Secret experiment

Plot:

You and your wife are scientist  The that are trying to get permission to tamper with human DNA. You are hoping to solve major health problems that are caused by certain dna combinations. While trying to solve these problems you find a way to mix DNA from different species in order to create a whole new one. This also gives you a chance to not only experiment with human DNA but also give your wife the one thing that you couldn't before; a child. 

Since experimenting with human DNA is it controversial you must conducted these experiments in secret. You're wife and partner in science agrees to hand over a few of her eggs for experimentation.  After many fail experiments you managed to successfully fertilize one of the eggs and place it in an artificial womb. You implanted DNA to help the child become faster, stronger, and have the ability to breathe underwater.  Within a matter of days the fetus turns into a fully formed baby. 

The child's growth rate is astonishing and you predict that within a week or 2 it will be completely full grown. However because of the child's animal instincts it has been increasingly difficult to control it as it grows.
