MXM (teacher/best friend)

In a society where normal sized people and shrunken individual live somewhat harmoniously, those who are afflicted with the shrunken status can be normal sized by aid of a medicine; it is currently an effective way of battling the issue of shared size societies. 

I am interested in a couple of scenarios in a society such as this. 

1) Mr Williams teaches at Sorrelwood, a very prestigious university; which in order to maximize space and facilities, has the students be tiny, but at the end of the day are reverted back to their original size. Mr Williams, would be down on his luck struggling through a hard divorce and financial issues, leading to an unnecessary eviction. Being his favourite student, I would notice a change in Mr Williams usual teaching and ask; eventually I would invite him to stay at my place and offer to help him back on his feet. The arrangement becomes interesting when I prefer being shrunken in the home.

2) Another is growing up , I always had the power to shrink in size; however the effects lasted a day or more and my best friend was always fascinated by this, one day while hanging out and him getting stoned, I finally give in to this request and all hell breaks loose.
