I think I have had an epiphany about where this went wrong. I asked too many questions. I need a plan for how to make the game part of this work, so we can get on to interacting with the fiction rather than talking about how to interact with the fiction. I feel your pain. Achieving escape velocity against Dungeons & Dragons is maybe the greatest struggle for any RPG player.

Oh damn... called out. Guilty. A room devoted to crafting and costuming, even, with a whole closet full of costumes in garment bags, and big bins full of bagged and labeled accessories. Wigs. Shoes. Costume makeup. Fake teeth, contacts, eyelashes... I might go overboard when I get into something. The next person knows how to sew their own clothes.

On the morning later, Nymphia would start waking up and carefully look around before she moved, if she did.
