  2. I'm currently playing in my friend's D&D 5e game and playing a solo RPG called Apothecaria which is quite engaging. I'm running a Cortex Prime multiverse style game in a homemade setting I've been running since the 90's. This is the third iteration of the multiverse, and I'm able to bring some of the previous characters back as NPCs and every now and again with a guest player coming back for a couple sessions to reprise their character from a previous version of the multiverse. It's a lot of fun. I'm also running a (planned) 5-shot that just started yesterday. It's a sci-fi/fantasy heist/rescue adventure using Cortex set in a future world based on fairy tales, folklore, and urban legends. Each of the PCs is a version of a character from a fairy tale or folklore who were called together to perform a job - steal Christmas back from the evil forces who've corrupted it. I've built in almost every Christmas folklore character I could find as potential allies or enemies - the reindeer, Yule Lads, Belsnickel, Mari Lwyd, the Kallikantzaroi, and Père Fouettard, among others, as well as any frozen/ice creatures that sounded promising because I had to get yeti in there somewhere. Santa is Ded Moroz, and the PCs are playing Snegurochka (Ded Moroz's granddaughter, the ice maiden, who brought the group together to rescue her grandfather) Krampus (her boyfriend, who is only along to prove to Moroz that he should be part of Christmas) The Big Bad Wolf (an old pal of Krampus' who was brought in for his guile and ferocious fighting skills) Red Riding Hood (the Wolf's lover, and the last survivor of an order of warrior priestess' known for their beauty, fighting skills, and their hooded red cloaks) Anansi, the spider trickster that no one remembers inviting. I'm still trying to decide if there's a big bad who actually stole Christmas or if it's all a setup and Santa faked them out for some reason. I usually wait for one of my paranoid players to come up with some weird reason why it would be a setup and then riff off of that if they lean hard into it. I'm a very improv GM, so the final story usually isn't finalized until a session before or maybe right there at the table. I prepare a few endings, and then let the players guide me toward the one that seems most satisfying for them.
  3. I find just running in with a Double Barrel and a pistol to be pretty nice. Then there is the shovel.
  4. I did do a playthrough with Netrunner prior to version 2,0. At first I found it pretty fun, but I ended up being really bored with it. I may try it again with the new perk tree and such. I personally find the route of melee and shotgun more fun
  5. Yeah. Currently just testing out builds here and there but I prefer netrunner builds the most fun to use. I find cyberpsychosis to be fun in a right context, but I just prefer the plague and contagion build.
  6. A plague and contagion build. Just hide and slowly kill off entire buildings.
  7. I feel like we diverted a bit from the main topic here though xD What build are you using in Cyberpunk?
  8. Yeah basically. Just roll a d20 and leave it up to chance to give me a result. Haven't been so lucky recently so I've been taking 90-degree turns in my writing since my actions keep failing.
  9. I personally prefer the face to face way myself. Of course, if I had no other option than online and I really wanted to do tabletop, then that would be my way to do so. Seems like an odd preference, but have it your way ^^ So basically, just random chance in general?
  10. I prefer not to share such information, and I tried roll20 awhile ago and just never really liked it that way. I haven't checked any other systems out, I just roll a few dice when I am writing a fight to make it more chaotic. For the most part, it may not even be the DnD system, it's just dice and a pre-written result for a few ranges.
  11. Which country is that? If I may ask. There are also sites online where you can find groups, such as: https://roll20.net/ Actually, I have a RP club here with a setting I have written myself and using one of my favourite tabletop systems. Oh, I see. I am guessing it is the only system you really know of? Personally, I prefer much simpler systems ^^
  12. I haven't found a D&D group in my country yet that does games actively enough. Currently just spending my Saturdays at my local 40K store, painting away. I enjoy the system somewhat. I just use it for fight scenes in anything I'm writing.
  13. Oh, you meant D&D. I like tabletop roleplaying (I have a weekly group I play with), but personally never was a huge fan of the D&D system. For some reason, that is who most goes with. Not really sure why.
  14. Dungeons and Dragons. I went with Shadowheart for my first playthrough, but I will see how I should approach it next time I playthrough it again. Currently figuring out if I should play as a wizard or a bard.
  15. Dnd? Some sort of typo? I have romanced best girl, so I am satisfied on that front: Lae'zel!
  16. Found it great since I haven't been able to do anything dnd related for awhile. Very fun playing and messing around, though I feel like I missed out on some romance because I am a impatient person when it comes to single player.
  17. I assume you refered to Baldur's Gate III? Pretty fun game, but I have yet to finish it.
  18. Tell me the game or games you play most lately! For me it is: Stardew Valley Cyberpunk 2077 Magic the Gathering: Arena (just dailies mostly)
  19. To those of you who are into MTG: Did you see what they are releasing for the 30th anniversary? IF so, how do you feel about it?
  20. This is the chat for tabletop roleplaying in general, meaning you can talk about more than one of these if you want or switch around as you like. General chat is accepted to a certain extent.
