Soma was in his office looking through some recent data in his computer. The lens from his stylish glasses reflecting the light from the screen. It was a good thing that those lens granted extra protection against light, since Soma had to use his computer pretty much all day long. He kept scrolling through the information on the screen, taking mental notes - and a few physical ones on his notebook - about the most important parts. Increases/decreases on sales, new ideas from employees, the company's public image, progress on current research and developments... it sure was a lot to take in, even though he had been Futurae Tech's CEO for two s2 points

Location: Town of Kalath. "Oooh. Adventurer's Guild? I've heard of them before! Actually my parents have worked with them in the past. They're pretty neat!" With a nod she lifted her bowl, finally slurping down the last remnants of her dinner! A content sigh left her lips as she pushed the bowl away. "That was delicious! May I please have some milk?" she requested, slapping down another coin! Milk would wash it all down nicely. Also it'd be more filling! And of course there were the rumors about its potential for assisting not only with growth, but with development in certain areas she currently lacked! "Actually we met not too2 points

Location: Town of Kalath At the girls acceptance of the threat, Rayvenne turned her eyes back to the remains of her bread, eating the remains as the stranger finally introduced herself as Alice Harper. Her eyebrows furrowed a little at the mention of the Adventurer’s Guild. She had heard of it in passing herself, but to her it seemed to be nothing more than a guild of hopeless romantics who thirsted for travelling around. And like many other places, they were unlikely to accepted a freak like herself. At least not truly accepted her. Merely used her, like everyone else tended to do. She was useful. Nothing more. She rubbed her thumb alon2 points

===================================== Kalath Alice would eat the last piece of soaked bread, before drinking up the remains of the soup, a satisfying sigh escaping her lips. It sure did hit the spot, “That was so good, I’ll definitely drop by again sometime in the future for another taste.” A nod to confirm her intentions towards what she could assume to be the owner of this fine establishment, “Well, of course, these things are cataloged, but I don’t really read those things.” Sh1 point

After I had layed down on my bedroll and got myself confortable, it didn't take me very long for me to fall asleep. My mind calmly drifted away from the physical world, reaching hights that would make even the astonishing mountains near us envious. My dreams were the only thing that could at times bring me the wonderful sensation of absolute inner peace. Which was something I always tried to enjoy the as much as I possibly could, even though I knew it wasn't real and that I would eventually wake up and most likely forget about everything that I had seen during my dream. Still, trying to control them or predict what was going to happen once it1 point

Sounds cool to me! Though I imagine Ren is going to end up throwing Rin into some comedic (and some not so comedic) things in the future. Would be fun if she ended up meeting the Djinn again too!1 point

Piercing red eyes remained locked upon the now smaller Djinn, never blinking and never wavering. Steam was spewed forth in a grand display, but Ren could already tell that he was at his end. It wasn't power that won her the day. No, like most fights she won by being clever and clear-headed. In an actual fight the Djinn was more than a match, even for her, for as long as she remained in this prison. But now she knew his weakness. Better still, she traveled with it. "I know you are watching. I shall allow you to watch. I hope you watch. But beware of what you wish for. You might not enjoy what you see." When the Djinn had departed Ren1 point

Hot steamed whistled from the Jinn's flaring nostrils, spiraling around their feat and grasping at their bellies. Mimun had been cornered. Just like that. Had. Mimun was forced to watch every second of her peicing it together too, helpless to stop the turning cogs of Ren's mind. All he could do was wince at her observations and threats. Mimun's rage had consumed any shred of rationale he held before but the threat against Rin brought some sense to his madness. If only he wasn't trapped in that damn lamp! Despite being outmatched and outwitted, his pride & rage knew no bounds when charged with threats. Mimun glared up at the gargantua1 point

Mimun was certainly a powerful creature. She didn't need reminding of that fact. But she thought he'd underestimated her power for too long now. Sure, he could see her now. He could always see her. But now she knew who he was. She knew what he was. She knew how powerful he was. She knew why he was here and what he was planning. And, best of all, she knew how to get to him. A sinister grin stretched across her face, even while their location seemingly shifted. But it did not frighten her. She did not budge, nor did she flinch. All nine tails whipped around excitedly behind her. Bright blue flames erupted from each of her fingertips while1 point

"Fuck you!" Mimun shouted as he spun on a heel to face the witch. He then spat a ball of molten lava to the floor in front of Ren and quickly ate away at it, falling deep into the damp earth with audible hisses and pops. "You jumpy, ignorant roach! You don't know the first thing about that seal!" Mimun shot back at Ren with the same accusatioal finger that started all of this. "You'll both die trying to break that thing before you're ever free of it! You don't need my power, I need your power. You, on the other hand, are in dire need of my knowledge!" Had Mimum not been so angry he might have reconsidered Ren in that moment. Alas. . .1 point

The Djinn was admittedly quite quick. Even Ren was caught off guard when he appeared in front of her. Eyes winced, a snarl held across her lips as she was lifted from the floor. Clawed hands moved up, gripping against the aggressive creature's hold. He dare attack her?! After everything she'd done for him?!? And then he started to insult her to boot! Fingers were already shifting around while the Djinn continued speaking. Even as he choked the breath from her throat Ren was working on a spell. The fire had little effect on the sorceress, however the powerful grip was not something to underestimate. At least for now anyways. Suddenly1 point

It hadn't crossed Mimun's flippant mind the sort of mood this Ren put him into. But immediately at the sight of her, Mimun's face contorted into a fierce snarl. Fire consumed and leapt from his eyes as his hair roared to life, spiraling around him like the frame of a vengeful portrait. In a flash he had shot from one end of the room to the other, crouched and looming over Ren. When he spoke embers spat from his mouth and fell to the floor but their separation from him did not make them any weaker. They danced and screamed all the same as the fire from Mimun's crown. "You-! You fucking wench! How dare you!" Mimun struck his hand against R1 point

Poor little Rin. She was not at all expecting the slap to the face. Mimun had been so nice to her, and she so nice to him! As a result it was entirely unexpected. She didn't even have time to be surprised before her little body was flung across the room, slamming into the wall. It slumped to the ground, completely limp. For about a minute. With a poof of thick white smoke Ren emerged, sitting up onto her knees. Hands moved to smooth out her elaborate robes while tails curled around her body, settling within her lap. "What an interesting turn that took. I was expecting a show."1 point

====================================================== [ Location: Kalath ] All eyes were on Rayvenne for the ultimate decision, would she allow Alice to accompany them? After all, it was sudden and the two seemed to have problems with maybe previous encounters with other human beings of the greedy nature. Not like she wasn’t greedy herself, it was human nature unfortunately to want more than what you should have, but she wasn’t overbearingly tainted like that, neither were the two before her it1 point

Zack didn’t respond to her sobbed pleas, but a smirk tugged on the corner of his lips. She sounded truly terrified of what he might to. He had no intentions of hurting her, at least on purpose. But he found that he rather enjoyed the fact that she was terrified of just what he could do to her. He wondered if she had scenarios running through her mind, imagining the kinds of things he would do her. Things her fear would amplify into the impossible. It was almost as satisfying as the humiliation that rolled off of her in waves. He just chuckled softly, the sound filling the room as he looked back down at her pussy, his hand groping her arse che1 point

Donovan looked wildly around himself as the world around him disappeared only to be replaced by something he instantly recognised as Patriots Park. He had been there many times, sometimes on dates with Charlotte or with Lily. However it was quiet. Eerily so. It made him feel quite uncomfortable, as he was used to it bustling with activity and noise of patrons who visited the park. Despite his lonely nature, and the fact that he would love to walk through an empty park, this screamed wrong. On so many levels. He couldn’t shake it off. It made his skin crawl. His arm computer then started beeping at him and he raised his arm to look at it. His1 point

*As the world around Donovan disappeared, a new one formed around him. No longer was he in his office at work but it looked like he was somewhere near the centre of Patrioit's Park, where the Amplitheatre was and where the statues of the heroes that died during the Outsider War were. It looked like an excellent reconstruction of Patriot's Park by the look of it, apart from the fact there was no people here. Everything like all the seats, water fountains, rubbish bins, paths, lights and utilties were all where they were in the 'reali world'. Whoever made this had done a really good job in modelling it. This was very odd, as Patriot's Park was1 point

Donovan arrived at work earlier than he had anticipated. Traffic had been almost non-existent on the road that morning. It was both a blessing and a curse. A blessing, because it meant that he wouldn’t be late to work, and a curse because it was likely that he was earlier than most of his colleagues which meant sitting around waiting for them to show up. Laura was the type to either show up on time, or late. She was never early. When he got out of his car, he closed and locked the door before looking around to see that the car park was relatively empty. The Superintendent was in, as well as a few that worked with him, but otherwise it was emp1 point
