Luna’s ears twitched at the unwelcome noise—an old irritation that should have been long forgotten. That sound hadn’t been heard in centuries, not since the former king had a smaller door installed to avoid it. But the new king simply hadn’t bothered have one of the servents fix it, aside from the occasional offhand remark that the hinges needed oil. She didn’t pause in her work, her cloth moving methodically over the dark stone, wiping away the last traces of dust and lingering stains from the night before. Even as footsteps echoed through the chamber, she remained focused, but she could already feel his presence pressing down on the space around her. The new king. Luna stole a glance, her sharp crimson eyes flicking upward. He was an unusual sight—his build was lean, almost delicate in contrast to his heavier, more pronounced lower half. His choice of attire, or lack thereof, left little to the imagination—a speedo bound by a harness, exposing smooth, toned skin. There was nothing overtly threatening about his appearance, yet his presence alone carried weight, something unnatural and suffocating. He wandered through the room with a slow, assessing gaze, as though still unfamiliar with the space he now ruled. It was clear he hadn’t taken the time to learn the faces of those who served him, nor the names of those who had been here before his reign. Then, his golden eyes landed on her. "Hey you, what are you doing?" His voice rang out, neither harsh nor particularly curious, but carrying enough authority to demand an answer. Luna straightened, setting her cloth aside before turning just enough to acknowledge him properly. Her wings folded neatly at her back, her tail flicking once before stilling. “Cleaning, my lord,” she answered smoothly, her tone even, unreadable. “As I do every morning.” She held his gaze for only a moment before lowering her eyes respectfully, waiting to see if he had anything else to say. Would he demand something more of her? Or was this nothing more than idle curiosity? For now, she remained still, ready for whatever came next.

the door continuously opened. the sound of something deep creek transitioning into something higher pitch echoed and filled the thrown room, and because of this alarming noise a more normal sized door was installed into the much bigger door. a solution implemented by the former king which is probably why hearing this thundering sound that hadn't been heard in centuries was a reminder of the new king who for whatever reason did not seem as bothered by the noise but did occasionally mention the doors needed oil to fix the issue. he was a figure that resembled the qualities of a anthropomorphic dragonoid. he had a twink like build with a skinny but lean upper body, but a curvy almost bottom heavy lower body. the brunt of his attire consisted of a speedo connected with a harness. admittedly this left little to the imagination. though the appearance alone didn't resonate anything that could be intimidating, he seemed to give of a aura that seemed to do the work for him. he peered around the thrown room as he was walking threw before eventually noticing the one maid cleaning the place. still getting used the to place and thus hadn't even managed to learn the names of those who were serving him let alone those who had been here for the king before.. " hey you, what are you doing" he called out

It was rare for a lesser devil to have such luxuries, but as a maid bound to serve, she was given a place in the grand estate she tended to. She took her time with breakfast, savoring the small indulgence before duty called. With a deep breath, she smoothed out the frilly black-and-white uniform she wore—a traditional maid’s attire, though tailored to accommodate the small, spaded tail that twitched behind her. Then, with broom and duster in hand, she made her way to the most daunting task of all: the Throne Room. The chamber was vast, the air thick with a lingering heat from the dark fires that illuminated the onyx pillars. The grand throne, carved from obsidian and trimmed with molten gold, loomed at the far end like a dark altar, a silent reminder of the power that ruled these halls. Even empty, the presence of its master clung to the air, making Luna’s fingers tremble slightly as she approached. She started with the floor, her bare feet padding lightly over the smooth stone as she swept, the floor was slick with the remnants of last night’s entertainment—trails of ichor, stray bone fragments, and the occasional tattered scrap of cloth. The rhythmic sound of bristles against marble filled the silence, and she lost herself in the motion, her small horns dipping as she worked diligently. Next came the banners, deep crimson tapestries embroidered with sigils that pulsed with infernal energy. Luna stood on her toes, stretching as she carefully dusted the edges, ensuring not a single speck marred their intimidating beauty. She knew better than to rush—it was expected that perfection be maintained. Finally, she approached the throne itself. The mere thought of touching it sent a nervous flutter through her chest. Swallowing hard, she hesitated before reaching out, her delicate fingers trailing lightly along the golden armrest, wiping away unseen filth. As she polished the surface with a careful hand, the heavy doors creaked behind her. A cold shiver ran down her spine as she realized she was no longer alone.

I can always copy what I wrote and move it over to the proper channel and you can delete that's post to keep other from being confused.

a bit tough... but in the future i suggest advertising it by simple talking about what the rp is about and instructions on how potential players should interact with the post to play the rp... so that they don't mistakenly respond to it and end up rping in quest board... anywho to just make a thread in the manor section with the same starter... oh and make sure to tag the people you expect or know will be joining the rp.... hey @DreamsnThings did you also want to join in on this too or no?

A bit of both, I thought it was part of your. But I was also advising for a rp setting as well. I was more trying to open up some RP if that make sense.

Nope thought that part was literally just for the intaction with the king now I know though

alright, im on fumes right now so im gonna go to bed and reply later... though just making sure but you are aware that the rp request (quest board) is just for advertising roleplays right, and that the actual roleplaying takes place in a thread in the manor or world beyound section depending on the setting, right ?

Alright, I did post a RP in the quest tab for the king and Luna to meet, just a heads up, other than that small interaction, I thought the rest would be more open group.

you guys can do a 1 on 1 interaction with each other... though i made a post it was mainly to encorage rping... and too be honest i haven't had a whole lot of gas to rp lately though you can call on me if you guys need the king for something

the directory section is where all relative information about the group setting is held including a image for the throne room... the description for it is pretty vague though so you should be able to get way with any such description as long as it's similar to the image or what's been described about the throne room so far

for reference my current plan for a character is probably going to be some variant of a mischievous maid, still trying to nail down exactly what I want that mischievousness to entail in the context of a demon lords castle, but it feels like a fun starting point for a setting like this

there's not really a list of Positions but i suggest taking something numerous individuals can occupy like a Citizen, soldier or Servant

This looks like a fun club. I’ll start working on my guy now. What positions are open?
