking to hunt the Aequu often track their movement patterns by connecting the dots between areas of thriving plant-life that mark where the Aequu have taken camp. Individual hunting groups have various tactics once they've found the tribe in question, but attacking head-on is usually not a possibility as the elders are particularly advanced with their magical prowess after centuries of experience.

Growing up, Natia regularly trained her magic abilities with the rest of her tribe under her father, the tribe's chieftain. She often took her father's teachings about self defense for granted and mostly paid attention more to the fields that interested her, such as growing the fruit needed for survival as well as growing intricate and beautiful flowers. She also enjoyed learning about the various ways she could heal those in need and often found herself rescuing and nursing injured wildlife. She often found it difficult to accept the natural relationship between predator and prey, so what little offensive magic she grew to understand, she would often use to protect smaller animals from dangerous predators, although her father would often scold her for interfering too much with the natural order. One day, she stumbled across an orphaned rabbit that seemed to be malnourished. After she took it in and nursed the lagomorph to health, her father explained to her that the local plantlife had begun to dwindle due to the low population of predators in the area. As a result, the innocent creatures were beginning to starve. This was the moment of realization where Natia began to understand the importance of the circle of life. Without predators to kill the smaller creatures, the vegetation begins to suffer and, by extension, all life in the area. Still, despite her culture's stance against interfering with nature and other cultures, she finds it difficult to stand by and allow an innocent victim to be hurt.

One of her childhood dreams was to meet another tribe of Aequu, fall in love with a kind boy, and have a child of her own. Because of this, she was often restless during the nights. She liked to wander off from the campground in search of any sign of another tribe nearby. Her father never approved of this behavior, but it was simply a task she had given herself. Just one time, she would have loved to meet a stranger of her kind. One of the ways the Aequu could usually identify another tribe was by their unique style of plant-life that surrounded their campsites. Unfortunately, this had become knowledge to far more than just Aequu as generations went by. One night, she had been wandering just outside the border of her campground when she stumbled across a beautiful arrangement of yellow flowers that didn't seem to be natural. She had been warned by her father that there were people outside of Aequu with ill intent that would stop at nothing to fool her into a sense of security, but she had always assumed a fake style set up as a trap would be obvious to spot. However, in the moment, she had allowed her excitement toward the possibility of meeting another tribe cloud her judgment. She approached the flowers and carefully peered through the darkness. As she stepped closer and closer, she soon felt a cold metal collar clamp tightly around her throat from behind. Immediately, she began to feel weak and turned to see the face of a complete stranger. She immediately tried to fight back against the man by pulling water from a nearby stream, but found that her magic abilities had been cut off by the collar. Before long, she was effortlessly wrestled to the ground and passed out soon after.

When she awoke, she was in the back of a caravan. Her arms were shackled to the wall, she was cleave-gagged with a rag stuffed tightly into her mouth, and she was completely naked. She still wore the collar which bore a gemstone that alternated colors as it moderated the elements within her body. Any time she tried to use her magic, the collar immediately diminished her efforts. She was surrounded by a few bandits who were each armed to the teeth with various weapons. The terrified girl desperately tried to plead with her captors, but not one of them seemed interested in listening to her. Instead, they just continued to chat about how much they were going to make off of selling her as a slave in 'the capital.'

As the hours went on, Natia found herself growing increasingly exhausted. She had been trembling and sobbing in fear the entire trip only to the apparent amusement of her captors. In a stroke of luck, however, she heard a thunderous, animalistic growl followed by a loud commotion just outside the caravan. The bandits inside the caravan quickly left and, before long, she heard screaming outside followed by a powerful crash as a massive claw bashed through the wall of the caravan, smashing it into fragments and coincidentally freeing her from her restraints. Her wrists were still cuffed to a plank of wood, but it had been broken away from the rest of the wall. Without hesitation, she took advantage of the confusion and quickly sprinted out of the caravan, turning to see what had just happened, she noticed several bandits being tossed around by a massive black figure. She couldn't quite identify the monster, but it certainly wasn't any typical animal she had seen before and was far too large to be a bear. Judging by its size and aggressiveness, it was clear she wouldn't be safe staying close, so she quickly turned tail and fled down the Ildran River in Rosayia Forest. Despite escaping from her captors, she was still quite vulnerable. Her wrists were still cuffed and she was still wearing the inhibitor collar that restrained her magic powers. It would seem that she was going to have to seek out help. She could only hope she would get the assistance she needed, although she could just as easily run into even more trouble along the way...
