  • October 17, 1683. A carriage arrives at the courtyard of an ominous-looking building atop a hill. The grounds are small, and obscured by tall, ungroomed trees and hedges. The carriage's passenger barely has enough time to pull a large trunk out of the compartment before the driver sets off, almost at a gallop, pale-faced after seeing something moving in one of the windows.

The building belongs to the Sisterhood of St. Camilla, a convent little of which is known to any but a select few, one of whom happens to be the rector of the Hilminster Seminary, who the passenger happens to be a former student of. This is no coincidence, naturally, for Mr. Blythe did not send this student to this particular convent by chance. The Sisterhood of St. Camilla is secretive of its membership, which makes it a convenient place to dispose of undesirables in the student body. Particularly those who don't know how to keep quiet about their unsightly earthly desires, like a wish to have been born a woman instead... which happens to be the misdeed this particular exile is guilty of. Really, she should be grateful for the opportunity to serve in a convent!

Of course, the Sisterhood of St. Camilla is not, in truth, a Catholic convent, or a Christian one of any kind. It's an all-female vampire clan, which explains the conspicuous lack or crucifixes anywhere within the grounds. Not that the newcomer knows that, of course. And while the precepts of the Sisterhood may prohibit embracing the children of Adam, its membership certainly doesn't harbor any undue reverence for natural human biology, so the girl will not want for purpose here.

(this is my pitch for a period fantasy RP scene featuring you, a vampiric member of the sisterhood, and me, an unassuming seminary castout. while i did write my pitch to resemble a starter, i'm open to changing or adding any details you might want! i'll also let you decide on your character yourself, though i'd rather keep npc involvement fairly low, so someone my character can directly respond to would be convenient. i'm also open to requests regarding my character, in both appearance and personality, though i do have my own ideas if you'd rather let me handle it!)
