In the original timeline, Ranna just let her hair hang loosely down her shoulders. She is younger in this timeline though and if everything proceeds naturally, Kappei and/or Reiko and the club will convince Ranna to start wearing her hair in a set of twintails. Ranna resembles Utena a bit, but she has her own distinct cuteness? She seems to be very catty and prickly, but she is probably also more innocent than Utena in her own way.
