So, with the Apocalypse World debacle behind us, is there some other game we'd all like to play? What's everyone playing with their regular IRL group? At my table it's been the new edition of TMNT. Super fun if you're into 80's camp and the kind of dark humor that permeated the comics. And you're willing to play Paladium's admittedly wonky system. I've always loved it, so I'm having a great time.

Dante main communication is via body language and gestures, he understands perfectly what people say. His ability to speak is gonna be a growth thing to his character, so, words appear when hes on a high emotional state. Eventually he will be able to speak with one worded response along with gestures. Since the trio are canines, communication via growls and woofs could be a thing.

Don’t worry about it. I’m not upset about it. It is something I thought would be fun, but not something I need to make. Also, if I make them, it probably won’t be for a while. Still a lot of details to think about, and it would probably wait until I have more time to write. At the very least, you should have a while to try your characters before I consider making mine. And in the end I may decide to do something else.

It reads to me like The Manor is just referring to everything within the land Lune's owns aka the estate around so its not particularly specific. It describes everything contained within the Estate Lune owns, but since a home sits on it its called The Manor. The Heartstone Core is, as described, the home itself which sits at the center of all the land. Sometimes homes have pretty weird names lol like Slug Hollow or The Raging Woman (That one is real btw).

I was not trying to rip off your idea. I can try to make them a little different. What I was trying to do was take a trio of sisters I played in another club and fit them to the setting. It was just an initial idea though. I'll think about ways to make them more unique.

What I said before is that the manor thread was originally intended (in what I see) as the world description of every other zones. I mean, if the "manor" is the direct area outside the "heartstone core", (a strange name for a house but fine), I'd understand. As it is, it seems like both of them are the same location, only mistaken for something else. Good to hear that my idea was so good that it inspires copying. Yeah, I read that the same way (why I assumed they were inside when I read the description, but before I read the posts and started writing). But went along with how others were writing. To be fair a Manor refers to not only a house itself but the land around the house which is the Estate it sits on. The Heartstone core being the house itself makes sense as does referring to everything around as The Manor for descriptive purposes but I get how it might be confusing.

Read the description of Heartstone core. It speaks of ballrooms, lounges and private suites. The only time "grounds" is mentionned is that the place is a neutral ground where all of the zones converge. It is not grounds as in soil. It IS the manor itself. So I do believe that there was a little misunderstanding there about what the heartstone core really is.
