Physical Description: Arden is relatively tall and slender for his age and time period. He has relatively decent muscle definition which comes from his days of training to be a Knight. He is rather slender as his focus was more on training himself in technique over pure strength. His muscle mass is not very high. His skin is relatively pail to compliment his sheltered upbringing. 

Arden has let his hair flow freely ever since he was forced from home, this gives him a more effeminate appearance which could be used to make enemies underestimate his fighting capability. He still dresses in good quality clothing and almost always carries an encyclopedia and journal around in his hands for a quick access. He has a rapier and shortsword holstered by his side. 

Personality, Traits and Abilities

General Overview: Arden is pretty timid despite his father's efforts to make him a man's man. He acts quite sheepish outside of battle or talking about a topic he loves, which makes him waffle on for a long time on said topic. He is a fan of cute things and loves to decorate his weapons and clothing, he wears jewellery and is skilled at making tulip crowns and daisy chains. He loves flowers and pets too. Arden is submissive so will rarely take charge in a situation, he also tends to shy away from confrontation. 

Arden is well spoken and is extremely well-mannered to boot. Despite his lack of charisma, he can handle social situations because he can butter up any person with great skill. He has a good grasp of politics due to his education but chooses to avoid any interference with it.

-Physical strength: Arden is quite delicately built so does not boast any kind of extreme physical capability, but he can handle his own with his average strength. 

-Swordsmanship: Arden is very skilled with any kind of blade due to his lessons growing up, he had a bigger emphasis on it due to his slightly lacking brute strength. His technique is almost unmatched. 

-Archery: Arden boasts above average skill with a bow but is not anything too crazy, his father was adamant about real men facing foes head on. So his archery lessons were basically focused on hunting animals. 

-Hand to hand combat: Arden is skilled in many forms of hand to hand combat, most of which use the weight of his opposition against them as his own strength is not usually enough when fighting bigger opponents. 

-Hunting/tracking: Arden was taught to hunt from the age of 6, he isn't a big fan of taking an animals life but understands the importance of meat in the diet. He tries to respect them and give them a painless death. 

-Science: Ardens biggest asset is his mind, he spends as much time as possible learning new things and therefore developed a great intellect.

Bio: Arden was born into the prestigious Vernais family. His father Anthione was adamant on wanting a strong male heir. Arden was made to act like a man's man for his whole childhood, training to be a great warrior who would bring the family even higher status. 

It became painfully clear that Arden was not a normal boy, he like more feminine things and tried on many occasions to skip out on sword lessons. His submissiveness became a topic spoken about by many of his father's servants. It made Anthione incredibly outraged at his child. His mother had no issue with Arden, in fact she liked his personality bit she couldn't go against her husband no matter how hard she tried. Once Arden turned 18, his brother was born. Anthione jumped at the chance to throw out his failed heir to work on his other son. 

Arden has been determined to succeed and surpass his father regardless of his situation. He wants to prove to people that anyone can be successful, manly or not.
