Short Bio: Upon the recent retirement of his aging father, the new head of an ancient line of knights.  A line of knights who were part of team whose ancestors, in ancient times were said to have received the power of otherwise forgotten gods.  The exact details of the origins were forgotten to time, even the knights not remembering for sure.  Some said they received blessings from the gods, some say the first generation were crossbreed children of humans and gods, but no one can say for sure anymore.

All that is known is that they have a power and duty to fight, and to continue the line to fight again.  While they maintain the illusion of ordinary civilian life, they spend much of their time fighting, or preparing to.  Hikaru himself has seen his share of battles, though now he has a duty to begin preparing his own son(s) to join in the fight and eventually have children of their own.

He is not a cruel man but can be strict, and has devoted his life to higher purposes.
