Drugs. Have to be careful with that! I probably shouldn't try them, right? In her novels they had been the bane for many a character. Drugs often led down a dark path of despair, one which generally ended in disaster! That said they could also create unexpected avenues forwards towards friendships or other valuable opportunities! Some were also less dangerous than others. Ecstacy was supposed to be one of the less dangerous ones. Potentially addictive, like any drug, but not something that was going to leave permanent damage.
