*Bows* Sorry it got so confusing for you @Warning. I had talked to Exzel's creator and we had a plan and then it just unfolded. The reason Exzel hasn't targeted Elie yet is because she's not alone and is giving her space because of the recent event.

Alexandrine watched, listened. This sort of thing could happen. There was some variation in how the girls found their power. Some needed help of an established veteran, like Rin had. Others discovered it on their own. In some teams there was another power, spirit or other that gave the members their power. Sorry to voice my opinion here but I agree that seeing where the true story goes on first would be better. At least for the sake of character development. I did some sort of what if stuff myself (Well, it was not exactly what if but more like crossovers with stories from certain games) and it really was best done when we're comfortable with our characters. It's NOT a bad idea but I think it's best if it's not rushed. When we know our characters well, we know better how they'd react in some alternate universe.

I'll probably wait on any alternate stuff for now since I'd rather see where the true story goes first.

I had mentioned the idea before. The possibility of doing ‘what if’s’ of a sort, to see how things might have played out differently. If people liked the idea, while keeping the main story going. In Emi’s case I had mentioned examples of her joining her father, or if she had agreed to the previous offer to marry Hikaru. I thought I had remembered seeing a reply from you saying you liked the possibility. But now I’m not seeing it, other than a reaction to the post I first mentioned it. Up to you then, if we do that.

Mitsuko looked at Elie, considering her words, then smiled and nodded. She was right and the Diamond Princess didn't seem too bothered by her either. "Alright, thank you. I will stay, then." Nice. But then I have no idea where Zorn/Hellhound are, during the convention. Probably elsewhere as these two seem easier to explain. At least Mitsuko doesn't have to be around for the wanderer part as it's too early in her time. The Elie paradox is the only thing that made me curious. Also because Exzel basically ignored Elie during the convention. Or she might have slipped a word about her somewhere. (Hence how I learned about it). At the same time, she was hiding but still. So between convention and Wanderer, Elie somehow got saved. Now, that would be hilarious if Hellhound just went to the convention and went "Hi" in her goofy manne

Yeah this got a little confusing with how things happened. Timeline: Rebuilding from scratch (pre-time skip) Wanderers/Reigniting (during time skip) Rebuilding (after time skip) Convention. The initial stories were set up without considering timing compared to each other, and Rebuilding moving faster than others. It worked out this way so Elie could be saved in Wanders and then come to convention afterwards. After we are past the convention, confusion like this is unlikely to repeat.

The funny thing with this convention is how time feels twisted. At first, I thought the wanderer happened after the convention. (Everyone feeling happy -> Fight breaks out) or at least that's what I was told with Hellhound's position. Now, the thing is, I saw somewhere how Elie is already "sealed" (From Exzel's encounter). Sooo... How does that work?

We'll see if Mystery Character ends up being that. Emi, Rin and Elie at least (maybe Alexandrine) have a chance of meeting Zorn fairly soon after the convention, with Elie's new character. But of course there is still plenty of fun to have with the convention first.

I'm fine with people making or playing as anyone from Emi's mother's team. That said breaking Emi isn't impossible. Depends on how one might go about it.

Back to the question of Mystery Character. I’m still probably going to take some time to decide exactly who she is. But I suppose the better question is if there are any options on the poll anyone is strongly against? At this point the broken by Exzelcryth option is probably ruled out. Most of the others are still at least an option. The only two others that have much chance of getting ruled out are a member of Alexandrine’s old team (if someone decides to do that). Or a member of Emi’s mom’s team, if Chiyako doesn’t like that. Though that is perhaps the one thing that might might increase the chance of Emi joining her father, othe

Elie knowing she might have overstepped a boundary went quite as she listened to Mitsuko and Alexandrine talk. She had alot to think about and maybe Alexandrine was right and she was just being childish. She hadn't been a magical girl for long. However, I think it's safe to not trust them. If you cards speak to you as well as they spoke about me, maybe you could find an answer.", she tried to comfort her somehow but then looked at Alexandrine again. Mystery Character’s intro is up. Potentially an intro for a few characters. But remains to see if it gets any more before settling on exactly who she is.

Alternate story?

Might get busy writing in a bit. May give Jumi a convention post. Something for Takamo or 'Fujiko' to do, if they don't meet each other. Also may write up an intro for 'mystery character' (that for now will remain vague about exactly what she is). Might write a start for the Emi/Zorn alternate story as well.

Time to rest. She didn't mind that idea. A break would help her to regather her courage. Also she could finally get herself some food and something to drink! I would have participated but let's just say that I have some troubles right now. A christmas event sounds nice but again, I'd need to be in the right mental space to write something and this part is not easy. BUT positively speaking, you all should still do it. Just for fun. Regardless.

I know I am not very focused on this event but I wouldn't be. As someone told you before, you have to think about your own well-being and time and if you feel like you can't write with someone then I feel like it's okay. This event challenges us to write something different first and foremost. The reward is a bonus and writing with someone requires time from both partners. So I think everything's fine if you don't want to.

Yeah, we both missed it. But in my case, I had 6 days of hell with my health so it couldn't be helped. Still not recovered from it... And this is what's most spooky about this. I wanted to try it and I thought I'd have the time. Apparently not. Welp. There is always next time!

Last time I went try hard mode, I felt like I dragged the story around a bit. I'm glad someone liked it, though. I will see what I can do. I still want to put efforts but not a godly amount of efforts this time. I almost lost my mind the last time I did this. 1800 words is way too many.

Challenge 21 seems to be done and over with, it's a shame it didn't get more votes. (Not for the sake of gaining more myself, obviously.) I feel like some choices deserved more. But still. Congrats to @WritesNaughtyStories for winning challenge 21. I might try to participate to challenge 22 as well. But I won't go tryhard this time. It will be a nice change. XD

I'm sorry to those who have to read my story. I aimed so much for the 2000 words cap (1800) and realize my writing post is even double the size of other entries and I dunno if I went way too far or not. It's probably not even that good. x.x (Well, I'm not here to win anyway.) Also, no pity votes either. Be brutally honest, it's the only way to learn to improve myself. XD But welp. I mean, it's nice to write for ourselves but I am still a little worried that I may look bad. I know I went full tryhard mode and maybe if I do a bad job, it might actually make people want to roleplay LESS. Who knows. I am glad I tried it, I will try to not worry too much about possible repercussions. (I am not confident about solo stories and fanfictions, etc. I never really tried writing them before) But that said, I couldn't leave this challenge unattempted since it seemed to fit well with what I like to do in roleplay.

I don't feel like I did this perfectly but I tried to see what kind of expressions or emotions I could pull out of this. Making my character feel things I usually don't make them feel in usual roleplay. It's kinda fun how we can bring in the cause and consequence things in details when we have LOT of words to work with. If anything, it was a test to see how expressive I could go, how much details I could put. It's probably a mess but at the same time, it was fun. I am mostly worried about the vibe it might give but imo, I don't think it's very representative of my roleplay skills. This challenge really forced me out of my comfort zone since i

Well, I might have blown that out of 7th hell proportions because I forced myself to try and reach the 2000 word limit. And it took me 4 hours to reach 1800... I didn't know what I was doing, I just tried to detail things as much as possible, including expressions, emotions, everything I could think of. I went hella crazy with this but if not for anyone else, it was mostly for myself. I wanted to see how far I could go. XD

Tailsia, an adult fox girl with two tails, woke up this morning after quite the difficult evening when she tried to repair a part that had broken up the day before. This is a story in solo, though. Not a roleplay. Also, I've roleplayed for 2 decades now so it becomes a natural process. Never really did any DnD and not not really interested either personally. I like to write as it comes and probably will again. The story might not necessarily be a good read even if I will try my best but in my head, it will be nice anyway. I rarely do solo narrative but it's fun to try it anyway. Just for the sake of worldbuilding. I'll probably use that at my own advantage just for the sake of participation to get a start going with a character of mine. :3

A question about the challenge 21 but isn't it like just roleplay solo? Since it's about roleplaying our favorite character? I see it like a world building experience for our character. Developing a world for them and maybe people around. I dunno if I would be good at that in a sudden manner (as I do it with a partner usually) but it still sounds like an interesting experience that I'd try to participate into. Surely I can find something to write about this with one of my album characters. If I am right about what this challenge is about, anyway. I would try it.

Same mood as when I'm never told when someone comments on one of my character albums so I don't notice them.

When real life calls but still, 100% potential still means being able to write more sfw-ish stories as well. The lewd is only a bonus and also, it means we can freely write more details in certain situations. On a safer website, you'd just have your character explain that they'd go have a shower or whatever. In ED, you can detail what they do in the shower and not mince your words on nudity terms or anything. At least it's the way I see it. We unlocked lewd side of everyday situations, it doesn't have to be sexual either.

A multi layered story. The problem with innovative idea is that we must get the few people left alive around interested into it. I like it. Imo, the lack of people = lack of motivation. And we know where it leads at the end. At the same time, I am NOT saying to give up but we will have to brace for the potential lack of interest we face from making up new ideas. It's the reality we have to face now more than ever before. As for ED being dedicated to erp, it's not entirely true. ERP is just really allowed at its fullest. Which means we can write at 100% potential.
