Back at Gearhart Repairs, besides the locomotive station she was employed for, there was almost always a scent that clung to the place. And she lived there. The dry, woody notes of sawdust, smoke from any manner of fuel she required, and as of these last few months the acrid scent of gunpowder. Living there, Millie had fully accepted- and even welcomed- that she wasn't to be at home with the others in this town. After all, she wasn't at home anywhere. But it was one thing to smell like a machinist in your workspace, and quite another outside of it. Millie could care less what people thought, usually, when she went about her business around th3 points

Once StarlitSiren posts, I'll probably do a few posts (or one big post with sections for each NPC) as people react to the arrival of the PCs, give you all a chance to react/chat/have some rp fun, then I'll have the Master of Ceremonies (a respectable and quite likeable chap named Mr. Silas Ward) step on stage for introductions so we can get to the show!3 points

Capacity. Over capacity? This is safe. The loud droning murmuring of so many people awaiting the coming show near one of the few entrances into the hall quieted into hushed whispers and brief, peaceful moments of silence. It spread like a bubble, drifted down along one of the crowded lanes of traffic, and the way it parted people lingering within the crowded aisle made it appear almost physical in nature. As it passed some within the crowd left behind grew louder. Others kept their conversations low. Most of the conversations were dreadfully boring, the same sort of thing that had been discussed again and again. "Who is that?"3 points

Well I'll be hog-tied! (don't get any ideas) You're right. For some reason I have him as Jack Bennett on EVERY sheet lol. I must have read it wrong or gone all Pride and Prejudice in my mind... I'll have to change that everywhere. Jane is also a resource. Sigh. I forgot that you actually moved her when I gave everyone the option to keep them as relationships or drop them to resources. I'll get those changes made. Thanks for noticing!2 points

This was Novaer. Although out stories are very similar. I too am married, my wife is @Neptune. As for how long, how, why and such... well, if you know, you know, you know? Thanks to whoever reacted. I have corrected the record for this account holder. Me. Tema. :)2 points

The tamping of the fine carpet under Missy's heels was like the slow tapping of fingertips behind the rainfall cacophony of the music hall crowd finding their seats: dramatic, deliberate, nearly a ceremonial step. Walk slow-like. You move fast an' you'll blend in. Everybody's in a hurry, so you rush and all of a sudden you're just part of everybody. And you're not, Missy Fisher. They don't know it yet is all. So it's up to you to convince 'em. Clarence Whitty's sideshow barker cadence cracked through into Missy's mind, tucking itself between the cool silver blossoms of her Art Nouveau earrings and the silent recital of her prepared2 points

Decided to edit my post a bit, add a little life to the post and use the prompt even though I had already posted. I feel a bit better about it.2 points

Nall would still try his paw at finding out how far he can make it. IF Reika even can be followed in this place. Mitsuko on the other hand kept eating until she was done and despite her odd action of before, she did not seem to hear Jumi speak. After she was done, she then got up, gave herself a good stretch while thinking that nobody else was around to see her like this anyway then went to discard her dish properly. Stepping to walk away, Mitsuko soon stopped again, looking in the general direction of Jumi and bit her lip. Something seemingly troubled her even if she should not see anyone but Reika. A feeling maybe, as she tried to see somet1 point

“We may not get another update about Mitsuko and what she gets up to her until we hear it from herself after it is over.” If the two of them went any further, it might be kept secret, like the time Jumi would eventually have with Reika. She guessed it was mostly up to if Reika wanted to show off. Jumi was not thinking much about it at the moment, but if she was given a show, it would be hard to not watch Mitsuko have a good time. She trusted Mitsuko though. Neither of them were going to go too far with Reika, as long as she clung to her ways and loyalties. A balancing act, don’t push her away too hard, but don’t get too close either. E1 point

Nall sighed from hearing it from Jumi. He knew that Reika was not a good person, he felt it in his guts. Her not being a demon however did show some of whatever was left of her human nature. Reika was clearly plotting something but what, that was hard to say. Mitsuko did not seem to be too bothered by it. Or rather, she was oblivious to it. At least Nall was explained a bit about why the both were naked, even if that didn't explain much about why they appear to be naked often. He guessed it was better not to question humans in this case. He would be a hypocrite if he said that there was not something attractive to it. Best was not to think to1 point

You have a Novaer signature to update too, not retired anymore. As for me, been a long long time since I’ve been in one. Don’t see it changing at this point. Sort of thing is just too difficult for me for a variety of reasons.1 point

It's been a year since I wrote this, and just over 5 years since we got together, and despite my inability to make any relationship work in a positive manner, we're still going strong. This is now officially my longest relationship ever and I can't believe how happy I am.1 point

Jumi did not really care what Reika did, as long as she did not hurt or try to manipulate Mitsuko. She could not ignore the hint of how Reika was treating Mitsuko, but it was not enough to make upset or jealous, or anything, as long as Mitsuko was not uncomfortable with it. Mitsuko at first glance at least seemed to have an attitude not completely unlike her own, not hostile, but not cautious. It was hard to tell if Reika would try to push it further, either because of Mitsuko herself or maybe for the audience Mitsuko was unaware of. Was Mitsuko thinking like her, one time only, or had enough of Jumi rubbed off on her that she might be ca1 point

Nall didn't like that idea or what it might ultimately do if that was what had happened to Mitsuko. Althena's power was given through that sword. The worst was that there was no way to tell with the way Reika had set this upon them. Was this part of her plan? Right now, he wanted to keep watching despite the oddity of it although not surprising considering what Shinigami wanted out of both girls. Reika wanted him to see Mitsuko as well, probably because she knew he was worried but still. Another point that Jumi had made that made him curious was exactly how much did the dumb fox know about her "mistress" if she had lied to even her? At least1 point
