What I write and how I act on here is just a side of me, and it is not the whole image of who I am as a person. I am not here for anything more than a writing partner, friend at most. Please do not read into anything written or said as anything more than playful banter.
Preferences
- Post length is negligible. I'm not going to demand seven paragraphs when a conversation is taking place at you can, at most, give me a paragraph of their reaction, maybe internal thought process, and a response. If I have trouble finding something to go off of from your post, I will ask for your assistance in this. It may mean I ask you to write more or define something within. You are welcome to do the same, in fact I encourage communication throughout writing. I like to know the people I write with, at least enough of them that I can add in bits that are for my partner's enjoyment.
- Please don't write for me. If you want or need my character to do something, and there is no real way for you to post without this, then talk to me OOC. Tell me what you want, what's happening, and I will say if there will be a physical or audible reaction that you can handle. However, don't take my response for granted. I try not to do the same because it truly is such a pet peeve of mine.
- Unless I've posted a request of something I'm looking to write please come to me with some form of an idea. It can be a rough draft of "I'm looking to play a pirate, maybe you might be interested in any of these roles..." but don't say, "Hey, I thought we could RP" and that's it.
- I happily accept suggestions for images for my characters but I will not be told. I try to make sure that the image is something my partner likes but also speaks to me in a way that agrees with the sense I have for the character. Obviously if I'm coming to you with the request and you have a set of images you prefer people use then I'm not going to stomp my foot and demand only my images. That's your house and this is mine.
I love writing worlds. It's not about sex but the tension, the anticipation, the drama... everything that a good story should have. I don't care if you prefer to be a furry, or an alien, or a ten-foot tall man (I lie, please don't choose to be a ten-foot tall man. I don't want to know what the proportional equipment goes to that height). I don't always want to be human, though I will admit that the closest I've ever been to writing a furry is being a shifter that has a hybrid shape. Yes, I am aware that is not a furry because I have friends who are furry and they are beautiful people. The point is, if this becomes long term, and I get really into it, I could start talking about having multiple couples and fleshing out the world to a bigger scope than your character and mine. It's not saying that this is a requirement, it is most emphatically not that. You always have the option of saying no, and I will always try my very best to respect every single one of your boundaries.
