I know what that title implies but this isn't any sort of serious critique, I've been absolutely addicted to all things Monster Hunter recently, and I wanna talk about it. Any of it tbh.

I can't say I'm interested in any character beyond their designs, their personalities and story stakes are... Incredibly basic. I'm all for character driven stories but there's neither character nor story, it's like if you tried to tell the writer of God Hand to make a serious drama, but I LOVE those damn relics to death, the lore of Monster Hunter is seriously fascinating. Fingers crossed that Sunbreak will pull an Iceborne and make the newest area the largest yet, so they have an excuse to put in like, 20 relics in one location.
