  1. That's exactly correct. I kind of made it a two-pronged use. Both are "oops, too much" but I figured it could be used more ways that one. How does this sound: d4 Honeypot: You know how to make people want you and how to turn that desire into opportunity. Whether through calculated charm, feigned affection, or dangerous intimacy, you lure others into vulnerability and extract what you need: secrets, access, or obedience. You can fake love, but the danger lies in sometimes feeling it for real. Roll this Distinction’s die when romantic, sexual, or emotional manipulation could give you an advantage. d4: Earn a Plot Po

  2. Glad to hear that! with my reference point on how the system works this feels practically perfect! gotcha... fuck i was hoping a couple people might suggest some sort of interaction because im still trying to catch up on the backlogs of group one XD ... plus if I only have one step up right now from a D4 to a D6 ill probably want a connection with the musician, with the justification that "he may be useful as an "in" to a party later, its worth keeping him close" or something like that?

  3. That's a perfect place to start! And like Izzy said, there's going to be more chances to raise other relationships as you get further on the Pathway steps.

  4. ...I had whiplash for a moment because i forget her fake name was jolene XD, I would like to set her up as having a mildly friendly flirty relationship with kojo. maybe he likes taking her as a date to these kinds of things because she was not only fine with you flirting with other girls but actively seemed to encourage it when she went off to go check on something... when in actuallity she went off to investigate a lead she went to the party for in the first place. hell I could see the two of them starting play as fuck buddies full on potentially, well we can have his headaches be how they met at the pharmacy, depending on how significa

  5. Mao watched around, seeing so many humans. Jumi's comment made her look at her. "...I can push the attention away.", she suggested, making Nall gasp and instantly glare at her. "No! This is not any of our business. Gotta trust Jumi and her friend. Besides, are you afraid of humans taking a liking to you?", he joked at the end, only making the catgirl look away. "No...", she replied, not adding anything else. Nall then looked at Jumi, "We will behave. Just don't let any of them pull on my wings if they want to touch me." Before they left, the idea of a place making food for humans suddenly tempted him but he would still behave and stay around

  6. It had not yet occurred to Jumi this might be the place Mitsuko went to school. Would not think Mitsuko and Reika had any connection there, indirect as it might be. So far, no one was looking closely at the inside of the car. Not paying attention to them. “…This is not my territory, but especially so soon after the convention, I’m probably going to draw attention. Still, it is probably better to do it this way. Depending on what she wants us to find out, they might be more willing to answer a Magical Girl than a random visitor. There is a chance Hikaru will help that image as well as you two.” ”I suspect most students here have no

  7. Mao's mind was shaken a bit from hearing Jumi but perhaps it was worth giving this one a chance. The fairy did not see her mistress like an instant enemy, at least not now if she was to believe her. She was a good friend of Shinigami, clearly, with what she had done with her last night. This alone meant a lot in the end. Only thing Mao was not aware of was what her business was with the blue haired girl. She had not seen her a lot yet except once in the temple and maybe that other time before Reika left with her. Nall, for himself, calmed down with his stories after listening to Jumi. "Alright, then. Mitsuko trusts you so I will. If there's a

  8. Jumi did not tell any of them everything that was said and happened in the dream. Her view of Reika was not quite the same as Hikaru. Caution. But if things went well, she was open minded to being on somewhat more positive terms with Reika. One less enemy. Not trying to permanently separate Shinigami and Reika. For Shinigami’s sake and not to be needlessly cruel to Reika’s feelings. But it depended on what Reika did between now and Mitsuko’s healing. It was a fragile trust that needed to be built, if it was going to be stronger. They were in the city now. That part of drive was usually short. By car, the temple was not that far

  9. Nall and Mao both listened while they drove away but unlike the cat, the neko was able to see outside and she watched the way everything shifted with their speed, the world she normally did not see like this by herself. She was not a witness of what Jumi and Reika did together but was it just that? Only a mean to keep the reaper friendly so their friend was not in danger? A plan of magical humans to discover what they could about an enemy to fight them better later. Mao understood that there was a conflict but she was not that knowledgeable in the reasons why those conflicts really took place. Unlike processing this like a demon, humans were

  10. Jumi could not really say much about Nall’s second point. She did not know enough details about what happened. But with Death involved, it was not purely humans involved. The process was at least ordered, maybe guided by a ‘higher’ power. She was still unsure if that power should be considered a god or something like one though. Was he involved with the machine too, or was Reika capable of that on her own? First, she updated Hikaru on Mitsuko, and parts of the dream. More or less repeating the explanation she gave Nall, sparing the details, though Hikaru probably guessed some of them. “We should be careful. Learn what we can. Bu

  11. Nall felt relief soon enough after hearing Jumi. "Oh good, no brain eating, got it. It means we will see her again. Let's not tell Althena that I almost lost her twice...", he said, looking guilty but even he knew that the only thing to do was to move on and, IF she was in danger, then find a way to go save her. According to jumi, she was doing fine or at least not bad so he could relax for the time being. "Humans really are good with machines, aren't they? I've seen them used for war but also for good... They can go boom so loudly and destroy everything and there are other ones healing you. Wait... The one she is in created that beast? Well,

  12. “Probably not that sort of undead, if she is undead. Have not seen any sign she is interested in that. Probably would have got a warning from Shinigami too, if that was what going on. No, Mitsuko should be safe. I’m taking her word on that. More like preserving her body in a constant unchanging state, if that is what is going on.” Jumi replied, finding the thought process a little cute. She was not sure to what extent Reika was corrupt, but it did not look like she was after brains…only souls. But was that just a mission or part of how. “As for the machine, I don’t really get its full purpose, but it has earned my belief it should be

  13. Nall gasped a bit as he heard Jumi's theory. A girl related to death, being dead... Nothing crazy there, at least in the world of magic. These ideas never really came to his mind but at the same time, he only had seen her twice so far. Once was with the cat girl and once was when she had done those horrible things to the fox. A terrible punishment to inflict to any creatures, even a strong beast. "No wonder she is unknown, then. She is a scary brain eating monster hidden in the shadows.", he said, almost sounding perfectly unironic. Mao turned her head to give him a small glare but as Nall was on Jumi's shoulder still, he ignored her. "She wo

  14. Jumi sighed softly, as Nall’s point made sense and they made their way to the gate, where they should not have to wait long. “Hikaru probably has not heard from everyone he asked yet. But I’m still considering the idea mentioned last night, in the altar room. If she is connected to Death, it is not impossible she herself is dead, undead, in someway. If so, she might be older than she appears, another generation…or…”. It was possible she was something else. “She resembles a Broken Girl in some ways, but it is also possible she never was a traditional Magical Girl. Her powers might have started with Death giving them to her. Some sort o

  15. As they followed, Nall remained close to Jumi, staying in the air and only landing on her shoulder when they stopped in the throne room. Mao instead stayed apart but followed them anyway. The eyes on her made her cautious and stick closer to the fairy, however. She was not exactly shy of being the center of attention, especially floating in the air as she was, but she was not for a fight in case one of them may try something. The name of her mistress was mentioned again with a plan to find more about her. She was not known to many humans, even these ones didn't know her. But would these humans that they talk about really do? Being part of thi

  16. Jumi listened to Nall’s thoughts on the possibility, and mentions of apparent politics between gods that she was not very familiar with. He would have a better idea about such things than her. He was probably right. Had she just not noticed the sword in what Reika showed her? It was still worth asking about. The tube and fluids might have hid it from Nall’s senses and her sight. But if he was right, sone of it was just more confusing. Was there something Nall was unaware of, that might have changed his answer? Or something else. It would have to wait until she saw Reika again. Maybe two times later, if the punishment session was too

  17. Nall only stared at Jumi as he heard her thought, even if not quite literally. He was not a mind reader. "If so, it's probably safe but I don't know about being part of her...", he replied, looking up in thoughts for himself. "The sword is the holy weapon of Althena... She is not a fighter herself but a worthy human is destined to protect her in time of needs. Odin had threatened to bring chaos to the world with the help of Lenneth who is seeking to get rid of the sword first... Something I can't let happen but if the sword is with Mitsuko, it should be out of her reach. Still... I don't think the sword can be part of her. It's a key to the m
