Because I'm quite versatile, here's a more detailed version of the list above:
Private vs Public:
➸ I'm willing to participate in both private and public roleplays.
Response Length:
➸ I typically avoid one-liners. Other than that, however, I'm relatively flexible when it comes to post length. Especially since sentences and paragraphs don't accurately reflect word-count or how detailed and inspiring a response is. In however many sentences/paragraphs you can give me a response that will not only react to my own response, but also push things forward a little, that is the minimum requirement I have for a response. Beyond that, whatever else you can give is a bonus. Realistically, I think such a response would require approximately 100-500 words, or 1-5 paragraphs, but I am definitely down for longer responses. When playing multiple characters, it is not too rare for me to push past 1000 words, if I'm feeling inspired.
➸ More so than the quantity of the roleplay, I seek quality. Emotions, thoughts, scene setting, reactions, actions, dialogue... there is much that goes into a detailed response. That said, I have had players who have managed to keep my interest in a roleplay with responses that averaged out a paragraph per response, so I don't have much of a lower limit except for the whole "no one liners" thing.
➸ Maximum lengths aren't something I have either, but if you wind up effectively controlling the roleplay or my characters because of how far ahead you've gotten... that would be too long. Reasonably speaking, I can't see an instance where a single character in a regular post - not including starters, settings, time-skips, etc. - would necessitate over 1000 words. If there are side-characters, it's a starter, you're scene setting or writing both before and after the time-skip, such lengths makes sense, though. Remember, we're playing out interactions not a speech competition with a dozen consecutive monologues. Additionally, people who interact tend to disrupt each other all the time, and aren't likely to remember every word the last person said if they've spoken an essay's worth.
Grammar/Spelling:
➸ I am not a native English speaking, in that English is my second language. I will not understand everything, but I do try to have punctuation in place, start sentences with an uppercase letter, those sorts of basics. You need not know all the uses of a semi-colon. I don't either. However, I would appreciate it if you did not right IC responses in all-lower-case aesthetic. Especially without sufficient punctuation to break up the text. OOC, feel free to use what is most comfortable (just don't overdo it with the slang, since I won't understand all of it).
➸ No one's spelling is perfect, but it would be good if you tried to read over your response before sending it, or at least as you are writing them. Furthermore, there are apps and sites that can help you with spelling (at least in American English... though I use British English). It doesn't matter too much which English you use, though.
➸ IC, please do not use text-talk unless it is appropriate. Characters can text talk when they're texting, or maybe if they're reading out a text, or occasionally when talking, but it shouldn't feature in the surrounding prose. Partly because it can get confusing, and partly because I find it a little lazy. I think if we have sufficient time to roleplay in the first place, there is sufficient time to avoid having to shorten "you" to "u". Standard contractions like "can't" or "won't" are fine though, especially if they're in-character. If a character is more formal, though, maybe use less of them.
Point of View:
➸ I strictly roleplay in third person. First person point of view is just not one I feel comfortable with.
➸ Past tense is preferred, but I'm perfectly fine with present tense.
Roleplay Length:
➸ While I have a strong preference for long-term roleplays - their specific length being determined more by how long we're motivated to continue the roleplay for and less by some specific deadline -, I might be willing to do a short-term roleplay. Such a roleplay would likely be more casual, probably shorter in post-length as well, and I likely wouldn't indulge in smut in it, sorry. (Although exceptions might be made if a good enough reason is given for smut to happen in such a short amount of time.)
Preferred Genders:
➸ More often than not, I roleplay as male characters. That is not to say that I'm not willing to play female characters, non-binary, transgender, etc. I can certainly play them for your sake (or at least try to, wherever personal experience is lacking). It also doesn't mean that I'm an expert on men or women, so please don't take my take on them as reflective on anything.
➸ Gender to me is more of a social construct - sure, there might be a biological aspect to it, but it is definitely highly influenced by society's perception of what each gender is or isn't/is supposed to do or isn't supposed to do. Hence, I don't care all that much about it, and like to play a little outside the set expectations for genders. "Effeminate guys"/"femboys" is currently specific type of guy that I crave playing, but for your sake I can definitely try to play any other kind of guy, gal, etc.
Gender Pairings:
➸ My personal preference is for cisgendered M x F (maybe with a dash of F x F-ish - basically, shapeshifting might be involved on my side of things). I'm also down for poly/threesomes/harems.
➸ That said, for your pairing, I am genuinely willing to do any gender pairing, as long as all parties involved are 18+. (And preferably 20+) Cis/Trans/etc., I'm good with whichever, so long as you're willing to play out mine.
➸ As I have plenty of acquaintances on the lgbtq+ spectrum both IRL and online, I would ask of you to be careful about what you say about them - I do not accept homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, misogyny, etc. IC bigotry is fine, if it has a place in the story and makes sense. OOC bigotry is not. If it's not your cup of tea, just say so - you're under no obligation to roleplay it and I won't even try to make you do so -; there's no need to give them weird names, take jabs, or create offensive stereotypes just to offend them or something.
Additional Information:
➸ I am keen on doubling. Which means, I do your pairing and I do mine. We don't have to double, but that would require assurance that I'd still get the kind of roleplay I am looking for. Personally, I'm of the conviction that if you have the time to do one roleplay, you can split up the time and do two, if that is what it takes to satisfy both parties.
➸ While smut can be both useful to a story and fun, I do believe smut should be used in moderation, and played out where it makes sense and where it is relevant. As someone who is not interested in having sex themselves (hi, demisexual here), it very much depends on the story, the characters and the circumstances they find themselves in. I don't abide by a strict ratio, but - and especially with people I don't know as much - I'm less eager to jump straight into smut. And, not to offend, but I'm slightly less eager to do so with cis, straight men, because of uncomfortable past experiences, so I might need a little bit more patience from you guys. (I'm still up for roleplaying with that demographic, by the way, it's just that I'm less likely to indulge in anything steamy there.)
➸ I am NOT here to date, and my character is NOT me. We may share a couple traits, but there is a level of separation there. Please respect that.
➸ I do tend to play a lot of side/minor characters. I also play non-humanoid animal companions. I call them that, because I've really soured on the usage of "pet" for any non-humanoid companion. These animals won't take over the roleplay - unless we happen to a roleplay where characters are temporarily animals for whatever reason -, and there will be absolutely no bestiality for my side of things. If a character has a beast form, they must still leave smut to their human(oid) form. I also don't do non-sapient animal x animal smut.
➸ I am very down for playing out dark roleplays and themes. While I don't want constant angst/trauma porn, I don't mind having grittier moments, and covering things like abuse, trauma, death, discrimination, exploitation, etc. In a non-con framing, done people outside of our pairing, I might even be willing to include some topics listed in the "Nope" section. That being said, I'm not interested in it being the main thing, so the darker aspects of the roleplay should be played out in moderation.
Canon & Original:
➸ Technically, I can do either.
➸ But I have a preference for canon characters and a current craving for alternate universe settings.
➸ I prefer canon x canon pairings for my side of things, but I can also do original x canon and original x original. This can be in an original setting or a fandom setting.
➸ Head-canons, additional world-building, etc. are things I enjoy. Playing it straight and just following the canon feels often a bit too restrictive for me.
➸ There are a lot of existing settings I'm willing to do a roleplay in, including a variety of animes, books, tv shows, movies and games. It might be more worthwhile inquiring about them than expecting an exhaustive list - though I might add one onto here, or somewhere more relevant at some point.
➸ The pairings I currently crave are Mereoleona x William (Black Clover) and Pitch (RotG) x Elsa/Esmeralda/Megara/Rapunzel/Tiana (all from Disney's animated range). Naturally, I would prefer to play the guy. I might be willing to concede on Pitch x OC, if the OC is a cis female character played by you that is sufficiently interesting, or if I can be persuaded by you that you can play Pitch (just send me an written scene for him and if he seems in character, I'll accept), then Pitch x My OC.
➸ When it comes to canon x canon characters the gender-pairings I'm willing to do depends on the character(s). I would either ask or wait for a more exhaustive list.
Expanded Smut-Related Stuff List
Always Up For:
➸ Aftercare - A wholesome show of affection and care after a spicy session can really add to both the session and the roleplay as a whole. It can help build the characters and add variety to the interactions. Besides, there are times when it would be very much required to help bring a character back down to earth and prevent them from experience severe negative effects of an intense session.
➸ Age Differences - Currently craving a bit of younger man x older woman, but I also do like older man x younger woman, provided both are 20+.
➸ Body Worship - Definitely down for two characters appreciating each other physically as well as emotionally, but I do especially love to have my male characters give rather than receive with this one.
➸ BDSM - Specifically the D/S side of things. A little S & M is fine too, mostly in terms of biting, scratching and rough sex, but for my part, I would like to avoid moderate or heavy S & M with the whips and whatnot. For my side of the pairing, I will only play sub, switch or vanilla. For yours, I can do any. Blindfolds, bondages, chains, collars, leashes, etc. all welcome. Slave/master dynamics also welcome, but I'd rather for the male character I'm playing in my pairing to be the slave. Begging, praise, orgasm denial/delay, restraints, etc. I am also definitely open to for both sides.
➸ Cross-Dressing - Particularly when it comes to guys, but I think it can be both fun and come with stunning results both ways. Besides, men leaning into their feminine side is never going to not be interesting.
➸ Cunnilingus, vaginal fingering and vaginal sex - so long as the lead up is there, we good here.
➸ Dubious Consent - On the darker side of things, the desire to have my cake and eat it (exploring non-consensual-esque themes while not making my mains rapists) is currently a very powerful one. The complicated and nuanced nature of relations under such circumstances, the consequences and how characters act in such scenarios is interesting. Sex pollen, aphrodisiacs, drugs, potions and third parties forcing our characters hands (on each other), can help push a plot, a pairing and character development in directions they might not have gone otherwise. Heats/ruts and other circumstances are also very much welcome.
➸ Emotions - Exploring a wider range of emotions than just "horny" can be very satisfying and can help further develop characters' relationships with one another beyond just sexually. The intimacy involved in foreplay and sex can be a great vehicle for character exploration and development, or even help push plots forward. Bonus points if you are capable of adding more to a sex scene than just the act of sex itself. Make me laugh, make me cry, make me concerned for your character. And in turn you'll make my character react in more ways, and keep things interesting. (Yes, I know I said earlier that I am not my character, but if I, a mildly emotionally unstable person that'll tear up to the picture of a polar bear on ice floe with some cliche sad music playing in the background, don't feel a thing, can you blame me if my more stoic characters don't react either?)
➸ Femboys - I like to play effeminate males, or potentially play against feminine men, but currently I really want to do the former, so I'm not likely to just do the latter.
➸ Masks - I love my cryptic, mysterious bitches.
➸ Non-Human Humanoids - I love playing as supernatural or fantastical creatures. Especially, vampires, fae, elves, shifters (not to be confused with werewolves), mermaids/sirens, naga, nekos, and other original creations. I also appreciate twists on existing humanoids. (Never been a fan of sparkling vampires, you see.)
➸ Opposites - I have a fondness for opposites. Tall x short, dark haired x light haired, grumpy x sunshine, dom x sub, etc. Opposite-adjacent things, such as having characters that are distinct, but not necessarily in an opposite sense - such as characters with distinct eye colours or hair colours that don't necessarily oppose each other, or characters from very different backgrounds - are also something I like exploring in roleplays. I'm not talking extreme opposites (like micro/macro), but I do like distinct characters in general. Nothing duller than playing against the clone of a character. Also, small dom x big sub and younger dom x older sub are both welcome.
➸ Pet-play - preferably with me playing the "pet" (more so kitten, than puppy/pony, but for your pairing I can do either of those two as well). Not to be confused with bestiality.
➸ Role-reversal - I like when the role typically held by one gender is given to a person of the opposite gender, or when a powerful person becomes weak, or in some cases, perhaps when someone who was originally the lead partner in a sexual scene or the top ultimately ends up at the bottom, as the submissive. (But this is specifically in the case of an inexperienced person who has not yet learned to dom gradually finding themselves as a dominant and the one who up until then almost played a sort of dominant to them while leading them through things ending up submitting, and returning to their preferred role as a submissive, and specifically if I'm playing the more experienced one.)
➸ Safe Words - Even where the sex isn't so intense, safe-words help add to the sense that communication has taken place, and can also add flavour to characters and the roleplay in general. I'm always up for safe-words.
➸ Sensuality - A focus on feelings, communication and touches that aren't overtly sexual (like grabbing someone's dick), but contribute to building desire between our characters. Soothing/comforting/arousing voices, feather-light touches in places that aren't immediately associated with sex, but can contribute to it (like ears, or neck, or shoulder, or any other sensitive place on your character).
➸ Sparring - basically, I love when characters start out as rivals or enemies and some of that verbal/physical sparring they were used to from their rival/opposition days carries over to their lover days, if perhaps it's a little more playful now. Alongside this, I also would love to have two characters that seem equally dominant at first to fight for dominance with one ultimately surrendering and submitting to the other. Especially if the one that submits is submissive all along, and maybe somewhat reluctant to let on that they are submissive.
➸ Taboo - By which I mean relationships that would be considered inappropriate/unprofessional. I don't mean illegal. Think more professor x student, boss x employee, sex work related stuff (since, you know, prostitution isn't entirely legal in a lot of places...) not paedophilia, necrophilia, or zoophilia. Even things like same-sex relationships in a historical context could fit that bill. That said, what I don't mean is non-consensual. Consent will be present. A little challenged by the power dynamic, but ultimately, the inequality must be bridged by the two characters being trustworthy enough not to coerce, manipulate, groom or threaten each other into relations. Even if the characters are otherwise dubious in their morality, they should be upstanding enough not to actively choose rape of their own volition.
➸ Twinks - by this, I do not mean queer men, I just mean men with a skinny/lean build often associated with gay men, but not necessarily belong to gay men. Basically, I like to play and/or play against skinny bitches, take it or leave it.
Might Be Up For
➸ Blood Drinking - Only for vampires.
➸ Cheating - Depending on the circumstances, it can be a complex and interesting topic to explore.
➸ Coercion/Blackmail - depends on how it is used/executed, but I could be down.
➸ Harems / Poly - Depends on the situation. For my pairing, I'd prefer one male being involved with multiple females with me playing the male, but I can always play multiple of any gender against a person of any gender for you. However, we'd have to both be playing out our harem/poly ideas for that.
➸ Distant relatives - I might be up for incest-esque scenarios with distant relatives, depending on the circumstances under which it happens, but I won't go near parent/child incest or sibling incest, or even adoptive/step/half sibling incest.
➸ Magic Used in Sex - depending on how, it can really add spice and make use of the setting/character's abilities. This might include shapeshifting, which with some of the male characters I play might involved shifting into female characters. (But I can also play a female that shifts into males if you wish to have that in your pairing.)
➸ Strip tease
➸ Tails & Tail Sex - provided the characters with tails involved in this are still mostly humanoid, a tail can be an interesting addition to bedroom shenanigans.
➸ Verbal degradation - depends on the kind of verbal degradation and words involved, but I might be down for a bit of this.
Strictly For Your Pairing:
➸ Anal - not my thing, but definitely down for a little bit of kinky ass-fuckery if it appeases my partner.
➸ Body Hair - look, I know we all have body hair and I'm fine with it being in roleplays, but if we're going to focus on it, then only if you want it for your pairing.
➸ Dildos, plugs, strap-ons, sex toys, pegging - personally, I like to make do with my character's bodies, but if you want something extra, we can see what we can conjure up to spice things up in your pairing's bedroom.
➸ Food play - I don't hate it, I don't love it, and I'm fine with doing that for you, so long as we aren't shoving food up people's asses or vaginas and it's relatively hygienic.
➸ Fellatio - My mains for my pairings won't be interested in giving or receiving this, strange as that might sound. But, if you would like those in your pairing to be up for this, sure, why not.
➸ Futanari/Women with dicks - Look, y'all are stunning and whatnot, but the guys in my pairing won't be interested in more dick. They already have one, and in some cases are the dick. /j
➸ Horror & Gore
➸ Intersex - if you want it for your pairing, you got it.
➸ Leather - look, if you want it for your pairing, sure. However, leather isn't something I personally find sexy for... reasons, which means it's harder for me to write it as something sexy.
➸ Multiple penetration - as part of me not being interested in there being more than one dick, this is something I'm good with doing for your pairing, but not for mine.
➸ Pegging
➸ Sadomasochism (extreme) - inc. heavy sexual pain, if you're into that.
➸ Selfcest and clones - as much as you like for your pairing. Well... I might be willing to do so for my pairing too, but it would depend.
➸ Semen swallowing - Again, will do it for your pairing, but not mine.
➸ Smoking/Drugs/Drinking - If you like it, your pairing can involve smokers/alcoholics and drug users, but it's far from a fantasy of mine, so I'd rather not explore it for my pairing.
➸ Sweat
➸ Tattoos/Piercings - We can include them in your pairing if you have a thing for them, but do me a solid and never include them in mine.
➸ Tentacles
➸ Tit-fucking
➸ Trans - If you want your pairing to feature them, sure, we can have as many as you want for your side of the roleplay.
➸ Very muscular characters - not my thing, but if you want me to play a muscular character for you in your pairing, or for yourself to play a muscular character in your pairing, then I'd be fine with doing that. Same goes for characters with more fat on their body than the average person, characters with moobs, etc.
Nope:
➸ Age-play. This includes age-regression where it involves sex. Non-sexual age-regression in platonic settings is fine.
➸ All the way through - As part of my unwillingness to indulge extremely sized dicks, I ain't doing this.
➸ Bathroom stuff - vomit, piss, shit, fart kinks. None of that is sexy or leaves me feeling comfortable. Keep it out of the bedroom.
➸ Bimbofication - This one feels too misogynistic.
➸ Beards & Facial hair - if you want characters in your pairing to have it, we can do that, but I'm not usually interested in them myself.
➸ Crushing - basically squeezing something under you (with your foot/ass) until you destroy it, or kill it, if it was alive. Yeaaaah... no. Especially not with living beings.
➸ Diapers - Anything that feels baby-related, baby-coded or bathroom-related is just not something I'd ever want to sexualise.
➸ Enemas - No.
➸ Excessively explicit organ descriptions - by which I mean paying far too much attention to the organs. I don't need anyone pointing out how monstrously huge their character's dick is, or how giant their tits are.
➸ Excess cum
➸ Extreme sizes - macro/micro, ridiculously large cocks, etc.
➸ Extreme Taboo - Paedophilia, necrophilia... absolutely NOT.
➸ Feeding Kink - and any disordered eating related kinks. Not to be confused with food play. Underweight/overweight kinks are very uncomfortable for me.
➸ Fetishes Involving Groups of People - No turning race, gender, sexuality, religion (or lack thereof), etc. in a fetish. We can certainly have folks from drastically different groups get together, but if it feels like fetishisation, I won't do it.
➸ Filth - dirty foot play, wound fucking, and other extremely unhygienic things... food play is an exception, but only where it is relatively hygienic still.
➸ Fisting - No.
➸ Forced feminisation - If a little bit of a push is needed, okay, but if you have to force it the whole way through... that idea makes me uncomfortable. I'd much rather explore men consensually or maybe dub-consensually, but not non-consensually, embracing their feminine side. Same with women too, actually. Especially with tomboys who choose to give more feminine clothes a shot for a change. Wouldn't want to force it on them either.
➸ Incest - Including both bio incest and adoptive incest, step-incest and other forms of pseudo-incest. Exceptions can be made - as mentioned above - for distant relatives under specific circumstances, though.
➸ Inflation
➸ Latex/Rubber - I can't put myself in the shoes of someone who finds it comfortable, so... no thank you.
➸ Oviposition
➸ Pregnancy kink - pregnancy is not something I'd like to fetishize because it just so happens to be one of the most dangerous things that can happen to an AFAB person, outside of, y'know, rape, abuse, assault, torture and murder. Also, as someone who would never wish to get pregnant, I just cannot put myself in the shoes of someone who finds it sexy.
➸ Sexual gifs/images - No. At all. Absolutely not. If you want images, because you are "visual writer", please keep them SFW.
➸ Stomach bulging - Nope.
➸ Udders - Not interested in cows.
➸ Un-birthing - Again, pregnancy related stuff ain't my kink and it gives me the ick.
➸ Unusual cum - I already hate explicit descriptions of normal organs and stuff, why would I like this?
➸ Urethra play - sorry but even just reading it squicks me out.
➸ Vore - Sorry, no.
