  • Wish Granted

Traveling out into the dessert, László Almasy had travelled through the desert for three days. Having heard of a being that could grant any three wishes. There was a rumor that you would have to wait until nightfall when the cave light would appear and one could venture forth to find what they're looking for. Having arrived midday, he was certain he'd get heatstroke and pass before getting the chance to make his wish. Finding a small boulder to hide behind in the shade of in the fetal position until the sun set. He pulled his shirt over his head to give just that extra bit of shade. The heat of the desert exhausting him to pass out, it wasn't until the cool breeze of the desert evening would chill him to awaken. Lifting his head out of his shirt he looked around and spotted a cave he had not seen earlier in the day. There was even a light inside, venturing towards the cave, he stepped inside. The light seemed to be curving around the cave walls as there were several twists yet the light called out to him. Finally coming to the main chamber of the cave there was but a simple candle lantern. His body having become chilled from the desert evening he sought warmth by extending his hands to rub the candle for warmth.

From there a big woosh of smoke shot out from the candle. Blinding his vision and taking the from the room as he coughed in a fit before the smoke would finally settle. He then spotted a woman laying on the other side of the lantern. She seemed less dressed than he and her skin seemed to have an eerie tint to it in the dim light of the cave. The candle lantern must've been running low on fuel. He couldn't understand how he didn't spot the woman earlier. Dropping to his knees, he assumed her position of power. "Please be the one I'm after. My loved one passed. She died in a cave not unlike this. There was an accident and her prop plane crashed. Please be the one who can bring her back to life!" Begging as he clasped his hands together as if praying to her. Unfortunately he was unaware of the rules of a wishmaker.
