Monsters are born from Two manners they manifest from the earth or are born naturally from a female. Monsters can breed with any species and itll usually just be the monster race. Though half breeds exist they're less common. Depends on how your monster was created but most "pure" monsters one day start existing somewhere. It's a mixture really. There isn't going to be monsters in cages but there might be some in certain sections that are like a zoo you know wide fences that keep them in for their own protection and most of the time it's Lune goes out there and seduces the monsters or captures them she will tanqualize a monster if it's too unruly when she meets it.
