General Overview: Ashera could best be described as ‘damaged goods’. There’s a good person in there, but it takes some digging to get to her softer side thanks to a lifetime of hardship and a natural distrust of those outside her inner circle. She is generally very blunt about what she wants and what she expects of others, tending to get frustrated when things don’t go her way. Despite that, she is capable of learning from her mistakes, and will begrudgingly admit her faults once she’d had some time to simmer down. She tends to be a little emotionally closed-off, but she will open up if she’s drunk enough or if she trusts you. She seems happiest when she’s singing or practicing magic,

Bio: Born to Lord Gaelin Norharice and Lady Sana Facan, Ashera was born into the wealth and privilege expected of nobility, and she carried no shame over it. She had no problem bragging about her family's status and position in society as the regional lords, but unfortunately, such an attitude coupled with the less than stellar ruling practices of her parents, discontent quickly grew amongst the people, and with it, came rebellion, which eventually spilled out into open conflict.

One day, the common folk stormed her family's home, slaughtering guards and destroying property. Ashera and her family tried to flee, but the rebels had the family cornered. In a moment of desperation, Lady Sana pushed her daughter off a bridge and into the river below, washing the young noble away before the rebels could get their hands on her. With the rebels presuming Ashera died in the river, they publicly executed the Lord and Lady, leaving Ashera without a home or family to fall back on. She was completely alone in the world.

With nowhere to go, she wandered the countryside for ages, using the alias of Dendra to avoid being caught by rebels, sleeping in barns and stealing food whenever she could. This naturally got her into some trouble more than once, but the most she did it, the better she got, until she could move like a shadow. When she wasn’t stealing, she was taking on whatever jobs she could, ranging from babysitting to manual labor to prostitution when times were especially hard.

Once she had saved up enough money, she hopped on the first transport out of the kingdom, hoping to start a new life for herself where her name did not mark her for death. For the time being, she finds herself in the Kingdom of Craethiel, making her way as an adventurer, living in a small house that she rents on the edge of the city.
