  • Looking for Something With Story??

I haven't done any long term rp's in a while. I've been roleplaying for years. I put down two plots I've come up with, but I'd love to hear what you guys have in mind as well.

    1. They're Only Human (MxF) (definitely inspired by the Death Note Musical song)

Two primordial beings bound by duty to one another get bored of their lives above humans and descend to earth to sate their curiosity about life on Earth. One (M) could care less about the human race and is in fact infuriated by how pointless their lives are. How they could carry on blindly without question like toy soldiers. But he to admit, the little buggers are quite entertaining with how they quarrel and obsess over the littlest things. The other (F) shows a bit more intrigue into the day to day lives of the humans. How they've evolved from simple specs of dirt to building cities. She seems to admire all they've accomplished in such little time. Yet, at the same time, she is saddened by the idea of them having such short lives.

They take the form of humans to further integrate themselves and get a closer look at how things are on Earth. But, the longer they stay, she begins to drift from him. He had never seemed to care for her until she started to express more of herself. To see her come out of her shell more and thrive in the presence of these humans is more than frustrating as he realizes that she had never been that comfortable around him. They were meant to be a pair! Perhaps the loneliness and resentment he is feeling now, is what she had been feeling all this time..

Will this cold-hearted god find a way to win her over?

    2. Eat Your Young

A nuclear war has ended and the fallout has brought nothing but devestation. The government promised a safe zone, and yet that is a promise left unkept. Anger, famine, illness, and greed have caused the world to fall into chaos. Families have fallen apart. Such is the case of (A). They've become used to the smell of rot. The groaning floorboards and the constant, grating sound of bones on wood are now just background noise. Like the echo of someone walking down the hall during a phone call. (A) has learned to live in the suburban chaos of Sunny Pines. A festering suburbia of jawless housewives and tattered businessmen. At least the Phillips house still has girlscout cookies.

Lately, though, the neighbors have been drawn to something at the end of the block. A new neighbor perhaps? Why don't we welcome (B) to the neighborhood?

    3. Et Tu, Dear Wolf?

Witches and Primals have always been enemies. For centuries they've been at each others throats. One day, a Lycan finds himself competing for the position of Alpha...but being young and hot-headed, finds himself on the losing end. Having both his pride and his body severely wounded, he leaves the tribe and becomes and outcast. That's when he meets a Witch. She's alone for some reason, despite it being well known that Witches travel in threes for safety. Still wounded, the Lycan knows he wouldn't win even against a Witch so he takes cover to wait until she passes. But she finds him...and surprisingly offers to help him. He agrees after some coaxing and they go from there. Soon they become used to each others presence and are living together. He hunts and raids for them, she provides the comforts of home and teaches him anything he'd like to know. He's a bit rough, but she has patience. She's a bit high strung, but he shows her how to live. Perhaps Witches and Primals can live in harmony after all...
