That's a good point. Most of the fleshy sentients would need cryosleep if this was a long trip through space I think, while the AI and machine types would be the ones more active I feel. Unless we started getting woken up once our destination was in sight so we could hit the proverbial ground running. The latter option could be the easier way to go about having everyone up and in activity for the moment though, maybe. Since we're just a smaller ship and tasked more with exploring, I don't know if we would have gotten tangled up in any major conflicts, but maybe there were a few close calls along the way through space. : p
