A villain turned around

So, I have a pretty specific idea I wanna play out. It's a long term rp and it's available to change up. But this is what I had in mind.

My character is a retired villain, who has long hung up his suit. He simply desires to live a simple life. Pay mortgage, feed the dog, mow the lawn. He even has himself a girlfriend now.

But not all is peaceful. One of his rivals from his past has returned and is constantly making his life a bad scene. At first it's small things the former villain wouldn't recognize as being his rival. Flat tire. Burnt out spark plugs. Dog shit on the yard. Clogged sinks. But then one thing happens that drives the former villain over the edge. The rival kidnaps his girlfriend.

So he goes on his way to retrieve her. And while she is waiting, his rival is telling her all the things her lover has done over the years. Who he use to be. The heartless and arrogant bastard he was. At least till the former managed to break into the layer and lay into the rival.

Now freed, the girlfriend thanks her boyfriend and tells him she knows who he was. But that she also knows who he is. And what he can become. She encourages him to be a hero, and will stand behind him 100% of the way.
