A furry is someone who enjoys anthropomorphic animals—animal characters with human-like traits such as speech, emotions, intelligence, or the ability to walk upright. The furry fandom is a creative community built around these characters, where people express their interest through artwork, stories, games, costumes, original characters (often called fursonas), conventions, or simply by appreciating anthropomorphic animal media. Every furry enjoys the fandom in their own way, and there is no single "right" way to participate—whether you're a casual fan or deeply involved in the community.
